The match begins with some chain wrestling between Uemura and Connors, Uemura starts working over the arm of Connors. Connors trips up Uemura while pulling back on his legs, Connors transitions to an STF against Uemura. Uemura gets up and Connors gets him down with a headlock, Uemura gets free and he gets Connors in a head scissors. Connors gets free and Uemura gets him in a headlock, Connors gets free and he nails Uemura with a chop. Uemura scores a takedown on Connors before wrenching away on his arm, Uemura releases the hold and he nails Connors with a chop. Connors attacks Uemura with a few strikes before dropping him and stomping away on him, Uemura gets up and a striking exchange breaks out. Uemura ends the exchange by nailing Connors with a slam for a near fall, Uemura follows up by nailing Connors with a hip toss. Uemura then nails Connors with a snap mare before applying a chin lock, Connors gets free and he levels Uemura with a drop kick. Connors gets Uemura in the Boston crab and Uemura gets to the ropes to break it, Connors then stomps away on a downed Uemura. Uemura fights back and he levels Connors with a few strikes, a striking exchange takes place until Uemura scores a takedown on Connors. Uemura takes Connors down again with an arm drag, Uemura then hits Connors with a double underhook suplex. Uemura gets Connors in the Boston crab and a tap out follows.

Winner: Yuya Uemura

Ren Narita vs. Michael Richards

The match begins with Richards working on the arm of Narita, Narita trips up Richards and he twists away on his ankle. Richards gets up and Narita gets him down again before applying a headlock, Richards gets free and Narita drops him with a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Narita keeps Richards down while applying a chin lock, Narita transitions back to a headlock against Richards. Richards gets free by nailing Narita with a back suplex. Richards then nails a cornered Narita with a clothesline, Richards follows that up by hitting Narita with a back elbow strike and suplex for a near fall. Richards gets Narita in a single leg crab and Narita eventually gets to the ropes to break the hold, Richards escapes a suplex from Narita to nail him with a clothesline for a near fall. Narita recovers and he drills a charging Richards with a drop kick, Narita nails Richards with a northern lights suplex for a three count.

Winner: Ren Narita

Yuji Nagata, Ryusuke Taguchi, Shota Umino & Yota Tsuji vs. Manabu Nakanishi, Toa Henare, Karl Fredericks & Alex Coughlin

The match begins with Tsuji nailing Coughlin with a drop kick, Tsuji and Nakanishi get into a striking exchange a short time later. Coughlin drops a charging Tsuji with a chop, Fredericks and Umino get tagged in by their partners. Umino and Fredericks take turns working over each others arms, Umino then drops Fredericks with a shoulder tackle. Fredericks recovers to nail a charging Umino with a cross body block, Fredericks then nails Umino with a drop kick. Henare tags in and he attacks a cornered Umino with some chops followed by a suplex, Coughlin tags in and he slams Umino for a near fall. Nakanishi tags in and he stomps away on a downed Umino, Umino fights back and Nakanishi drops him with a double thrust strike to the throat. Fredericks tags back in and he slams Umino before missing an elbow drop, Fredericks recovers and he nails Umino with a few strikes. Umino recovers and he nails a charging Fredericks with a drop kick, Taguchi tags in and he hits Fredericks with hip attacks. Taguchi eventually takes out the whole opposition with hip attacks, Nagata tags in and he attacks Nakanishi with some kicks after Nakanishi tagged in. Nakanishi and Nagata have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Nakanishi ends the exchange by nailing Nagata with a clothesline.

Nakanishi drops Nagata with a second clothesline for a near fall, Nakanishi gets Nagata in the Argentine Back Breaker. Nagata gets free and he nails Nakanishi with an exploder suplex, Nagata then gets Nakanishi in the Nagata Lock until Fredericks breaks it up. Tsuji tags in and Henare gets a tag a few moments later, Henare and Tsuji exchange blows until Tsuji nails Henare with a drop kick. Tsuji then hits Henare with a slam before applying a Boston crab, Tsuji releases the hold so he can hit Coughlin with a spear. Tsuji and Henare have another striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Henare then hits Tsuji with a Rampage for a near fall. Henare then hits Tsuji with a Toa Bottom for a three count.

Winners: Manabu Nakanishi, Toa Henare, Karl Fredericks & Alex Coughlin

Chaos (Tomohiro Ishii, Yoshi-Hashi, Sho & Yoh) vs. Bullet Club (Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, Bad Luck Fale & Chase Owens)

The match begins with Chaos jumping Bullet Club before the bell sounded and a brawl between the teams spills all over the place, Sho and Yoh double team Owens in the ring before Fale drops them both. Fale also drops Yoshi-Hashi and Ishii when they enter the ring, the brawl between both teams resumes on the arena floor. Tonga grabs Yoshi-Hashi and he throws him into the ring post, Owens waits for Sho to get in the ring before landing a back elbow strike. Owens gets Sho in a headlock before landing a right, Fale tags in and he stands on the downed Sho. Tonga tags in and he nails Sho with a drop kick, Tonga corners Sho before landing an avalanche for a near fall. Loa tags in and he nails a downed Sho with a slingshot swanton bomb, Ishii interferes and he eats a drop kick from Loa. Sho recovers and he nails a charging Loa with a drop kick, Yoshi-Hashi tags in and he cleans house against the opposing team. Yoshi-Hashi nails Loa with a mule kick before placing him on the top rope to land a drop kick, Tonga interferes and Ishii hits the ring to even the odds. Yoshi-Hashi and Ishii then double team Loa after knocking Tonga out of the ring, Fale hits the ring to drop Yoshi-Hashi and Ishii.

Yoh tags in and he works with Sho to nail Fale with a double drop kick, Owens hits the ring and he gets nailed with a double knee strike from Sho and Yoh. Tonga and Loa come back into the ring to lay out Sho and Yoh, Sho breaks up a Magic Killer attempt by nailing Loa with a spear. Yoh shocks Tonga with a small package for a three count.

Winners: Chaos (Tomohiro Ishii, Yoshi-Hashi, Sho & Yoh)

After the match, Bullet Club attack Yoh before assaulting him with Jado’s kendo stick and a Magic Killer.

Hiroshi Tanahashi, Jushin “Thunder” Liger & Great Bash Heel (Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Homna) vs. Suzuki-Gun (Minoru Suzuki, Zack Sabre Jr., Yoshinobu Kanemaru & Douki)

The match begins with Suzuki-Gun jumping their opponents before the bell and a brawl spills all over the place, Homna drops Kanemaru wit a shoulder block before missing a kokeshi. Homna recovers to slam Kanemaru and land a kokeshi, Tanahashi tags in and Sabre Jr gets a tag as well. Sabre Jr wrenches away on Tanahashi’s arm while eating strikes, Tanahashi then hits Sabre Jr with a cross body block from the middle rope. Tanahashi gets Sabre Jr in an abdominal stretch until Suzuki breaks it up, a second brawl breaks out between both teams and it spills all over the place. Suzuki attacks Liger with pieces of the barricade and chairs, Kanemaru gets Tanahashi in the ring to land a basement drop kick for a near fall. Kanemaru then stomps away on a downed Tanahashi, Suzuki tags in and he wrenches away on the arm of Tanahashi until Liger breaks it up. Suzuki gets angry and he brawls with Liger on the arena floor, Kanemaru and Sabre Jr work over Tanahasi until Suzuki returns. Douki tags in and he attacks Tanahashi with a pipe while the referee is distracted, Sabre Jr tags in and he eats a few strikes from Tanahashi. 

Tanahashi blocks a penalty kick to hit Sabre Jr with a dragon screw leg whip, Makabe and Suzuki get tagged in by their respective partners. Makabe quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Makabe drops Suzuki with a lariat. Liger tags in and he nails a cornered Suzuki with a palm strike, Liger and Suzuki have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Suzuki finds a way to get Liger in a sleeper hold before tagging Douki in, Liger quickly nails Douki with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Liger’s team then quadruple teams a cornered Douki, members of both teams brawl on the arena floor. Liger nails Douki with a palm before getting attacks by Suzuki, Suzuki gets knocked out of the ring. Suzuki returns with a steel chair and he attacks Liger with it to cause a DQ.

Winners: Hiroshi Tanahashi, Jushin “Thunder” Liger & Great Bash Heel (Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Homna), by DQ

After the match, Minoru Suzuki unmasks Jushin “Thunder” Liger. Liger gets the microphone a short time later and he accuses Suzuki of crossing the line, Liger promises revenge against Suzuki. 

Chaos (Kazuchika Okada, Hirooki Goto & Rocky Romero) vs. Los Ingobernables (Sanada, Bushi & Shingo Takagi)

The match begins with Takagi and Goto having a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Takagi and Goto also exchange clotheslines in the corners. Goto eventually drops Takagi with a shoulder tackle, Takagi recovers and drops Goto with a shoulder block. Goto recovers and he drops Takagi with a suplex, Romero tags in and he works with Goto to hit Takagi with a double shoulder tackle. Romero traps Takagi in the corner while landing a few strikes, Bushi interferes and Romero knocks him out of the ring. Takagi holds onto Romero during a rana attempt so Sanada can land a drop kick on him, Bushi tags in and he attacks the arm of Romero before choking him with his short. Bushi nails Romero with a neck breaker for a near fall, Sanada tags in and he drops Romero before applying the Paradise Lock. Sanada eventually nails Romero with a basement drop kick before tagging Takagi in, Takagi attacks Goto and throws him into the barricade. Takagi gets back in the ring before tagging Sanada in, Romero recovers and he drops Sanada with a rana. Sanada grabs Romero and he gets nailed with a Rewind Kick, Okada tags in and he cleans house against the opposing team.

Okada nails a charging Sanada with a flapjack for a near fall, Sanada recovers and he briefly gets Okada in Skull End. Okada gets free and he nails Sanada with a few strikes, Sanada avoids a Rainmaker to hit Okada with a back suplex. Bushi tags in and he nails Okada with a missile drop kick, Bushi then hits Okada with a DDT for a near fall. Okada is eventually triple teamed by LIJ so Bushi can get a near fall on him, members of both teams battle on the arena floor. Okada avoids MX from Bushi as members from both teams hit the ring to take each other out, Okada drills Sanada with a tombstone pile driver before getting jumped by Bushi. Okada then hits Bushi with a drop kick and top rope elbow drop, Okada nails Bushi with a Rainmaker for a three count.

Winners: Chaos (Kazuchika Okada, Hirooki Goto & Rocky Romero) 

Los Ingobernables (Tetsuya Naito & Evil) vs. Bullet Club (Jay White & Yujiro Takahashi)

The match begins with a brawl breaking out between both teams and it spills all over the place, Naito drops White a few times in the ring before landing a basement drop kick. Naito drops White again before wrenching away on his arm, Evil tags in and he attacks White with some strikes as well. Evil gets White in a headlock before dropping him with a shoulder tackle, Naito tags in and he works with Evil to attack White with a wishbone. Gedo interferes as Naito looks for a combination and White drops Naito neck first on the top rope, White drags Naito to the arena floor before throwing him into the barricade. White grabs Naito and he throws him into a bunch of chairs, Naito beats the count into the ring and White stomps away on him. Takahashi tags in and he drops Naito before landing a few strikes, Takahashi keeps Naito down while landing a few elbow drops for a near fall. Takahashi throws Naito out of the ring so White can throw him into the barricade multiple times, Naito is thrown back in the ring so that Takahashi can get a near fall on him. White tags in and he immediately gets Naito in a chin lock, White misses a charge in the corner and Naito nails him with a rana.

White gets up and Naito drops him with a neck breaker, Evil tags in and he immediately cleans house against the opposing team. Evil corners White before landing a bronco buster for a near fall, White blocks a fisherman buster suplex to drill Evil with a DDT. Takahashi tags in and he kicks Evil right in the face, Takahashi then drops Evil before landing a basement drop kick. Takahashi follows up by nailing Evil with a fisherman buster suplex for a near fall, Evil fights back and White jumps him from behind. White and Takahashi then double team Evil, Takahashi nails Evil with another basement drop kick for a near fall. White and Naito take their battle to the arena floor, Takahashi then hits Evil with a death valley driver for a near fall. Takahashi goes for Pimp Juice and Naito breaks it up, Naito and White take their battle back into the ring. Naito and Evil then double team Takahashi in the ring, Evil nails Takahashi with a lariat for a near fall. Evil then hits Takahashi with Everything Is Evil for a three count.

Winners: Los Ingobernables (Tetsuya Naito & Evil)

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships
Bullet Club (Taiji Ishimori & El Phantasmo) (c) vs. Birds Of Prey (Will Ospreay & Robbie Eagles)

The match begins with Bullet Club double teaming Ospreay after Phantasmo tagged into the match, Ospreay fights back and he knocks Ishimori out of the ring. Eagles returns and he helps Ospreay clear the ring, Eagles and Ospreay then take out their opponents with dives. Ospreay gets Phantasmo back in the ring before working over his arm, Ospreay and Eagles exchange tags while wrenching away on the arm of Phantasmo. Ishimori tags in and he gets his arm wrenched by the opposing team, Eagles tags in and he nails Ishimori in the arm with a top rope double stomp. Ospreay and Eagles double team Ishimori before Eagles gets a near fall on him, Eagles traps Ishimori in the corner while landing some chops. Ishimori fights back and he nails Eagles with a springboard seated senton, Phantasmo tags in and he rakes the back of Eagles. Phantasmo nails Eagles with a suplex before landing a Vader Bomb, Ishimori tags in and he nails Eagles with a double stomp for a near fall. Phantasmo tags in and he nails Eagles with a top rope elbow smash, Phantasmo also rolls up Eagles for a near fall. Phantasmo holds Eagles down while applying a headlock, Eagles gets free and Phantasmo hangs him upside down in the corner.

Phantasmo and Ishimori double team the trapped Eagles, Phantasmo follows that up by choking Eagles multiple times. Phantasmo gets Eagles in a seated position before landing elbow strikes and applying a chin lock, Eagles fights back and he nails Phantasmo with a sliding elbow strike to the back of the head. Ospreay tags in and he cleans house against the opposing team, Ospreay eventually nails Phantasmo with a tornado DDT. Ospreay also nails Ishimori with a handspring enzaguri, Ospreay traps Phantasmo in the corner before landing a super kick for a near fall. Phantasmo fights back and he attacks Ospreay with knee strikes, Phantasmo drops Ospreay with a rana after a series of reversals. Ishimori tags in and he nails Ospreay with a sliding German suplex for a near fall, Phantasmo tags back in and he double teams Ospreay with Ishimori for a near fall. Eagles interferes and is quickly dumped out of the ring, Ospreay fights back against both opponents before double teaming Ishimori with Eagles. Ospreay nails Ishimori with a standing shooting star press for a near fall, Ospreay then hits Ishimori with a hook kick. Ishimori escapes Storm Breaker to eat a Tiger Wall Kick, Ishimori recovers and he levels Ospreay with a lariat.

Phantasmo interferes and he double teams Ospreay with Ishimori, Phantasmo gets Ishimori on his shoulders and eagles takes Ishimori out with a rana. Ospreay and Eagles quickly clear the ring, Ospreay and Eagles follow that up with stereo suicide dives on the opposition. Ospreay gets Ishimori back in the ring to land a springboard forearm strike for a near fall, Eagles tags in and he double teams Ishimori with Ospreay. Eagles and Ospreay go for Red Wing until Phantasmo breaks it all up, Phantasmo gets both opponents out of the corner and they both land on their feet. Ospreay and Eagles hit Ishimori with a sliced bread power bomb for a near fall, Phantasmo and Ospreay have their battle on the arena floor. Ishimori recovers and he nails Eagles with a reverse rana, Eagles and Ishimori have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Ospreay returns and he helps Eagles land a double stomp to the knee of Ishimori, Eagles then hits Ishimori with a springboard drop kick to the knee. Eagles gets Ishimori in the Ron Miller Special and he eventually releases the hold, Ospreay then hits Ishimori with a springboard 450 splash. Eagles reapplies the Ron Miller Special and Phantasmo breaks it up by dropping Ospreay onto Eagles, Phantasmo tags into the match and he attacks Eagles with some kicks. Eagles fights back and he nails Phantasmo with a plethora of chops followed by stomps, Phantasmo recovers and he knocks Ospreay off the ring apron. Phantasmo drops eagles before landing a springboard moonsault, Phantasmo then takes out Ospreay with a suicide dive. 

Phantasmo then takes out Ospreay with a moonsault that sends both crashing to the arena floor, Phantasmo goes for a springboard splash on Eagles and he gets his knees up. Eagles then nails Phantasmo with a series of kicks and a tornado DDT for a near fall, Eagles goes to the top rope and he nails Phantasmo with a 450 splash to the leg. Ishimori hits Eagles with a title belt while the ref was distracted and Phantasmo rolls him up for a near fall, Phantasmo then hits Eagles with a tornado neck breaker for a near fall. Ospreay and Ishimori battle in the ring before getting double teamed, Phantasmo and Ishimori hit Ospreay with an assisted Bloody Cross. Ishimori then nails Eagles with a Bloody Cross, Phantasmo hits Eagles with a CR2 for a three count.

Winners: Bullet Club (Taiji Ishimori & El Phantasmo), still the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions

IWGP Heavyweight Title Shot Contract On The Line
Kota Ibushi (Rights Holder) vs. Kenta

The match begins with Kenta kicking Ibushi in the head the moment he entered the ring, Kenta grabs the briefcase and he hits Ibushi in the face with it. Kenta gets the contract out of the case before destroying the case, Kenta gets the microphone to say the case belongs to him now. The referee never rang the bell to start the match and Kenta starts arguing with him, the medical staff hits the ring to check on the downed Ibushi. Ibushi gets up and he wants to continue on and the ref rings the bell, Kenta immediately nails Ibushi with a Psycho Knee for a near fall. Kenta then dumps Ibushi out of the ring and he follows hm out there, Kenta throws Ibushi into the barricade a few times. Ibushi beats the count into the ring and Kenta throws him back out of it, Kenta again throws Ibushi into the barricade before kicking him in the head. Kenta drags Ibushi into the crowd before landing a DDT to the arena floor, Kenta drags Ibushi back into the ring before landing a rope assisted DDT for a near fall. Kenta then stomps on the head of a downed Ibushi, Ibushi starts fighting back and Kenta levels him with more kicks. 

Kenta then drops Ibushi with a back elbow strike for a near fall, Kenta slows things down further by holding Ibushi in a chin lock. Kenta releases the hold to nail Ibushi with multiple knee drops, Ibushi fights back and he nails a charging Kenta with a drop kick. Ibushi then hits Kenta with a power slam and a middle rope moonsault for a near fall, Kenta rolls out of the ring and Ibushi takes him out with a dive. Ibushi gets Kenta back into the ring before eating a knee lift, Kenta and Ibushi then exchange some kicks to the back. Ibushi and Kenta have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Ibushi and Kenta simultaneously drop each other with head kicks. Ibushi gets up and he knocks Kenta out of the ring with a rana, Ibushi goes for the Golden Triangle and Kenta trips him up. Kenta then smashes the leg of Ibushi into the ring post a few times, Kenta also traps the leg of Ibushi in the barricade while kicking away at it. Kenta grabs a chair and he nails Ibushi in the injured leg with it, Kenta also drops Ibushi knee first on the English broadcast table. Kenta gets Ibushi back in the ring before smashing his knee on the mat below, Kenta then nails Ibushi with a dragon screw leg whip.

Kenta follows that up by applying a heel hook to a downed Ibushi, Kenta releases the hold to hit Ibushi with another dragon screw leg whip. Kenta then reapplies the heel hook to a downed Ibushi, Kenta releases the hold to nail Ibushi with more strikes. Ibushi fights back and he exchanges head kicks with Kenta, Ibushi drops Kenta in the corner before landing a delayed drop kick. Kenta catches the leg of Ibushi and he applies the heel hook again, Kenta releases the hold to drop Ibushi with multiple strikes. Kenta then hits Ibushi with a top rope double stomp for a near fall, Kenta follows that up by applying a figure four leg lock to Ibushi. Ibushi eventually gets to the ropes to break the submission attempt, Kenta looks for a knee strike and Ibushi nails him with a boot to the face followed by a lariat. Ibushi follows up by hitting Kenta with a sit out power bomb for a near fall, Ibushi sets up for a knee strike and Kenta grabs the referee. The G.O.D. interfere and Ibushi quickly drops them, Ibushi then hits Kenta with a knee strike for a near fall. G.O.D. eliminate the referee before hitting Kenta with a Magic Killer, G.O.D. set up fro a super power bomb until Yoshi-Hashi and Tomohiro Ishii make the save.

Ibushi and Kenta have another striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Kenta drops Ibushi and lands a penalty kick afterwards for a near fall. Kenta then drills Ibushi with another knee strike for another near fall, Kenta looks for a Go To Sleep and Ibushi counters with a knee strike. Ibushi follows up with a second knee strike for a near fall, Ibushi follows up with a third knee strike for a three count.

Winner: Kota Ibushi, who keeps the contract

After the match, Evil makes his way to the ring and he challenges Kota Ibushi for the contract before the two come face to face.
