IMPACT Wrestling Results for 4/28/20 Rebellion Night 2 Moose vs Michael Elgin vs Hernández

Hey Fight Fans, we hope you had a great day and are ready for tonight's edition of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS TV and Twitch TV!

Nic Nemeth: Sometimes People Say AEW Is A Little Fast And WWE Goes Way Too Slow, I Feel Like TNA Is A Happy Medium

- We open the show with a video package for tonight's special edition of IMPACT Wrestling with Night 2 of the Rebellion event before we open the show in the IMPACT Zone with our opening match between Suicide, Chris Bey, Trey and Rohit Raju.

Suicide vs Chris Bey vs Trey vs Rohit Raju

They pair off before they hit a four man series of standing switches until Chris hits Suicide with a shotgun dropkick and Rohit sends Trey out of the ring as Chris stomps and chokes Suicide in the corner. Trey gets knocked off of the apron when he tries to get back in before Rohit and Chris work together momentarily until Suicide locks in an octopus stretch on Chris and applies a double submission to Chris and Trey before Rohit sends Suicide out of the ring. Rohit comes back with running forearms in opposite corners and sweeps Chris before making Trey hit a senton onto Chris for two. Suicide hits a springboard arm drag into a hurricanrana to Chris before hitting a delayed atomic drop and Trey rocks him with a flurry of kicks. Trey hits Suicide with a jumping neckbreaker that makes him DDT Rohit and Chris and Trey counter each other until Chris rolls up Trey for two and hits Suicide with a wrecking ball dropkick.

Rohit rolls Chris up when they tease a stereo suicide dive and Chris dropkicks Rohit out of the ring before hitting a suicide dive. Suicide then hits a cannonball off of the apron and takes out everyone but Trey before Trey hits a flipping senton over the top rope. Trey rolls Rohit back into the ring for two before hitting Chris with a jumping stomp for two. Suicide and Chris hit a suplex into a diving cross body for a two count that Rohit breaks up before Chris hit a butterfly backbreaker for a near fall. Everyone then hits a move before Trey gets a near fall on an inside cradle and Rohit hits a sit-out facebuster and Suicide takes out Chris.

Trey hits a cheeky nandos kick before sending Rohit into the middle turnbuckle and a double 619. Chris then pins Rohit with a roundhouse kick to the back of the head for the pin and the win.

Winner: Chris Bey defeats Rohit Raju, Trey and Suicide via pinfall.

- After the match we get highlights of last week's show before we get a rundown of tonight's card. Josh announces that the Knockouts title and the World titles will not be defended tonight before we get a Skype interview with IMPACT World champion Tessa Blanchard where she discusses not being able to defend her title tonight. We then get a video package for Cancel Culture and The Deaners ahead of Jake's match against Joey Ryan up next.

Joey Ryan vs Cousin Jake

Joey shoves Jake before escaping to the ropes and Jake drives Joey into the corner when they lock up for a clean break. They lock up again and Jake shoves Joey away before Joey comes back with right hands and Jake runs him over. Jake drops Joey with a stiff forearm before tossing him across the ring and whipping him into the corner for two. Jake then goes shoulder first into the post and falls out of the ring as we go to commercial.

We come back to Joey in control of Jake now, focusing on his injured shoulder and chokes him in the corner until Jake comes back with a release suplex. Jake hits a running splash in the corner before Joey hits a jumping arm breaker for two and Jake hits a high angle back suplex. Jake drops Joey several times and hits a discus clothesline for two before clotheslining Joey over the top rope and down onto the floor. Jake hits a slingshot cross body over the top rope and before hitting a running cross body and rolling him back into the ring. Jake hits a sit-out powerbomb for a near fall before Joey superkicks Jake for a near fall.

Jake then catches a kick before Joey rolls him up while holding the ropes for the pin and the win.

Winner: Joey Ryan defeats Cousin Jake via pinfall

- After the match we go to Rosemary at the bar where she vents to Taya Valkyrie on FaceTime before we get a video package narrated by Havok ahead of their match up next in Full Metal Mayhem as we go to commercial as Rosemary comes out to the ring.

Rosemary vs Havok

Rosemary staples the hand of Havok before stapling various parts of her body until Havok drops her. Havok takes the staple gun and staples the back of Rosemary before tossing her across the ring and Rosemary catches Havok coming in with a back elbow. Rosemary hits a sling blade and lays into Havok with forearms in mount before bringing metal parking signs into the ring. Rosemary hits Havok with the street signs until she's dropped with a boot and Havok goes head first into a chair wedged in the corner. Rosemary chokes Havok in the corner with a chain before she pulls Rosemary in and hits a backbreaker.

Havok tosses chairs and a baking sheet into the ring before hitting a running boot into the corner before doing it with a garbage can lid across Rosemary's face. Havok sets up a chair in the center of the ring before Rosemary pulls the chain and sends Havok face first into the chair. Rosemary pulls Havok around the ring by the chain before Havok hits a Samoan drop onto the ramp. We are informed of a mysterious woman named Naveah who shows up in the back of the arena before Rosemary hits Havok with a trash can. Back in the ring Rosemary wedges a chair in the corner before setting two chairs up in front of each other in the center of the ring.

Havok sends Rosemary into the chair in the corner before Havok chokeslams Rosemary onto the chairs in the center of the ring for a near fall. Havok then chokes Rosemary before Rosemary hits her with a pipe and covers her for the pin and the win.

Winner: Rosemary defeats Havok via pinfall.

- After the match we go backstage to an interview with Rich Swann and the X-Division champion Willie Mack before they're interrupted by Johnny Swinger before we get this week's IMPACT+Flashback Moment of the Week featuring Sami Callihan and Rich Swann from last year's Rebellion in an OvE Rules match in which Rich left with his X-Division title. We then get a backstage interview with Michael Elgin from earlier today where he says that he's going to win the world title later tonight even though there's no champions here tonight as we go to commercial.

- We come back Michael Elgin in the ring where he talks about Rebellion and how he came to IMPACT to become world champion. Michael makes the referee come out to the ring as well as the ring announcer before the referee raises his hand and the announcer starts to announce him as the new IMPACT World champion before the lights go out. Music plays and Moose comes out of the darkness and down to the ring wearing the TNA World Championship. They then exchange words before they're interrupted by Hernández they decide to have a triple threat match.

Moose vs Michael Elgin vs Hernández

Hernandez immediately gets into the ring and Moose stomps him as we go to commercial.

We come back to Hernández and Moose exchanging strikes at ringside before Elgin hits a tope and Moose drops Elgin with a right hand once they're back in the ring. Elgin and Hernández hit a double hip toss to Moose before Hernández hits a slingshot shoulder tackle. Moose dropkicks Hernández before Elgin hits him with a northern lights suplex for two. Hernández and Moose double up on Elgin before Hernández drops Elgin with forearms and Elgin dropkicks his knee. Elgin locks in a single leg Boston crab before hitting Moose with a dragon screw and Hernández runs Elgin over.

Hernández sets Elgin on the top turnbuckle before Elgin hits a missile dropkick for two as we go to commercial.

We come back to Elgin chopping Hernández in the corner before suplexing him and they exchange forearms until Elgin drops him with a knee lift. Moose gets back into the ring and all three men exchange strikes until Elgin hits running clotheslines in the corner to Hernández. Moose catches Elgin with a boot before Moose hits Hernández with a superplex and Elgin hits a swanton bomb off of the top to Moose as we go to commercial.

We come back to Hernández dropping off Elgin repeatedly before hitting a running senton for a near fall that Moose breaks up. Hernández whips Moose into the corner and clotheslines before sending him over the top rope and down onto the floor. Elgin gets dropped with a boot by Hernández when he runs the ropes before Hernández goes for the Border Toss and Moose stops him. Moose drops Hernández with several shoulders tackles before hitting a powerbomb into a jumping splash for a near fall. Elgin jumps over a spear and hits a series of German suplexes before Hernández hits Elgin with a German and Elgin hire a double suplex for a near fall.

Elgin and Moose exchange before Moose hits Go to Hell for a near fall that Hernández breaks up before Hernández sends Moose across the ring with a shoulder block for a near fall that Elgin breaks up. Elgin hits Hernández with a discus clothesline before hitting a lariat and Moose with a pop-up powerbomb. Moose eats a buckle bomb and spears Elgin for a near fall before Moose and Hernández exchange forearms. Hernández hits a spinebuster for a near fall by Elgin when he tosses Hernández out of the ring before Moose is sent out of the ring. Elgin hits Hernández with a buckle bomb before hitting an Elgin Bomb for a near fall, Moose pulling the referee out of the ring.

Elgin takes out the referee before Hernández accidentally takes out Elgin and the second referee. Hernández then tosses Moose back into the ring as well as the first referee before Moose spears him for the pin and the win.

Winner: Moose defeats Hernández and Michael Elgin via pinfall.
