-We open the show with an announcement and footage that Brian Pillman Jr. has been attacked by Injustice and may not be able to face Timothy Thatcher later tonight.

The Von Erichs (c) vs The Filthy Squad (Former Spirit Squad)

The Von Erichs go right after FS and hit a double dropkick before FS focus on the injured knee of Marshall. Ross then gets the tag and drops both of his opponents before the Von Erichs hit a combination belly to back suplex with a claw for the pin and the win.

Winner: The Von Erichs retain their MLW World Tag Team Championships by defeating the Filthy Squad via pinfall.

-After the match Rip from last week tries to attack the Von Erichs and he and the Filthy Squad are dispatched with ease.

-We get an update on Brian Pillman Jr. that he's been seen by medical staff before we go to the Von Erichs backstage who are immediately attacked by Tom Lawlor as we go to commercial.

-We come back to a promo by Injustice before we get a video package for Jimmy Havoc and Mance Warner in a Barbed Wire match at Zero Hour before we get the announcement of Fightland on February 1st in Philadelphia and the debut of Killer Kross as well as the return of LA Park and Jacob Fatu will put his MLW World Heavyweight Championship on the line against CIMA.

-We get a vignette for Erick Stevens who will be debuting soon before we get an update on Brian who comes out of the locker room and says he's going to face Timothy Thatcher even if he has a separated shoulder.

-We get a promo by Contra Unit before Konnan comes out to the ring and introduces Gino Medina who is the son of El Sanguinario who was in Los Gringos Locos with himself, Eddie Guerrero and Art Barr among others, so they have a history together. Salina de la Renta then comes out to the ring before they're interrupted by The Dynasty and Gino sides with Dynasty and attacks Konnan.

2019 Opera Cup Semifinal Match

Brian Pillman Jr. vs Timothy Thatcher

Brian immediately hits a shotgun dropkick and chops in the corner before driving Tim into the corner. Tim focuses on the neck of Brian before going for a double wrist lock and transitioning into an armbar. Tim locks in a single leg Boston crab before transitioning into a bow and arrow and focusing on joint manipulation. Brian counters Tim and falls on top of him for two before dropping him with a kick and chopping him across the chest. Brian clotheslines Tim and hits him with forearms before hitting a powerslam for two before Tim drives Brian into the corner.

Tim hits Brian with clubbing blows before hitting a diving cross body and Tim counters the Dire Promise into a butterfly suplex for two. Brian then counters an armbar into a roll up for the pin and the win.

Winner: Brian Pillman Jr. defeats Timothy Thatcher via pinfall to advance to the finals of the 2019 Opera Cup where he will face his tag partner Davey Boy Smith Jr.
