The New Day talk about defending the gold against Rusev Day, The New Day are about to perform a song when Aiden English interrupts for his teams introduction.
SmackDown Live Tag Team Championships
The New Day (Big E & Kofi Kingston) w/Xavier Woods (c) vs. Rusev Day (Rusev & Aiden English) w/Lana
The match begins with English going for a monkey flip and Kingston lands on his feet, Kingston hits English with a double stomp for a near fall. Rusev tags in and he corners Kingston before landing shoulder thrusts, Rusev catches a leaping Kingston before landing some knee strikes and a fall away slam. English tags in and he attacks a cornered Kingston with a plethora of strikes, Rusev tags in and he double teams Kingston with English for a near fall. Rusev holds Kingston down while applying a front headlock, Rusev puts Kingston on the top rope and he follows him up there. Kingston gets Rusev off the ropes before landing a tornado DDT, English and E get tagged in by their respective opponents.
E nails English with a series of overhead release suplexes, E follows that up by crushing English with a splash. Rusev tags in and he drops E with a few clotheslines, Rusev then hits E with a shoulder tackle followed by a spin kick. Rusev hits E with a head kick for a near fall, E avoids a few moves from Rusev before sending him to the ring apron. English tags in as E nails Rusev with a spear that sends both to the arena floor, English nails E with an inverted DDT for a near fall. English goes up to the top rope and he misses a swanton bomb, Kingston tags in and New Day hits English with an assisted double stomp for a near fall. English avoids Trouble In Paradise as Rusev tags in, Rusev picks up Kingston and Kingston sends him out of the ring.
E propels Kingston out of the ring and Rusev kicks him in the head, English then takes out Kingston on the arena floor. English tags in as Rusev misses a splash, English hits Kingston with a top rope frog splash for a near fall. English applies the Accolade to Kingston as Rusev kicks E, Kingston gets free and he sends an interfering Rusev out of the ring. Kingston nails English with Trouble In Paradise for the three count.
Winners: The New Day (Big E & Kofi Kingston) w/Xavier Woods, still the Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions
- Booker T is back on the panel, replacing David Otunga.
- Mick Foley is interviewed backstage, Foley admits that its an emotional night, Foley says he has the best seat in the house for the main event. Acting Raw GM Corbin arrives and he makes sure Foley is ready for tonight, Foley offers Corbin some GM tips and Corbin refuses to listen.
- A video package airs highlighting the feud between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman, followed by comments from the panel.
Hell in a Cell Match
Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton
The match begins with Hardy jumping Orton as the bell sounds and Orton quickly fights back, Orton gets Hardy to the ring apron before sending him into the cell wall. Orton follows Hardy out of the ring and Hardy sends him into the cell wall a few times, Hardy finds a table under the ring and he gets it in the ring. Orton returns and he drops a charging Hardy with a clothesline, Orton tries getting the table out of the ring and Hardy drop kicks it at him. Hardy goes back under the ring and he finds a ladder, Hardy picks up the ladder and he attacks Orton with it. Orton finds a chair and he nails Hardy with it, Orton follows that up by sending Hardy into the cage wall. Orton sets the chair up on the arena floor and Hardy sends him into the cell wall, Hardy propels himself off the chair to send himself and Orton into the cage wall.
Hardy gets Orton in the ring and he nails him with a mule kick, Hardy keeps Orton cornered while nailing him with a slingshot drop kick for a near fall. Hardy goes to the top rope and Orton nails him with a few strikes to prevent a leap off, Orton follows Hardy up the ropes and he takes him down with a superplex for a near fall. Hardy fights back and he nails Orton with a Whisper In The Wind for a near fall, Hardy finds another ladder and he sets it up upside down on the arena floor. Hardy drags Orton out of the ring and Orton reverses a suplex to send Hardy through the upside down ladder, Orton gets Hardy in the ring for a near fall on a pin attempt. Orton grabs the steel chair and he attacks Hardy with it, Orton rips the shirt off of Hardy before attacking him with more chair shots. Orton then grabs a belt and he whips Hardy with it for a near fall, Orton then scrapes the face of Hardy on his boot.
Orton gets a second ladder and he puts Hardy in the middle of it, Orton traps Hardy in the ladder while stomping away on him before getting another near fall. Hardy fights back and he drops Orton with a clothesline, Hardy then hits Orton with an atomic drop followed by a leg drop and drop kick for a near fall. Hardy goes for a Twist Of Fate and Orton counters with a power slam for a near fall, Orton dumps a tool boxes contents out and he brings a screw driver into the ring. Orton holds Hardy down and he wants to stab him in the ear with the screw driver, Orton puts the screw driver through the ear lobe of Hardy while twisting it. Hardy fights back and he kicks Orton right in the balls, Hardy finds the belt and he whips Orton with it.
Hardy then finds the steel chair and he attacks Orton with it for a near fall, Hardy goes to the top rope and Orton crotches him to send him crashing to the mat below. Orton follows that up by nailing Hardy with a rope assisted DDT, Orton goes for the RKO and Hardy blocks it to land a Twist Of Fate. Hardy then puts a chair on Orton before going to the top rope, Hardy hits Orton with a swanton bomb for a near fall. Hardy finds another ladder and he brings it in the ring, Hardy then finds a table and he sets it up alongside two ladders. Hardy then hits Orton with a second Twist Of fate before putting him on the table, Hardy climbs one ladder and he clibs to the ceiling of the cell. Hardy lets go from the ceiling and he crashes through the table as Orton gets out of the way, Orton pins Hardy for the three count.
Winner: Randy Orton
After the match, EMT’s come to ringside to tend to an injured Jeff Hardy.
- Charly Caruso interviews AJ Styles, who says he cannot wait for his match with Samoa Joe due to all the stuff Joe said about his family.
SmackDown Women's Championship
Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Becky Lynch
The match begins with Lynch scoring a takedown on Flair, Lynch controls Flair on the ground with a front headlock. Flair gets up before scoring a takedown on Lynch and applying a front headlock, Lynch gets Flair down again and she wrenches away on her arm. Flair gets free and Lynch drops her with a shoulder tackle, Lynch and Flair both go for their submission holds. Lynch regains control by wrenching away on the arm of Flair, Flair gets free and she twists away on the leg of Lynch. Lynch gets free and she backs Flair into the corner with a hair pull, Flair gets free to land shoulder thrusts into the midsection of Lynch. Lynch avoids a charging Flair and Flair crashes into the ring post, Lynch knocks Flair to the arena floor and she quickly gets her back in the ring for a near fall.
Lynch then sends Flair face first to the mat below, Lynch traps one arm of Flair before pulling back on the second arm. Lynch traps the arm of Flair in the ropes while twisting away on it, Flair fights back and Lynch drops her with a flying forearm strike. Lynch holds Flair down while wrenching away on her arm again, Lynch briefly goes for a bridging submission against Flair. Flair gets free and she attacks Lynch with some chops, Lynch recovers and she drops Flair with a clothesline. Lynch then hits Flair with a series of leg drops and elbow drops, Lynch misses a leg drop and Flair sends her face first into the canvas. Lynch recovers and drops Flair arm first on the top rope, Flair recovers and she knocks Lynch to the arena floor. Flair follows that up by nailing Lynch with a baseball slide drop kick, Lynch and Flair battle on the ring apron by exchanging blows until Lynch sends Flair shoulder first into the ring apron for a near fall.
Flair fights back and she drops Lynch with a back suplex, both competitors get up and have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Lynch nails Flair with a spin kick to the midsection, Flair fights back and she kicks Lynch right in the face. Flair goes to the top rope and Lynch avoids her moonsault attempt, Lynch applies the arm bar to Flair and transitions to a triangle choke. Flair gets free by landing a power bomb for a near fall, Lynch and Flair have another striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Lynch ends the exchange by nailing Flair with an arm trapped inverted DDT for a near fall, Lynch goes to the top rope and Flair catches her when she leaps off. Flair quickly applies the Boston crab and Lynch gets to the ropes, Lynch causes Flair to crash backwards into the turnbuckle. Lynch then smashes the injure shoulder of Flair into the ring post, Flair goes for a roll up and Lynch counters with a Disarmer.
Flair gets to the ropes and falls out of the ring, Lynch gets Flair in the ring and Flair goes for a spear after landing a few strikes. Lynch counters the spear into a roll up for the three count.
Winner: Becky Lynch, your new Smackdown Live Women’s Champion
- The New Day are shown celebrating their win backstage when their butler walks in handing them champagne, Big E announces that The New Day will defend the Smackdown Live Tag Team Titles against The Bar at WWE Super Show-Down.
Raw Tag Team Championships
The Dogs Of War (Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre) (c) vs. The Shield (Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose)
The match begins with Rollins doing some work on the arm of Ziggler, Ziggler looks for a headlock and Rollins quickly gets free. Rollins gets Ziggler down with a headlock and Ziggler quickly gets free, Ziggler gets control early by kicking Rollins in the midsection. Rollins corners Ziggler and Ambrose tags into the match, The Shield double team Ziggler for a near fall. The Shield continue double teaming Ziggler by landing a wishbone, Rollins tags back in and he misses a curb stomp attempt. McIntyre tags in and he quickly drops Rollins with a shoulder tackle, Ambrose tags in and he drops a charging McIntyre with a drop kick to the knee. Ambrose keeps McIntyre on his knees while landing cross face strikes, Ziggler distracts Ambrose and that allows McIntyre to get control.
McIntyre traps Ambrose in the corner while landing some chops, Ziggler tags in and he rakes Ambrose’s face along the top rope. Ziggler holds Ambrose down while applying a chin lock, Ambrose gets free and Ziggler quickly cracks him with a right. Ambrose recovers and he drops Ziggler on the top rope, Rollins tags in and he quickly cleans house against the opposing team. Rollins knocks McIntyre to the arena floor after nailing Ziggler with a sling blade, Rollins then knocks Ziggler out of the ring with a spin kick. Rollins looks for a dive and McIntyre distracts him so Ziggler can land a DDT for a near fall, McIntyre tags in and he attacks Rollins with a plethora of strikes. Ziggler tags in and he attacks Rollins with more strikes before choking him on the middle rope, McIntyre tags in and he stomps on the hands of Rollins.
McIntyre holds Rollins down while wrenching away on his arm, Rollins gets free and McIntyre drops him with some strikes. Ziggler tags in and he nails Rollins with an elbow drop for a near fall, Rollins fights back and Ziggler quickly applies the sleeper hold. Rollins gets free and he drops Ziggler with a back suplex, McIntyre tags in and Rollins quickly sends him out of the ring. McIntyre prevents a Rollins tag before nailing Rollins with an inverted Alabama slam for a near fall, Rollins fights back again and a referee distraction prevents another Rollins tag. Ziggler tags in and he nails a cornered Rollins with more strikes, Ziggler gets Rollins on the top rope and he follows him up there. Rollins knocks Ziggler off the ropes a few times, McIntyre tags in and Rollins quickly nails him with a blockbuster. Ambrose tags in and he quickly cleans house against the opposing team, Ambrose then drops a swinging McIntyre with a clothesline.
Ambrose goes for Dirty Deeds and instead rolls up McIntyre for a near fall, Ambrose drops McIntyre again for another near fall. Ambrose goes to the top rope and Ziggler distracts him so McIntyre can knock Ambrose to the arena floor, Ambrose then throws McIntyre into the ring post and Ziggler into the barricade. Ambrose goes back to the top rope and McIntyre catches him as he lept off to propel Ambrose into the corner, Rollins and Ziggler get tagged in by their respective partner. Rollins knocks Ziggler out of the ring and he goes for a suicide dive, Rollins gets caught and Ambrose takes everybody out with his own suicide dive. Rollins and Ziggler battle back into the ring as Rollins lands a falcon arrow for a near fall, Rollins goes for the curb stomp and Ziggler avoids it. Ziggler goes for a fame asser and Rollins counters with a buckle bomb for a near fall, Rollins and Ziggler exchange near falls until Ziggler lands a Zig Zag for a near fall.
McIntyre tags in and he eats a super kick from Rollins as Ambrose interferes, Rollins nails McIntyre with a second super kick and he lands a frog splash for a near fall. Ambrose tags in and he gets McIntyre on the top rope with Rollins, The Shield look for a double superplex and Ziggler gets Rollins off the ropes. Rollins gets Ziggler out of the ring before missing a dive, McIntyre gets Ambrose off the ropes before landing a flying clothesline. Ziggler tags in and he goes to the top rope as Ambrose fights them both off, Rollins tags in as Ambrose and McIntyre battle out of the ring, McIntyre nails Rollins with a Claymore Kick from out of nowhere and Ziggler gets the three count.
Winners: The Dogs Of War (Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre) , still the Raw Tag Team Champions
- Mick Foley approaches Braun Strowman in the locker room, Strowman tells him to make the three count so he can win the championship tonight.
WWE Championship
AJ Styles (c) vs. Samoa Joe
The match begins with Styles immediately attacking Joe with a plethora of strikes, Joe backs Styles into the corner while landing strikes of his own. Styles fights back and he knocks Joe out of the ring with a drop kick, Styles follows Joe out of the ring and he nails him with a knee strike. Styles follows that attack by sending Joe into the announce table, Styles gets back in the ring before sending Joe back into the announce table with a drop kick. Styles gets Joe in the ring and Joe avoids a Phenomenal Forearm attempt, Styles goes for a dive and Joe kicks him in the knee. Joe then drops Styles with a running kick to the face, Joe follows that up by sending Styles into the ring steps. Joe gets Styles in the ring for a near fall on a pin attempt, Joe picks up Styles so he can attack him with more strikes.
Styles tries fighting back and Joe quickly drops him with a leg sweep, Joe traps Styles in the corner and he tries crushing his face before landing a running knee strike. Styles fights back and he attacks Joe with leg kicks and forearm strikes, Joe fights back and he drops a cornered Styles with an enzaguri to the face. Joe knocks Styles out of the ring before taking him out with a suicide dive, Joe gets Styles back in the ring before getting a near fall on a pin attempt. Joe holds Styles down while twisting away on his head, Styles gets free and Joe destroys him with a pounce for a near fall. Joe holds Styles down again while applying a modified chin lock, Joe releases the hold and he gets Styles on the top rope before following him up there. Styles gets free and he causes Joe to crash face first on the top turnbuckle, Styles then attacks Joe with a series of strikes.
Styles drops Joe before landing a diving forearm strike for a near fall, Joe fights back and Styles nails him with a reverse DDT for a near fall. Styles goes for a middle rope moonsault and Joe gets his knees up, Joe hits Styles with a power bomb before applying an STF. Joe then transitions into the cross face against Styles, Styles gets to the ropes to break up the submissions. Joe traps Styles in the corner while attacking him with headbutts, Joe misses a charge into the corner and Styles attacks him with some strikes. Styles then hits Joe with a torture rack bomb for a near fall, Styles follows up by landing a springboard 450 splash for a near fall. Styles goes for a Styles Clash and Joe sends him into the corner before landing a lariat for a near fall, Joe gets Styles on the top rope and he goes for a muscle buster.
Styles escapes and Joe manages to kick him in the head, Styles fights back again and Joe nails him with an enzaguri. Styles avoids a clothesline from Joe before landing a pele kick to his head, Joe knocks Styles to the ring apron and Styles goes for a Phenomenal Forearm. Joe counters by catching Styles and applying the choke, Styles counters into a pinning combination for a three count.
Winner: AJ Styles, still the WWE Champion
After the match, Samoa Joe says AJ Styles tapped and Styles attacks Joe as he celebrates with the title belt.
- Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey is shown warming up with Natalya at her side.
- Charly Caruso interviews The Miz & Maryse, Miz disputes the fact that they have been antagonizing Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan, Maryse says she can hit Brie back and she will tonight.
Daniel Bryan & Brie Bella vs. The Miz & Maryse
The match begins with Maryse immediately tagging Miz in to avoid Bella, Maryse distracts Bryan so Miz can gain control of the match. Miz corners Bryan before nailing him with a plethora of strikes, Bryan fights back and he drops Miz with a clothesline. Bryan traps Miz in the corner while landing some strikes, Bryan goes for the Yes Lock and Miz escapes to the arena floor. Bella tags in and Maryse immediately tags Miz to get out of the ring, Miz goes for a kick and Bryan counters with a dragon screw leg whip. Miz recovers and he drops Bryan with a knee lift to the midsection, Miz then hits a cornered Bryan with some running drop kicks. Miz then hits a still cornered Bryan with a running clothesline, Miz goes to the top rope and Bryan crotches him before landing a few strikes.
Bryan follows Miz to the top rope before taking him down with a hurricarana, Bryan misses a running knee strike and instead gets Miz in the Yes Lock. Maryse breaks the submission up and Bella chases her all over the place, Bryan catches Miz in a roll up for a near fall. Bryan traps Miz in the corner before landing Res Kicks and running drop kicks, Bryan misses the final drop kick and he crashes into the corner. Miz holds Bryan down while ripping away at his face, Miz then applies the chin lock to a downed Bryan. Bryan gets free and Miz still hits him with a neck breaker for a near fall, Miz reapplies a chin lock to a downed Bryan. Miz corners Bryan before landing a bunch of It Kicks, Miz places Bryan on the top rope and he follows him up there. Miz looks for a superplex and Bryan fights back to knocks Miz off the ropes, Bryan goes for a diving headbutt and Miz gets out of the way.
Bryan looks for a tag and Miz prevents that by landing some strikes, Bryan recovers and he propels a charging Miz out of the ring. Bella tags in and she goes right after Maryse, Miz gets in Bella’s way and Bella attacks him with strikes before going after Maryse on the arena floor. Bella bashes the haed of Maryse on the announce table a few times, Bryan and Miz continue their battle on the arena floor. Miz recovers and he sends a charging Bryan into the barricade, Bella and Maryse continue battling in the ring as Bella lands a missile drop kick for a near fall. Miz goes after Bella and Bryan attacks him, Bella and Bryan attack Miz and Maryse with some Yes Kicks. Maryse and Miz eventually roll out of the ring before trying to leave the ringside area, Bella gets Maryse back in the ring while Bryan and Miz battle on the arena floor.
Bella then hits Maryse with a running knee strike to the face, Bella tries rolling up Maryse and Maryse catches her in a roll up for the three count.
Winners: The Miz & Maryse
RAW Women's Championship
Ronda Rousey (c) w/Natalya vs. Alexa Bliss w/Mickie James & Alicia Fox
The match begins with Rousey taking Bliss down with a judo throw, Rousey applies a headlock to Bliss and then takes her down with a firemans carry takedown. Rousey catches Bliss in a few pinning combinations for a few near falls, Bliss shoves Rousey and Rousey drops her with a right. Bliss recovers and she kicks Rousey in the injured ribs a few times, Rousey fights back and she looks for an arm bar until James distracts her. Rousey tosses Bliss across the ring and James drags Bliss out of the ring to avoid another arm bar attempt, Rousey follows Bliss out of the ring while nailing her with more strikes. Rousey gets Bliss in the ring before sening her back out of the ring and crashing into her friends, Rousey goes after Bliss and she gets her back in the ring. Bliss recovers and pulls Rousey backwards on the ropes, Bliss immediately attacks the injured ribs of Rousey.
Bliss traps Rousey in the corner while landing shoulder thrusts to the injured ribs, Bliss keeps Rousey down while applying a modified abdominal stretch. Rousey gets free and Bliss attacks the injured ribs before shoving Rousey to the mat below, Bliss hits Rousey with a pair of double knee strikes for the near fall. Bliss applies a crossbow stretch to the injured ribs of Rousey, Bliss lets Rousey go and she drags her up to the top rope. Rousey goes for a superplex and Bliss attacks her injured ribs, Bliss gets free and she hangs Rousey upside down in ropes before landing a strike for a near fall. Bliss holds Rousey down before landing a basement drop kick, Bliss then throws Rousey ribs first into the bottom turnbuckle. Bliss then crushes Rousey’s ribs into the ring post, James and Fox interfere by attacking Rousey.
Natalya grabs Fox and she hits her with a suplex on the arena floor, Rousey then throws James into the ring post. Rousey and Bliss crash into each other as both attempt cross body blocks, Rousey shocks Bliss with a roll up for a few near falls. Bliss recovers and she kicks Rousey in the injured rib cage, Bliss attacks the injured ribs of Rousey with a series of strikes. Rousey gets angry and she hits Bliss with a gut wrench power bomb, Rousey grabs Bliss and she hits her with a ton of strikes. Bliss recovers and she kicks a charging Rousey in the rib cage, Rousey recovers and she hits Bliss with a slam. Rousey goes for the arm bar and Bliss taps out.
Winner: Ronda Rousey w/Natalya, still the Raw Women’s Champion
- Samoa Joe is complaining to the referee and Paige about what happened in the title match, Paige says Joe gets a rematch with AJ Styles at WWE Super Show-Down. Joe says he wants a No DQ, No Count Out Match and Paige agrees.

Roman Reigns (c) vs. Braun Strowman
The match begins with Strowman taking the title from Reigns and Reigns quickly attacks him, Strowman corners Reigns before landing an avalanche. Reigns fights back and Strowman sends him into the ring post, Strowman then sends Reigns into the cell wall. Strowman continues attacking Reigns and he throws him into the cell wall more, Strowman then gets Reigns in the ring and the two have a brief striking exchange. Reigns uses a flying clothesline to knock Strowman out of the ring, Strowman recovers and he uses a shoulder tackle to knock Reigns into the cell wall. Strowman smashes Reigns face on the ring apron before sending him into the ring steps, Strowman looks to hit Reigns with the ring steps and Reigns stops him from doing so.
Strowman recovers and he choke slams Reigns on the ring apron, Strowman goes under the ring and he finds a bunch of weapons. Reigns finds a kendo stick and he attacks Strowman with it, Reigns gets Strowman in the ring and he attacks him with a steel chair. Strowman tries fighting back and Reigns sends him charging into the ring post, Reigns then hits Strowman with a DDT on a steel chair for a near fall. Reigns attacks Strowman with a few superman punches, Strowman counters a third superman punch with a choke slam for a near fall. Strowman argues with Foley as he thinks that count was a three, Strowman charges at Reigns and Reigns nails him with another superman punch for a near fall. Strowman rolls out of the ring and Reigns finds a table that he places in the ring. Reigns charges at Strowman and Strowman attacks him with the ring steps, Strowman then throws the ring steps into the ring.
Strowman waits for Reigns to get back in the ring before hitting him with the ring steps for a near fall, Strowman keeps Reigns down while attacking him with the ring steps again. Strowman nails Reigns with a running power slam for another near fall, Strowman then sets up a table in the corner of the ring. Reigns escapes a power slam to hit Strowman with multiple superman punches, Reigns then hits Strowman with a spear through the table for a near fall. Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre come out and they brawl with the other members of The Shield, the brawl between both teams spills to the announce area. Ziggler climbs the cell and Rollins goes after him until both are on top of the cell, Ziggler and Rollins battle on top of the cell. McIntyre follows them up the cell as Ambrose got taken out, McIntyre and Ziggler work over Rollins as Ambrose clims the cell to even the odds.
Ambrose brings a kendo stick with him and he attacks McIntyre and Ziggler with it, everybody on the cell eventually take each other out. Ziggler starts climbing down the cell and Rollins follows him, Rollins and Ziggler battle on the side of the cell until both fall off the cell and go through announce tables. Brock Lesnar makes his way to the ring with Paul Heyman and Lesnar breaks into the cell, Heyman grabs spray and he sprays it into the eyes of Foley. Lesnar grabs a piece of a broken table and he attacks Reigns and Strowman with it, Lesnar then hits Strowman with an F-5. Lesnar also nails Reigns with an F-5 a short time later, a new referee comes to the ring and he waves the match off.
