WWE Raw Results For 8/6: Ronda Rousey Makes Her Raw In-Ring Debut, Ruby Riott Returns & Plenty Of Rematches

WWE SmackDown Spoilers For 11/29 (Taped On 11/22)


- The show starts off with highlights of WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar’s actions on last weeks WWE Raw.

- Raw GM Kurt Angle makes his way to the ring with Constable Corbin, Angle welcomes everybody to Raw while mentioning the Raw in-ring debut for Ronda Rousey tonight. Angle says Rousey and all the other Raw superstars are champions in his book, while saying Lesnar has no class and then says that Paul Heyman will not be fired. Angle announces that Renee Young will interview Heyman tonight, Roman Reigns interrupts and makes his way to the ring. Reigns says that Angle shouldn’t have kicked him out of the arena last week, Angle says that he wants Reigns to beat Lesnar at WWE Summerslam.

Corbin accosts Angle for what he said and Reigns insults Corbin as well, Angle questions Corbin’s manhood after Corbin gives excuses for not helping him last week. Angle then makes Roman Reigns versus Constable Corbin and it starts immediately.

Roman Reigns vs. Constable Corbin

The match begins with Corbin dropping Reigns before the bell sounds, Reigns recovers to nail Corbin with a superman punch for a near fall as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Corbin holding Reigns in a modified chin lock, Reigns gets free and Corbin drops him with a clothesline for a near fall. Corbin traps Reigns in the corner while landing a few strikes, Reigns fights back as Corbin nails him with knee strikes and an elbow strike for a near fall. Corbin reapplies the modified chin lock to a downed Reigns, Corbin releases the hold to stomp away on Reigns. Corbin again reapplies the chin lock to a downed Reigns, Reigns gets free and he drops Corbin with multiple clotheslines.

Reigns then knocks Corbin out of the ring with a clothesline, Reigns follows that up by nailing Corbin with a Drive By. Reigns gets Corbin in the ring and Corbin rolls right back out, Reigns reaches for Corbin and Corbin sends him into the ring post as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Corbin again holding Reigns in a modified chin lock, Reigns gets free and drops Corbin with a clothesline. Reigns follows that up with a Samoan drop against Corbin, Reigns traps Corbin in the corner while landing clothesline smashes. Reigns then drops Corbin with a boot to the face, Reigns looks for a superman punch and Corbin counters with a Deep Six for a near fall.

Corbin then nails a cornered Reigns with multiple running clotheslines, Reigns fights back and he eventually nails Corbin with a superman punch for a near fall. Reigns sets up for the spear and Corbin rolls out of the ring, Finn Balor arrives and he forces Corbin to get back towards the ring. Reigns nails Corbin with a superman punch on the arena floor, Reigns gets Corbin in the ring and he lands a spear for the three count.

Winner: Roman Reigns

After the match, Finn Balor gets in the ring and he nails Constable Corbin with a shotgun drop kick followed by Coupe De Grace.

- Ronda Rousey is shown talking to Natalya backstage. 

 - Bobby Roode is posing in front of a mirror backstage. 

- Highlights are shown from Drew McIntyre & Dolph Ziggler’s attack on Seth Rollins from last weeks Raw.

- Seth Rollins approaches Raw GM Kurt Angle in his office, Rollins says he has a problem with Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler. Angle says Rollins and a partner of his choice will face Ziggler and McIntyre tonight.

Bobby Roode vs. Mojo Rawley

The match begins with Roode catching Rawley in a headlock, Rawley gets free and he nails Roode with a few strikes. Roode fights back and he drops Rawley with a clothesline, Roode goes for a Glorious DDT and Rawley escapes before getting sent out of the ring. Rawley goes to the ring apron and Roode drop kicks him to the arena floor as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Rawley holding Roode in a reverse bearhug. Roode gets free and Rawley nails him with a knee strike followed by a gut wrench suplex for a near fall, Rawley attacks the back of Roode with a few forearm strikes. Rawley reapplies the reverse bearhug to a downed Roode, Roode gets free and Rawley nails him with a side slam.

Roode catches Rawley with a sunset flip before a striking exchange breaks out, Roode then hits Rawley with some forearm strikes and clotheslines. Roode also drops Rawley with a neck breaker before landing a blockbuster, Rawley escapes the Glorious DDT before catching a leaping Roode. Roode escapes the clutches of Rawley to land a Glorious DDT for a three count.

Winner: Bobby Roode

- Elias is talking to his production crew backstage about what he has planned for tonight.

- Elias is in the ring and he wants to know “who wants to walk with Elias?” Elias says he is filing his own documentary because the WWE Network got it wrong, the crew starts filming as Elias gives them pointers, Bobby Lashley interrupts and makes his way to the ring. Lashley says he saw Elias’ first documentary and it was good, Elias claims that Lashley is trying to steal the spotlight from Elias and his comeback has been a joke. Elias gets the film crew out of the ring before attacking Lashley, Lashley recovers and he nails Elias with a spine buster. Lashley brings the film crew back into the ring so they can film him beating up Elias.

- Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler are shown backstage.

- Tyler Breeze approaches Seth Rollins backstage about being his partner tonight, but Rollins turns him down as Roman Reigns walks in and he fist pounds Rollins.

Titus O’Neil w/Apollo Crews & Dana Brooke vs. Rezar w/Akam

The match begins with Rezar backing O’Neil into the corner while landing some strikes, Rezar attacks the back of O’Neil with more strikes. O’Neil fights back and Rezar drops him with a knee strike to the midsection, Rezar traps O’Neil in the ropes while landing more strikes. Rezar gets O’Neil in the corner while choking him with his boot, O’Neil fights back again and he nails Rezar with some strikes. O’Neil traps Rezar in the corner while landing some shoulder thrusts, O’Neil then nails Rezar with a boot to the face. O’Neil then hits a cornered Rezar with an avalanche, Akam dsitarcts O’Neil so Rezar can drop him. Rezar nails O’Neil with a spine buster for the three count.

Winner: Rezar w/Akam

- Kevin Owens is shown talking to Jinder Mahal & Sunil Singh backstage.

- The Kevin Owens Show is up next and the guest tonight is Jinder Mahal with Sunil Singh, Owens brings his gusts out to the stage. Owens talks about all the help Mahal has given him since Braun Strowman destroyed him at WWE Extreme Rules, Owens talks about how he and Mahal have defeated Braun Strowman. Owens says he’ll beat Strowman at WWE Summerslam to become the Money In The Bank contract winner, Owens then says he will regain the WWE Universal Title. Owens introduces Strowman and Strowman doesn’t come out, Strowman appears from behind the stage before lifting it and tossing everybody from it.

Braun Strowman vs. Jinder Mahal w/Sunil Singh & Kevin Owens

The match begins with Owens stealing Strowman’s Money In The Bank case, Strowman scares Owens away while regaining his case. Strowman corners Mahal before tossing him across the ring, Owens gets the case again and Strowman gets it back before dropping Owens. Strowman attacks Mahal with the briefcase and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Jinder Mahal w/Sunil Singh, by DQ

After the match, Braun Strowman goes after Jinder Mahal and winds up destroying Sunil Singh instead.

- Constable Corbin hands Raw GM Kurt Angle a phone backstage, Stephanie McMahon is on the other end and she gives him some bad news.

- Corey Grave interviews Roman Reiggns, who says he may have lost to Brock Lesnar multiple times, but he still whooped Lesnar’s ass. A video package also airs highlighting the feud between both men, Reigns says he is tired of the disrespect shown by Lesnar towards the WWE and Reigns himself. Reigns says he will defend the WWE Universal Title against all deserving contenders if he beats Lesnar at WWE Summerslam.

- Raw GM Kurt Angle & Constable Corbin approach The Shield backstage, Corbin informs Reigns that Stephanie McMahon won’t allow him to wrestle again tonight. Corbin says that Rollins will still have to wrestle tonight or lose his title shot at WWE Summerslam, Reigns attacks Corbin again.

Drew McIntyre & Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins

The match begins with Rollins slapping a trash talking McIntyre, McIntyre chases Rollins around the ring and Rollins attacks Ziggler when he returns to the ring. McIntyre gets back in the ring and Rollins nails him with a kick to the face, Ziggler distracts Rollins and that allows McIntyre to land a back breaker. McIntyre mounts a downed Rollins while attacking him with strikes, McIntyre then drops Rollins with a hard Irish whip into the corner. Ziggler tags in and he attacks Rollins with a few strikes, McIntyre tags in and he attacks a cornered Rollins with strikes. McIntyre holds Rollins down while wrenching away on his head, McIntyre transitions to nailing Rollins with a suplex slam.

Ziggler tags in and Rollins fights back against him, Ziggler gets angry and he nails Rollins with head first shots into the top turnbuckle. Ziggler misses an avalanche in the corner and Rollins nails him with a few strikes a little while later, Rollins is knocked out of the ring and he knocks McIntyre off the ring apron before throwing him into the ring post. Rollins gets back in the ring and he nails Ziggler with a sling blade, Rollins then knocks Ziggler out of the ring. Rollins takes out Ziggler with a suicide dive before getting him back in the ring, Rollins then hits Ziggler with a springboard clothesline. Rollins misses a curb stomp and he still hits Ziggler with a buckle bomb, McIntyre tags in and he quickly drops Rollins.

Ziggler tags in and Rollins nails McIntyre with a knee strike, Ziggler nails Rollins with a super kick for the three count.

Winners: Drew McIntyre & Dolph Ziggler

- Ronda Rousey is shown warming up backstage.

The B-Team (Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas) vs. The Revival (Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson)

The match begins with Dawson backing Axel into the corner before Wilder tags in, Axel gets free and he wrenches away on the arm of Axel. Wilder would then corner Axel before landing a running clothesline, Axel would drop Wilder before tagging Dallas in. Dallas and Axel double team Wilder for a near fall, Dawson tags in and The Revival double teams Dallas in the corner. Dawson traps Dallas in the corner while landing a few more strikes, Dawson applies the cobra clutch to a downed Dallas. Dallas gets free and he bumps heads with Dawson, The Deleters Of Worlds appear in the ring to replace Axel and Wilder on the ring apron. The Deleters Of Worlds attack Dallas and Dawson to end the match.

Match Result: No Contest

- Renee Young interviews Paul Heyman, who says that he doesn’t know where things stand with WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. Heyman says that Lesnar will not like this interview and it may anger him further, Heyman says he considers Lesnar to be a friend. Heyman says he and Lesnar were supposed to ride off into the sunset together, Heyman says he has never seen Lesnar like this before and Roman Reigns doesn’t stand a chance at WWE Summerslam.

The Riott Squad (Sarah Logan & Liv Morgan) vs. The Boss & Hug Connection (Bayley & Sasha Banks)

The match begins with Morgan cracking Banks with a right, Morgan then stomps away on a cornered Banks. Banks recovers and she tags Bayley in after sending Morgan into the corner, Bayley drops Morgan before getting a near fall. Morgan kicks Bayley in the knee before tagging Logan in, Bayley quickly drops Logan before landing an elbow drop for a near fall. Bayley holds Logan down while wrenching away on her arm, Logan gets free and Bayley catches her with a middle rope cross body block for a near fall. Logan uses a hair pull to drop Bayley before sending her into the middle turnbuckle, Morgan tags in and nails Bayley with a double stomp as we go to a commercial break.

We return from the break to see Logan holding a downed Bayley in a cobra clutch, Bayley uses a jaw breaker to get free. Logan recovers and reapplies the cobra clutch to Bayley, Bayley gets free again by knocking Logan out of the ring. Logan recovers and she corners Bayley before double teaming her with Morgan, Morgan tags in and she hits Bayley with a middle rope face buster for a near fall. Bayley recovers and drops Morgan face first on the top turnbuckle, Logan and Banks get tagged in by their respective partners. Banks quickly cleans house against the opposing team, Banks nails Logan with knee strikes before tagging Bayley in.

Bayley catches Logan with a top rope hurricarana, Banks tags in and she hits Logan with a top rope double knee strike for a near fall. Bayley leaps off the ring apron and Ruby Riott helps Morgan get out of the way, Logan rolls up a distracted Banks for the three count.

Winners: The Riott Squad (Sarah Logan & Liv Morgan)

- Charly Caruso tries interviewing Alicia Fox about her match with Ronda Rousey, but Alexa Bliss interrupts and mocks Caruso for asking a question about Rousey. Fox claims that Rousey is still banged up from last weeks attack, a video plays highlighting Fox’s attack on Rousey. Bliss sends Caruso out of the ring before praising Fox some more, Bliss thanks Fox for her contributions to the women’s evolution.

Ronda Rousey w/Natalya vs. Alicia Fox w/Alexa Bliss

The match begins with a stare down between the competitors, Rousey avoids a slap from Fox before shoving her out of the ring. Bliss distracts Rousey and Natalya quickly comes to her aid before getting shoved into the ring post, Bliss trips up Rousey so Fox can attack her with a ton of strikes. Rousey gets up and she destroys Fox with a striking combination, Rousey then takes Fox down with multiple judo throws. Fox rolls out of the ring and Rousey meets her out there before tossing her into the barricade, Rousey gets Fox in the ring and Bliss tries distracting her. Rousey then tosses Fox across the ring with an exploder suplex, Rousey goes for the arm bar and Fox taps out.

Winner: Ronda Rousey w/Natalya

After the match, Alexa Bliss tries attacking Ronda Rousey and Rousey takes her down.
