- The show starts with Raw GM Kurt Angle in the ring, Angle thanks all the Raw stars who competed at WWE Extreme Rules last night. Angle then brings up the ultimatum he gave WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar last night, Angle is bout to strip Lesnar of that title when Paul Heyman arrives. Heyman announces that Lesnar is not here tonight on WWE Raw, Heyman claims that Lesnar cares about being WWE Universal Champion and loves being a part of the WWE. Heyman says he wants to represent the WWE Universe and be WWE Universal Champion when he challenges Daniel Cormier for the UFC Heavyweight Title, Angle declares that Lesnar will defend the title at WWE Summerslam or be stripped of the title.
Heyman says that Lesnar will defend the WWE Universal Title at WWE Summerslam, Bobby Lashley interrupts and makes his way to the ring. Lashley says he accomplished one goal for his WWE return when he defeated Roman Reigns at WWE Extreme Rules, Lashley says the other goal is to beat Lesnar and win the WWE Universal Title. Drew McIntyre interrupts and makes his way to the ring, McIntyre says he also came back to the WWE to change things and win the WWE Universal Title. Seth Rollins comes out next and he has something to say, Rollins goes face to face with McIntyre before saying he wants to face Lesnar. Elias comes out next and he plays his guitar while walking to the ring, Elias announces his debut album drops on July 23. Elias proclaims that he should fight Lesnar for the WWE Universal Title, Finn Balor comes out next and he has something to say.
Balor talks about being the very first WWE Universal Champion and that he should get a shot at the title, Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring next. Reigns says he has no excuses for losing last night and he wants a fight tonight, Angle says there are going to be two triple threat matches tonight. The winners will meet next week on Raw and that winner of that match gets the title shot against Lesnar at WWE Summerslam.
- Raw GM Kurt Angle bumps into Constable Corbin backstage, Corbin complains about not being in the triple threat matches tonight after losing to Finn Balor at WWE Extreme Rules.
WWE Universal Title #1 Contenders Tournament Semi-Finals
Roman Reigns vs. Finn Balor vs. Drew McIntyre
The match begins with McIntyre attacking Balor before Reigns goes after him, Balor and Reigns would then double team McIntyre. Balor surprises Reigns with a roll up for a near fall, McIntyre drops Balor before attacking Reigns with strikes in the corner. Balor recovers and he nails McIntyre with a drop kick, Reigns knocks McIntyre out of the ring and Balor does the same to him a few moments later. Balor then hits both opponents with a suicide dive, Balor gets McIntyre in the ring and McIntyre drops him with an Irish whip into the corner. Reigns gets back in the ring and McIntyre drops him for a near fall, McIntyre stomps away on a downed Reigns. McIntyre traps Reigns in the corner while landing a few strikes, McIntyre then drops Balor before kicking Reigns in the face.
McIntyre then nails Reigns with a suplex for a near fall, McIntyre then gets Balor in the corner while landing some more strikes. Reigns gets up and McIntyre drops him with a right for a near fall, McIntyre mounts a downed Reigns while landing more blows. Balor gets to the ring apron and McIntyre knocks him to the arena floor, McIntyre picks up Reigns before nailing him with a neck breaker for another near fall as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see McIntyre attacking Reigns with a plethora of strikes. McIntyre goes out of the ring to drop Balor on top of the ring apron, Balor gets in the ring and McIntyre stomps away on both opponents. Balor and Reigns fight back by double teaming McIntyre, Reigns knocks McIntyre out of the ring and Balor drops him with a forearm strike.
Reigns recovers and drops a charging Balor with a clothesline, Reigns misses a Drive By and Balor nails him with a slingshot double stomp. Reigns falls to the arena floor and McIntyre takes him out with a suicide dive, Balor then shoves McIntyre into the ring steps before landing a double stomp from the ring apron. Balor gets Reigns in the ring before landing a double stomp for a near fall, Reigns fights back and Balor drops him with an enzaguri. Balor goes to the top rope and McIntyre knocks him to the arena floor with a steel chair shot, McIntyre brings the chair into the ring and Reigns pops him with a right. McIntyre recovers and he throws Reigns into the ring post for a near fall as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Reigns nailing a cornered McIntyre with clothesline strikes.
Reigns then drops a dazed McIntyre with a boot to the face, Reigns goes for a superman punch and McIntyre counters with a spine buster for a near fall. Balor returns and he attacks McIntyre with a steel chair, Balor knocks McIntyre out of the ring with more chair shots. Balor also attacks a downed Reigns with multiple chair shots, Reigns rolls out of the ring and Balor takes out McIntyre with a shotgun drop kick into the barricade. Reigns appears out of nowhere and he nails McIntyre with a spear, Balor then hits Reigns with a sling blade on the arena floor. Balor gets Reigns in the ring before landing another sling blade, Reigns recovers and nails Balor with a superman punch for a near fall. Reigns goes for a spear and Balor kicks him in the head before landing a shotgun drop kick, Balor lands a Coupe De Grace and McIntyre drags him out of the ring to prevent a three count.
McIntyre throws Balor into the ring steps before getting him back in the ring, McIntyre goes for a Claymore and Reigns nails him and Balor with superman punches. McIntyre recovers and hits Reigns with a Glasgow Kiss, McIntyre then hits Balor with a Claymore before eating a superman punch from Reigns. Reigns hits Balor with a spear for the three count.
Winner: Roman Reigns
- Bayley meets with Raw GM Kurt Angle backstage, Bayley admits that friendship counseling didn't go so well. Angle says that Bayley will team with Sasha Banks to face Alicia Fox and Dana Brooke tonight. Angle says that if Bayley and Banks can't get along, one of them will get traded to Smackdown.
- Dolph Ziggler is shown backstage.
- WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler makes his way to the ring, Ziggler says that he put on a clinic against Seth Rollins at WWE Extreme Rules 2018. Ziggler brings up the fact that the WWE Intercontinental Title Match headlined a WWE pay-per-view for the first time in 17 years, Ziggler says he respects Rollins, but he is no Dolph Ziggler. Bobby Roode interrupts and makes his way to the ring, Roode says Ziggler should give Drew McIntyre credit for winning at WWE Extreme Rules. Ziggler mocks Roode for not even having a match at WWE Extreme Rules, Roode challenges Ziggler to a WWE Intercontinental Title Match tonight and Ziggler accepts, but its non-title.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Bobby Roode
The match begins with Ziggler wrenching away on the arm of Roode, Ziggler transitions to a headlock against Roode. Ziggler releases the hold and drops Roode with a shoulder tackle, Roode recovers and he gets Ziggler in a headlock. Ziggler backs Roode into the corner before landing a few strikes, Ziggler again gets Roode down with a headlock. Roode gets free and he drops Ziggler with a shoulder tackle, Roode then knocks Ziggler out of the ring. Roode also goes out of the ring and he throws Ziggler into the barricade, Roode gets Ziggler in the ring and Ziggler quickly sends him back out. Roode gets in the ring and Ziggler drops him for a near fall, Ziggler slows things down while holding Roode in a chin lock. Roode gets free and Ziggler nails him with a neck breaker for a near fall, Roode fights back and he nails Ziggler with a ton of strikes.
Roode then drops Ziggler with a clothesline, Ziggler recovers and he sends a charging Roode into the corner as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Ziggler holding Roode in a rear naked choke, Roode gets free and he nails Ziggler with a few strikes. Ziggler misses a charge in the corner and still manages to get a sleeper hold on Roode, Roode gets free and he nails Ziggler with multiple clotheslines. Roode then catches Ziggler with a uranage, Roode follows that up with a running clothesline and a blockbuster. Roode goes for a Glorious DDT and Ziggler rolls him up for a near fall, Ziggler eventually catches Roode with a Zig Zag after a series of roll ups for a near fall. Ziggler goes for a super kick and Roode propels him into the corner before landing a spine buster for a near fall, Ziggler recovers and drops Roode neck first on the top rope.
Roode blocks a second Zig Zag and Ziggler still manages to kick him in his injured knee, Ziggler nails Roode with a super kick for the three count.
Winner: Dolph Ziggler
- Bobby Lashley is warming up backstage, he then addresses the WWE Universe and says he can beat Broick Lesnar at WWE Summerslam.
- Bobby Roode is shown walking backstage when he bumps into Mojo Rawley, Rawley mocks Roode for his loss earlier in the night.
Mojo Rawley vs. Tyler Breeze
The match begins with Rawley getting Breeze into the corner before landing shoulder thrusts, Breeze recovers and nails Rawley with a drop kick. Breeze knocks Rawley out of the ring and he misses a follow up dive, Rawley then hits a hurt Breeze with a shoulder tackle. Rawley gets Breeze back into the ring for a near fall on a pin attempt, Rawley holds Breeze down with a modified chin lock. Breeze gets free and he nails Rawley with an enzaguri, Breeze follows that up with a forearm strike on a cornered Rawley. Rawley recovers to hit Breeze with an avalanche followed by The Pounce, Rawley crushes Breeze with a Lights Out and an Alabama Slam for the three count.
Winner: Mojo Rawley
- Bayley & Sasha Banks are shown walking backstage.
Bayley & Sasha Banks vs. Dana Brooke & Alicia Fox
The match begins with Fox backing Bayley into the corner before landing a few strikes, Bayley argues with the referee and Fox kicks her in the head for a near fall. Brooke tags in and she hits a cornered Bayley with a handspring elbow strike, Brooke misses a second handspring elbow strike on Bayley. Bayley fights back against Brooke by landing multiple clotheslines, Brooke recovers and levels Bayley with a clothesline. Brooke knocks Bayley to the arena floor so Fox can maul her with strikes, Banks helps Bayley by taking out the opposing team. Banks takes out both Brooke and Fox as the referee calls for the bell after several warnings to all the wrestlers.
Match Result: No Contest
- Bayley confronts Sasha Banks in the locker room, Banks says she will not let anybody beat up Bayley besides her. Banks says she has always cared about Bayley and that she hates talking about her feelings, Banks talks about everything she loves about Bayley. Banks then says that she loves Bayley before storming out of the locker room.

- Renee Young interviews Braun Strowman, Strowman says that he has does regret not congratulating Kevin Owens on his victory last night and then says he isn’t competing for a WWE Universal Title shot and he mentioned the Money In The Bank briefcase.
The B-Team (Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas) vs. The Ascension (Konnor & Viktor)
The match is joined in progress and we see Konnor working over Axel, Axel throws Konnor into the ring post before tagging Dallas in. Dallas attacks a cornered Konnor with a plethora of strikes, Axel tags in and he nails Konnor with a DDT for a near fall. Axel holds Konnor down while applying a front headlock, Konnor gets free as Viktor and Dallas get tagged into the match. Viktor nails Dallas with a few strikes followed by a middle rope knee strike for a near fall, Axel sends an interfering Konnor out of the ring. Axel tags in an The B-Team nail Viktor with their finisher for the three count.
Winners: The B-Team (Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas)
After the match, Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt appear to announce that they will have their rematch for the Raw Tag Team Titles next week on WWE Raw.

- Alexa Bliss & Mickie James were shown walking backstage.
- Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss and Mickie James make their way to the end, Bliss talks about beating Nia Jax at WWE Extreme Rules. Bliss says that her intelligence is what keeps her the Raw Women’s Champion, Bliss brags that she has beaten every women in the Raw locker room. Bliss also brings up the fact that Ronda Rousey is currently suspended, Rousey appears in the crowd as Bliss and James try going backstage. Rousey stops them from getting backstage and she gets a hold of a running James in the ring, Rousey drops James with a spinning Samoan drop before WWE officials prevent any further damage. Rousey takes out all the WWE officials alongside Bliss and James on the entrance ramp, Rousey gets Bliss in the ring when Raw GM Kurt Angle comes out.
Angle is able to get Rousey to release the arm of Bliss and Bliss hightails it from the ringside area, Constable Corbin comes out and he wants Angle to punish Rousey. Angle adds a week to Rousey’s current suspension, Corbin threatens to call Stephanie McMahon and he doesn’t have his phone. Corbin leaves to get his phone and Angle reveals that he has Corbin’s phone, Angle says that Rousey will meet Bliss for the Raw Women’s Title at WWE Summerslam as long as she serves the remainder of the suspension without incident.
- Charly Caruso interviews Seth Rollins, who says that WWE Extreme Rules wasn't his night, but its his night from here on out.
Authors Of Pain (Akam & Rezar) vs. Titus Worldwide (Titus O’Neal & Apollo Crews)
The match begins with Rezar distracting Crews so Akam can attack him from behind, Akam attacks O’Neal and he throws him into the ring post. Akam then drops O’Neal with a clothesline on the arena floor, Crews fights back and Rezar tags into the match. Rezar nails Crews with a full nelson slam before landing shoulder thrusts in the corner, Akam tags in and he kicks Crews in the face. Rezar tags in and the AOP hit Crews with a double gut buster, AOP hit Crews with the Last Chapter for the three count.
Winners: Authors Of Pain (Akam & Rezar)
- Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan bump into No Way Jose backstage, but avoid the conga line fun.
Ember Moon vs. Sarah Logan w/Liv Morgan
The match begins with Logan scoring a takedown on Moon after some chain wrestling, Logan holds Moon down with a front headlock. Moon gets free and she holds Logan in a waist lock, Moon goes to the top rope and Logan lands a strike that knocks her to the arena floor. Logan gets Moon back in the ring for a near fall on a pin attempt, Logan mounts Moon while landing a few strikes. Logan traps Moon in the ropes while stomping away on her, Morgan nails Moon with a strike while Logan distracts the referee. Logan catches Moon with a bridging back suplex for a near fall, Logan holds Moon down while applying a modified cobra clutch. Moon gets free and she levels Logan with a right, Moon drops Logan again with a forearm strike before landing knee strikes.
Moon then hits Logan with a sliding flat liner, Morgan tries distracting Moon and Moon takes care of her before kicking Logan in the head for a near fall. Moon knocks Logan to the arena floor before landing a suicide dive, Moon gets Logan in the ring for a near fall on a pin attempt. Morgan distracts Moon again and Logan knocks Moon off the ropes before getting the three count.
Winner: Sarah Logan w/Liv Morgan
- Elias is shown warming up on a guitar backstage.
- Elias is in the ring and he wants to know “who wants to walk with Elias?” Elias performs a song and is eventually interrupted by Seth Rollins.

Seth Rollins vs. Elias vs. Bobby Lashley
The match begins with Elias jumping Rollins from behind as Lashley was making his entrance, Elias knocks Rollins out of the ring before Lashley attacks him. Lashley traps Elias in the corner before landing a few strikes, Elias rolls out of the ring before eating a clothesline from Rollins. Rollins goes in the ring and her takes Lashley down with a headlock, Lashley gets free and he nails Rollins with a shoulder tackle. Lashley knocks Elias off the ring apron before applying a headlock to Rollins, Rollins gets free and he drops Lashley with a drop kick. Rollins goes for a springboard clothesline and Lashley kicks him in the midsection, Elias then knocks Lashley out of the ring with a knee strike. Rollins is also dropped with a knee strike from Elias as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Elias holding Rollins in a chin lock.
Lashley returns and he double teams Elias alongside Rollins, Lashley nails Elias with an overhead release suplex. Rollins goes after Lashley and Lashley plants everybody with power slams, Elias rolls out of the ring to avoid a spear from Lashley. Lashley follows Elias out of the ring and Elias throws him into the ring post a few times, Elias gets Lashley in the ring before landing a top rope elbow drop for a near fall. Rollins nails Lashley with a frog splash and Elias throws him out of the ring before getting another near fall on Lashley, Rollins returns and he nails Elias with a blockbuster for a near fall. Rollins and Elias take their battle to the top rope, Elias knocks Rollins off the ropes and Lashley meets him on the top rope. Rollins returns and he nails Lashley with a buckle bomb, Rollins then hits Elias with a superplex into a falcon arrow for a near fall.
Elias rolls out of the ring and Rollins takes him out with a suicide dive, Rollins then hits Lashley with a suicide dive. Rollins gets back in the ring to hit Elias with a sling blade, Rollins nails Elias with a curb stomp for a near fall. Lashley and Rollins have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Lashley drops Rollins before landing a delayed vertical suplex, Lashley misses a spear and Rollins rolls him up for a near fall. Rollins looks for a curb stomp and Elias drags him out of the ring, Lashley catches Elias with a spear for the three count.
