Jay Lethal vs. David Finlay
They lock up and exchange wrist locks before Jay takes David down with a Fujiwara armbar which David fights out of and sends Jay out of the ring. Jay takes his time getting back into the ring before hitting a running dropkick and a basement dropkick. David then gets out of the ring to regroup before Jay takes him down once he gets back in and Jay grounds David with a side headlock as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Jay in control before David spears him and locks in an Indian Deathlock before Jay gets to the ropes for his first of three rope breaks. They end up on the apron where the two exchange on the apron until Jay sends David off of the apron and down onto the floor. Jay hits a suicide dive before David gets his knees up when Jay goes for Hail to the King before countering a figure four. Jay then ducks a lariat before hitting the Lethal Injection for the pin and the win.
Winner: Jay Lethal defeats David Finlay via pinfall to advance to the finals of block A of the tournament.
- Vincent comes out to the ring and cuts a promo before Follow The Trend shows up on the big screen and he's attacked by his former partner Matt Taven. Matt then gets a table out from under the ring and lies Vincent on the table before hitting a diving splash onto Vincent through the table.
ROH PURE Title Tournament Block B Semifinal Match
Jonathan Gresham vs Matt Sydal
Jon immediately takes Matt down to the mat before transitioning between submission attempts before Matt gets back to his feet. Matt drops Jon with a roundhouse kick before locking in a heel hook that Jon reverses and goes back to focusing on the knee of Matt. Matt gets back to his feet and dropkicks Jon before getting two off of a crucifix before they roll into the ropes and get separated by the referee as we go to commercial.
We come back to Matt in control, hitting a neckbreaker into a dragon screw and a standing corkscrew moonsault before Jon comes back with a backpack stunner for two. They exchange pin attempts before Matt ducks a superkick into an enzuigiri before Jon locks in a surfboard stretch. Jon then lets go of the arms and holds onto Matt while hyper extending his legs for the tap and the win.
Winner: Jonathan Gresham defeats Matt Sydal via submission to advance to the finals of the B Block of the tournament.
