El Desparado Comeback Match
Roppongi 3K (Sho & Yoh) vs. Suzuki-Gun (El Desparado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru)

The match begins with Suzuki-Gun jumping Roppongi 3K before the bell sounds, Desparado works over Yoh in the ring while Kanemaru battles Sho on the arena floor. Roppongi 3K recover to take out both opponents, Sho tags in and he attacks Desparado with some kicks. Sho also cracks Desparado with a series of forearm strikes, Desparado fakes an injury so Kanemaru can drag Sho to the arena floor. Desparado attacks Yoh and throws him into some chairs in the crowd, Kanemaru places Sho on the barricade before nailing him with a leg drop. Kanemaru then throws the hurt Sho into the ring steps, Kanemaru tags in and he nails Sho with a suplex followed by a DDT for a near fall. Desparado tags in and he nails Sho with a neck breaker, Kanemaru tags in and he slams Sho before tagging Desparado back in. Desparado nails Sho with a suplex before tagging Kanemaru in, Kanemaru hits Sho with a reverse DDT for a near fall. Kanemaru then applies the Boston crab to Sho until Sho gets to the ropes, Desparado tags in and he attacks Sho with some strikes. Sho fights back and Desparado rakes his eyes before tagging Kanemaru in, Kanemaru corners Sho before raking his eyes. 

Sho fights back and he drops Kanemaru with a suplex, Yoh tags in and he cleans house against the opposing team. Yoh hits a dazed Kanemaru with a spinning flying forearm strike followed by a head and arm suplex for a near fall, Kanemaru fights back and he nails Yoh with a drop kick to the knee. Desparado tags in and he stomps away on a downed Yoh, Yoh corners Desparado before tagging Sho in. Sho and Yoh double team Desparado before Desparado fights back by throwing strikes, Sho and Yoh then hit Desparado with a double knee strike. Sho and Yoh then hit Desparado with a lung blower/drop kick combination, Kanemaru pulls Yoh out of the ring as Sho drills Desparado with a clothesline. Sho nails Desparado with a dead lift German suplex for a near fall, Sho goes for the Shock Arrow and Desparado shoves him into the ref. Kanemaru then spits some alcohol into the face of Sho, Desparado nails Sho with a right followed by the angel’s wings for a three count.

Winners: Suzuki-Gun (El Desparado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru)

Hiroshi Tanahashi 20th Anniversary Match IV
Hiroshi Tanahashi & Tomoaki Homna vs. Togi Makabe & Toru Yano

The match begins with Tanahashi taking Makabe down with an arm drag, Makabe recovers and Tanahashi trips him before applying a headlock. Makabe gets free and he drops a charging Tanahashi with a shoulder block, Yano tags in and Homna tags in a few moments later. Homna attacks Yano from behind by landing a few strikes, Homna drops Yano with a back elbow strike before landing an elbow drop. Homna slams Yano before getting jumped from behind by Makabe, Tanahashi hits the ring and he slams Makabe before both miss a kokeshi attempt. Makabe and Yano clear the ring before attacking their opponents on the arena floor, Homna gets back in the ring and Yano throws him into the exposed corner. Makabe tags in and he slams Homna before nailing him with a few strikes, Yano tags in and he throws Homna and Tanahashi into the exposed corner. Makabe tags back in and he stomps away on a downed Homna, Homna fights back and Makabe nails him with more strikes. Homna recovers and he drops Makabe with a shoulder block, Tanahashi tags in and he cleans house against the opposing team.

Tanahashi drops makabe and Yano with some dragon screw leg whips, Tanahashi slams Makabe before landing a middle rope swanton bomb for a near fall. Makabe recovers and he drops Tanahashi with a clothesline, Yano tags in and he rakes the eyes of Tanahashi. Tanahashi recovers and he throws Yano into the exposed corner, Tanahashi and Yano exchange some atomic drops. Yano goes for a low blow and Homna prevents it, Homna and Tanahashi then drop Yano with a double suplex before landing a double kokeshi for a near fall. Makabe hits the ring and Tanahashi nails him with a suplex, Homna then hits Makabe with a leaping kokeshi. Yano sends a charging Tanahashi into the exposed corner before rolling him up for a near fall, Tanahashi nails Yano with a sling blade and High Fly Flow for a three count.

Winners: Hiroshi Tanahashi & Tomoaki Homna

Los Ingobernables (Tetsuya Naito & Shingo Takagi) vs. Suzuki-Gun (Douki & Taichi)

The match begins with Taichi immediately tagging Douki in, Douki attacks Naito with a few strikes before eating a few arm drags. Naito sits down and pulls back on the hair of Douki, Takagi tags in and Douki attacks him with chops. Takagi gets angry and he drops Douki with a double chop before landing a knee drop, Douki recovers and he nails Takagi with an enzaguri followed by a clothesline. A brawl breaks out between both teams and it spills to the arena floor, Taichi grabs Naito and he throws him over the barricade. Douki grabs a pipe and he attacks Takagi with it, Taichi finds a chair and he nails Naito with it. Taichi also attacks Takagi with a chair shot to the midsection, Douki waits for Takagi to get in the ring before choking him in the corner. Taichi tags in and he chokes a cornered Takagi, Taichi drops Takagi before wrenching away on his arm. Taichi corners Takagi and he tags Douki back into the match, Douki attacks Takagi with some strikes before being levels by a lariat. Naito and Taichi get tagged in by their respective partners, Taichi and Naito immediately have a striking exchange. 

Naito ends the exchange by landing a rana followed by a basement drop kick, Taichi fights back and he drops Naito with an enzaguri. Naito fights back and Taichi blocks the tornado DDT attempt, Naito recovers and eventually nails Taichi with a tornado DDT. Takagi and Douki are tagged in by their respective partners, Takagi quickly nails Douki with clotheslines and a DDT for a near fall. Douki fights back and Takagi nails him with a Yoshigami for a near fall, Taichi and Naito battle on the arena floor. Takagi nails Douki with a Pumping Bomber, Taichi hits the ring and he attacks Takagi with the microphone stand to cause a DQ.

Winners: Los Ingobernables (Tetsuya Naito & Shingo Takagi), by DQ

After the match, Taichi attacks the referee with the microphone stand before going after both members of Los Ingobernables.

Jushin “Thunder” Liger vs. Minoru Suzuki

The match begins with Liger spitting at Suzuki before falling to his back, Suzuki engaged Liger and they have a grappling session. Suzuki keeps Liger down and he gets him in a kimura until Liger gets to the ropes, Suzuki goes to his back and Liger engages him. Liger rolls for a leg lock and he winds up getting Suzuki in a triangle choke until Suzuki gets to the ropes, Liger then knocks Suzuki out of the ring with a basement drop kick. Liger follows Suzuki out there before throwing him into the barricade a few times, Liger grabs a chair and the referee takes it from him. Suzuki knocks Liger into the referee before throwing him into the barricade, Suzuki finds another chair and he attacks Liger with it. Suzuki traps the arm of Liger in the barricade while wrenching away on it, Suzuki then looks to rip the mask off of the face of Liger. Liger fights back and Suzuki assaults him with strikes, Suzuki gets in the ring and he attacks Liger as he tries getting back in. Suzuki then gets Liger in the rope assisted arm bar, Liger gets up and Suzuki levels him with a headbutt. Liger fights back and Suzuki kicks him right in the face, Suzuki corners Liger before landing another boot to the face.

Liger blocks a penalty kick before nailing Suzuki with a palm strike, Suzuki fights back and Liger drops him with a palm strike. Suzuki gets up and Liger nails him with a rolling kick, Liger goes for a brain buster and Suzuki escapes to lock him in a sleeper hold. Suzuki releases the hold and Liger gets him in a modified rings of saturn, Suzuki eventually gets to the ropes to break the submission. Liger gets up and he kicks away at the injured arm of Suzuki, Liger keeps his focus on the injured arm of Suzuki. Suzuki escapes the grasp of Liger and he reapplies the sleeper hold, Liger falls to the ground and Suzuki holds the sleeper. Suzuki releases the hold and he goes for the Gotch style pile driver, Liger uses a back body drop to avoid the hold. Liger then hits Suzuki with a Thesz press before landing a brain buster for a near fall, Liger goes for a running palm strike and Suzuki nails him with a drop kick. Suzuki picks up Liger to attack him with a striking combination, Liger fights back and Suzuki nails him with another combination. Suzuki nails Liger with a Gotch style pile driver for a three count.

Winner: Minoru Suzuki

After the match, Minoru Suzuki shows respect to the fallen Jushin "Thunder" Liger. 

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship
Will Ospreay (c) vs. El Phantasmo

The match begins with both competitors sending their cornermen backstage, Ospreay then backs Phantasmo into the corner before taunting him. Phantasmo eventually does the same thing to Ospreay, Phantasmo and Ospreay then go through a series of reversals. A test of strength takes place and both competitors exchange monkey flips while staying connected, the hold is broken and the competitors have a striking exchange. Ospreay grabs his eye as the exchange ends and Phantasmo attacks him a few moments later, Phantasmo backs Ospreay into the ropes while nailing him with a few strikes. Phantasmo then knocks Ospreay out of the ring after landing a rana, Phantasmo follows that up by faking a suicide dive. Ospreay recovers and he nails a mocking Phantasmo with a springboard forearm strike, Phantasmo is knocked out of the ring and Ospreay nails him with a suicide dive. Ospreay grabs Phantasmo and throws him into color commentator Gino Gambino, Gambino distracts Ospreay afterwards so Phantasmo can throw a chair at him. Phantasmo drags Ospreay into the crowd while nailing him with strikes, Phantasmo and Ospreay take their battle to the top of the balcony.

Phantasmo and Ospreay exchange some strikes while on the balcony, Phantasmo rakes the eyes of Ospreay before knocking him off the balcony and to the arena floor below. Phantasmo leaps off the balcony and he lands on Ospreay, Phantasmo grabs Ospreay and he gets him back to the ringside area. Phantasmo gets Ospreay in the ring and he gets a near fall on a pin attempt, Phantasmo follows that up by sending Ospreay face first into the corner. Phantasmo then hangs Ospreay upside down in the corner before landing a basement drop kick, Phantasmo follows that up by standing on the groin of Ospreay. Ospreay fights back and he nails Phantasmo with a release German suplex, Phantasmo goes for a springboard move afterwards and Ospreay counters with a drop kick. Ospreay follows that up by nailing Phantasmo with a handspring enzaguri,Ospreay nails Phantasmo with a series of splashes for a near fall. Ospreay looks for a Storm Breaker and Phantasmo blocks it from happening, Ospreay goes to the top rope and Phantasmo kicks him in the face.

Phantasmo meets Ospreay on the top rope before landing a super rana, Ospreay gets up quickly and Phantasmo nails him with an enzaguri. Phantasmo goes for a suplex and Ospreay counters with a stunner, Ospreay goes for an Os Cutter and Phantasmo counters with an airplane spin slam. Ospreay goes to the ring apron and Phantasmo follows him out there, Phantasmo goes for a pile driver and Ospreay escapes to land a few kicks. Ospreay leaps off the barricade and he nails Phantasmo with a cutter on the arena floor, Phantasmo gets in the ring and Ospreay nails him with a springboard drop kick. Ospreay then hits Phantasmo with a shooting star press for a near fall, Ospreay follows up with a Robinson Special and Os Cutter for a near fall as Taiji ishimori pulls the referee out of the ring. Ishimori attacks Ospreay before grabbing the junior heavyweight title belt, Robbie Eagles comes out and he attacks Ishimori. Phantasmo grabs the title belt and Ospreay nails him with a hook kick, Ospreay misses the Hidden Blade before Phantasmo nails him with a low blow and the title belt. Phantasmo then nails Ospreay with a top rope splash for a near fall, Phantasmo traps Ospreay in the ropes before landing a super kick.

Phantasmo follows Ospreay to the top rope and he lands a super inverted TKO for a near fall, Phantasmo goes for a CR2 and he transitions to a Styles Clash for another near fall. Phantasmo then attacks Ospreay with a V Trigger, Phantasmo sets up for a One Winged Angel and Ospreay rolls him up for a near fall. Ospreay then eats a super kick before nailing Phantasmo with a one man Spanish fly, Phantasmo and Ospreay have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Ospreay nails Phantasmo with a series of kicks to end the exchange, Ospreay catches Phantasmo with a flipping DDT for a near fall. Ospreay goes to the top rope and Phantasmo crotches him by shoving the ref into the ropes, Phantasmo goes to the top rope and they exchange more strikes. Phantasmo goes for a super rana and Ospreay counters with a super power bomb, Ospreay nails Phantasmo with a Hidden Blade and Storm Breaker a three count.

Winner: Will Ospreay, still the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion

Chaos (Hirooki Goto, Yoshi-Hashi & Tomohiro Ishii) vs. Bullet Club (Jay White, Kenta & Yujiro Takahashi)

The match begins with White immediately tagging Kenta into the match, Ishii tags in a few moments later and then Kenta tags Takahashi in. Yoshi-Hashi tags in and Takahashi attacks him with some strikes, Yoshi-Hashi fights back to drop Takahashi with a shoulder tackle and back elbow strike. Yoshi-Hashi follows up by nailing Takahashi with a Head Hunter, Kenta interferes and Yoshi-Hashi drops him. Takahashi drops Yoshi-Hashi on the top rope before a brawl breaks out between both teams, the brawl spills all over the arena. Takahashi grabs Yoshi-Hashi and he throws him into the ring post, Takahashi gets Yoshi-Hashi back into the ring before tagging White in. White slams Yoshi-Hashi multiple times before landing a few chops, Takahashi tags in and he attacks Yoshi-Hashi with a basement drop kick. Kenta tags in and Kenta drops Yoshi-Hashi with a back elbow strike before landing multiple knee drops, Yoshi-Hashi fights back and Kenta nails him with a knee strike. Yoshi-Hashi recovers and he drops Kenta with a suplex, Ishii tags in and he immediately exchanges strikes with Kenta.

Ishii eventually drops Kenta with a shoulder tackle before cornering him and landing chops, Kenta fights back and he nails Ishii with strikes of his own. Kenta then drills a swinging Ishii with a DDT, Ishii gets to a seated position and Kenta kicks him in the back. Ishii gets up and he eventually drops Kenta with a back suplex, Goto and White get tagged in by their respective partners. Goto and White immediately exchange strikes until White is knocked out of the ring, Goto follows White out there to throw him into the barricade. Goto gets White in the ring and he lands a spin kick followed by a Saito suplex for a near fall, Gedo interferes and that allows White to regain control by landing a DDT. Takahashi tags in and he kicks Goto in the face, Takahashi then nails a tripped up Goto with a basement drop kick. Takahashi and Kenta then double team Goto in the ring, Takahashi follows up by nailing Goto with a fisherman buster suplex for a near fall. Everybody from both teams hit the ring and they all take each other out, Takahashi nails Goto with a reverse DDT for a near fall. Goto recovers to hit Takahashi with a ushigoroshi and GTR for a three count.

Winners: Chaos (Hirooki Goto, Yoshi-Hashi & Tomohiro Ishii)

- Lance Archer grabs the microphone before the match to say that it will still be a No DQ Match tonight and Juice Robinson agrees.

Lance Archer vs. Juice Robinson

The match begins with Robinson kicking Archer in the balls before rolling him up for a near fall, Archer goes to the ring apron and Robinson spears him to send them both crashing to the arena floor. Robinson grabs a chair and he attacks Archer with it, Robinson then grabs Archer and he throws him into the barricade. Robinson follows that up by throwing Archer into the ring post, Robinson keeps Archer down while nailing him with strikes. Robinson sets up for a cannonball and Archer kicks him in the face, Archer then nails Robinson with a choke slam through a table. Archer finds a steel chair and he attacks Robinson with it, Archer removes all the turnbuckle pads as Robinson recovers on the arena floor. Archer grabs the chair again and he attacks Robinson with it again, Archer grabs a chair and he sets it up in the corner. Archer also grabs multiple tables and he sets them up in the corners, Archer gets Robinson in the ring and he throws him into a few chairs for a near fall. Archer picks Robinson up before attacking him with strikes, Archer grabs the arm of Robinson before going to the top rope. Robinson trips Archer and crotches him on the top rope, Robinson goes to the top rope and he nails Archer with a superplex for a near fall.

Robinson waits for Archer to get up before attacking him with some jabs, Robinson then drills Archer with the Left Hand Of God. Robinson follows that up by using a cannonball to put Archer through a table for a near fall, Robinson looks for Pulp Friction and Archer blocks it to pounce Robinson through a table. Archer leaves the ring and Robinson does as well, Robinson and Archer throw a bunch of chairs in the ring. They get back into the ring and Archer punches a chair into the face of Robinson, Archer looks for a choke slam and Robinson escapes to land a Juice Box for a near fall. Robinson grabs a bunch of chairs and he stacks them in the middle of the ring, Archer recovers and he nails Robinson with a full nelson slam onto the chairs. Archer grabs Robinson and he places him on the top rope, Archer nails Robinson with a Blackout onto the chairs for a near fall. Archer grabs the head of Robinson before smashing it into the chairs multiple times, Archer applies the EVD Claw and he gets the three count.

Winner: Lance Archer, your new IWGP United States Champion

After the match, David Finlay hits the ring and he nails Lance Archer with a stunner. 

IWGP Heavyweight Title Shot Contract On The Line
Kota Ibushi (Rights Holder) vs. Evil

The match begins with Evil kicking Ibushi in the midsection before applying the headlock, Ibushi gets free and Evil drops him with a shoulder tackle. Ibushi gets up and Evil gets him back in a headlock, Ibushi gets free and he nails Evil with a drop kick. Ibushi gets Evil to his knees before attacking him with a series of kicks, Evil fights back and he knocks Ibushi out of the ring. Evil follows Ibushi out of the ring before throwing him into the barricade a few times, Evil gets Ibushi in the ring before landing a neck breaker for a near fall. Evil holds Ibushi down while pulling back on his arms, Ibushi gets free and both competitors miss their follow up moves. Ibushi gets up and he attacks Evil with a flying mid kick, Ibushi follows that up by nailing Evil with a variety of kicks. Ibushi then hits Evil with a power slam followed by a moonsault for a near fall, Ibushi misses a springboard move and Evil traps him in the ropes before landing a stomp. Evil goes for a bronco buster and Ibushi counters with a double stomp, Evil goes to the ring apron and he breaks the grip up Ibushi to land a rope assisted stunner.

Evil drags Ibushi out of the ring before dropping him with some strikes, Evil wraps a chair around the head of Ibushi before nailing him with another chair. Evil gets Ibushi back into the ring and he nails him with a corner clothesline, Evil places Ibushi on the top rope and he follows him up there to land a superplex for a near fall. Ibushi fights back and he misses a drop kick attempt against Evil, Ibushi fights back again and he drops Evil. Ibushi picks up Evil and he gets him on the top rope, Ibushi follows Evil up the ropes and Evil knocks him to the ring apron. Ibushi recovers to hit Evil with a springboard super rana for a near fall, Evil and Ibushi go back and forth until Evil lands a clothesline for a near fall. Evil then hits Ibushi with Darkness Falls for a near fall, Evil goes for Everything Is Evil and Ibushi counters with a roll up. Ibushi then hits Evil with a package tombstone pile driver, Ibushi follows up with a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Ibushi goes for a running knee strike and Evil counters with a clothesline, Evil crushes Ibushi with a lariat for a near fall. Ibushi recovers and he nails Evil with a straight jacket German suplex for a near fall, Ibushi goes for a knee strike and Evil counters with multiple release German suplexes.

Evil goes for another lariat and Ibushi counters with a clothesline, Ibushi misses a knee strike and the duo exchange some strikes. Ibushi eventually nails Evil with a knee strike for a near fall, Ibushi follows up with a second knee strike for a three count.

Winner: Kota Ibushi

IWGP Heavyweight Championship
Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Sanada

The match begins with Okada and Sanada getting into a striking exchange, Sanada causes Okada to miss multiple drop kicks. Sanada and Okada continuously go through a bunch of reversals, Sanada gets Okada down before wrenching away on his arm. Okada gets free and he does some work on the arm of Sanada, Okada gets Sanada in a headlock before dropping him with a shoulder tackle. Okada then nails Sanada with a neck breaker for a near fall, Okada holds Sanada down while applying a chin lock. Okada releases the hold before knocking Sanada out of the ring with a sliding drop kick, Okada then throws Sanada into the barricade before knocking him over it. Okada looks for a hanging DDT and Sanada escapes to hit him with a hanging neck breaker, Sanada picks up Okada and drops him on top of the barricade. Sanada waits for Okada to get in the ring before landing a suplex for a near fall, Sanada holds Okada down while applying a chin lock. Sanada releases the hold and he nails Okada with a few strikes, Okada avoids a standing moonsault to hit Sanada with a leaping forearm strike.

Okada gets up and he drops Sanada with multiple back elbow strikes, Okada follows up by nailing Sanada with a DDT for a near fall. Sanada makes his way to the ring apron and Okada uses a drop kick to the arena floor, Okada goes out of the ring to knock Sanada over the barricade. Okada leaps over the barricade to send himself and Sanada onto a pile of chairs, Okada waits for Sanada to get back in the ring and a striking exchange breaks out a short time later. Okada leaps off the top rope and Sanada avoids him before landing a drop kick, Okada rolls out of the ring and Sanada nails him with a dive. Sanada gets Okada in the ring and he gets him in the paradise lock, Sanada follows up by landing a basement drop kick for a near fall. Okada avoids a leaping Sanada to nail him with a shotgun drop kick, Okada then nails Sanada with a missile drop kick. Okada follows that up by nailing Sanada with a top rope elbow drop, Okada goes for the Rainmaker and Sanada avoids it before getting rolle dup for a near fall. Sanada and Okada go through a bunch of reversals until Sanada lands a tombstone pile driver, Sanada then hits Okada with a TKO for a near fall.

Sanada locks Okada in the Skull End and Okada eventually gets free after a long struggle, Okada recovers and he nails Sanada with a Rainmaker from out of nowhere for a near fall. Sanada and Okada have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Okada briefly gets Sanada in the Skull End before landing multiple drop kicks, Okada goes for Rainmaker and Sanada counters with Skull End. Sanada releases the hold and he nails Okada with a moonsault, Sanada goes for a second moonsault and Okada gets his knees up. Sanada looks for another Skull End and Okada counters with a tombstone pile driver, Okada goes for the Rainmaker and Sanada kicks away at him. Sanada then rolls up Okada for a near fall, Sanada goes for Skull End and Okada gets free to land a drop kick. Okada nails Sanada with a second drop kick after a few reversals, Okada then nails Sanada with a Michinoku Driver and Rainmaker for a three count.

Winner: Kazuchika Okada, still the IWGP Heavyweight Champion

After the match, Kota Ibushi makes his way to the ring to formally challenge Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight Title at WrestleKingdom and the challenge is accepted.
