- Charly Caruso interviews Christian & Ric Flair, with Flair saying that Randy Orton lost a Last Man Standing Match to Edge at ‘Mania 36, but Orton will win tonight since it is a straight up wrestling match. Christian says that Edge was working hard to get back into the ring after a near decade absence, Christian also talks about how Orton used others to fast track himself to the top.

Apollo Crews (c) vs. Andrade w/Zelina Vega & Angel Garza
The match begins with Andrade avoiding a drop kick from Crews, Andrade then gets Crews in a headlock. Crews gets free and Andrade gets him in another headlock, Crews gets free and Andrade gets him in a rope assisted dragon sleeper. Andrade drags Crews out of the ring and Crews back body drops him on the entrance ramp, Andrade gets up and Crews nails him with a moonsault. Crews gets Andrade back in the ring before landing a suplex slam for a near fall, Crews looks for his finisher and Andrade fights back to send him into the middle turnbuckle. Andrade then nails a downed Crews with a running double knee strike for a near fall, Andrade goes to the top rope and Crews attacks him with strikes. Crews meets Andrade on the top rope and Andrade trips him up before hanging him upside down, Andrade misses a double stomp attempt. Crews gets up and he propels a charging Andrade into the corner, Crews then cracks Andrade with strikes and a clothesline. Crews corners Andrade before landing multiple shoulder thrusts, Crews also nails Andrade with an avalanche. Crews follows up by nailing Andrade with a spine buster for a near fall, Crews looks for an Olympic Slam and Andrade gets free before eating a drop kick.
Crews goes to the ring apron and Andrade attacks him with a few strikes, Crews gets Andrade to the ring apron and they exchange some strikes. Andrade gets back in the ring after landing a slingshot DDT for a near fall, Crews fights back and he nails Andrade with a kick to the face. Crews gets Andrade off the ropes to land a press slam, Crews then lands a standing moonsault and standing shooting star press combo. Garza tries interfering and Owens takes care of him, Andrade goes for a hammerlock DDT and Crews counters with a toss power bomb for a three count.
Winner: Apollo Crews, still the WWE United States Champion
- A video package airs highlighting the feud between Jeff Hardy and Sheamus.
- Sheamus is backstage and he talks about what happened with Jeff Hardy on Smackdown, Sheamus says he knows how much pain Hardy is really in. Sheamus says Hardy isn’t the sober person he pretends to be, Sheamus says Hardy will revert back into the depraved human being he was meant to be. Sheamus says he will remind the WWE Universe of who Hardy is tonight.
- The panel previews the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match.
- A video package airs highlighting the feud between Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley, followed by analysis from the panel.
- Kayla Braxton interviews Sasha Banks & Bayley, with Bayley saying that Braxton should introduce them properly. Banks says that their friendship is unstoppable, Bayley says they will stay friends after winning their match tonight.
WWE Women's Tag Team Championship
Triple Threat Match
Bayley & Sasha Banks (c) vs. Billie Kay & Peyton Royce vs. Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross
The match begins with Cross attacking Kay and Bayley before getting dropped, Banks tags in and Bliss tags in to pop her with a right. Everybody from all the teams hit the ring to have a stand off, Royce tags in and she catches Banks in a roll up for a near fall. Banks, Royce and Bliss exchange a bunch of pin attempts for multiple near falls, everybody hits the ring again and a huge brawl breaks out between all the competitors. Bliss gains control before tagging Cross into the match, Cross attacks Banks before eating a spin kick from Royce for a near fall. Bayley interferes and she attacks Royce, Bayley tags in and she attacks Royce again before going after Cross. Kay tags in and she drops Cross for a near fall, Kay and Bayley double team Cross until they turn on each other. Royce looks to interfere and Banks takes care of her, Bayley catches Kay in a roll up for a near fall. Bayley and Banks then hit Kay with an elevated knee strike for a near fall, Bayley then focuses her attack on a cornered Cross. Kay returns to attacks Bayley and Cross, Cross fights back to drop Bayley and Kay.
Bliss and Royce are tagged into the match by their respective partners, Bliss quickly starts cleaning house against the opposition. Banks interferes and Bliss attacks her with strikes, Kay interferes and Bliss nails her with a right. Bayley returns and Bliss attacks her with a lot of strikes, Banks tags in as Bliss gets to the ring apron. Royce does a dive and she takes a bunch of competitors out, Royce and Kay nail Bayley with an elevated knee strike. Banks returns and she gets hit with a Magic Killer from Royce and Kay, Bliss and Cross return to hit Royce with their finisher. Kay and Cross then battle on the arena floor, Bliss goes to the top rope and she hits Royce with Twisted Bliss. Banks returns and she surprises Bliss with a roll up for a three count.
Winners: Bayley & Sasha Banks, still the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions
- A car is shown arriving at the arena earlier today and Braun Strowman is shown getting out of it.
Jeff Hardy vs. Sheamus
The match begins with Sheamus taking Hardy down with a headlock, Hardy gets free and Sheamus backs him into the corner. Sheamus misses a strike and Hardy gets him in a headlock, Sheamus backs Hardy into the corner before landing a few strikes. Hardy fights back and he nails Sheamus with a drop kick to the knee, Hardy keeps Sheamus down while stomping on the injured leg. Hardy then nails a cornered Sheamus with an avalanche, Hardy also decides to choke Sheamus on the middle rope. Sheamus recovers and he blasts Hardy with a clothesline, Sheamus traps Hardy in the ropes while landing a few strikes. Hardy recovers and he gets Sheamus to the ring apron, Hardy knocks Sheamus to the arena floor after landing a drop kick to the knee. Hardy launches himself off the ring steps and onto a rocked Sheamus, Hardy then smashes Sheamus face first into the announce table. Hardy grabs the ring steps and he decides not to use them on Sheamus, Sheamus gets back in the ring and he backs Hardy into the corner before landing elbow strikes. Sheamus then drops Hardy knee first onto the top of the ring post, Sheamus follows up by nailing Hardy with a swinging slam.
Sheamus keeps Hardy down while landing a middle rope knee drop for a near fall, Hardy stays down and Sheamus chokes him. Sheamus then hits Hardy with multiple Irish Curse back breakers for a near fall, Sheamus keeps Hardy down while holding him in a chin lock. Hardy gets free and Sheamus levels him with a knee strike for a near fall, Sheamus reapplies the chin lock to a downed Hardy. Hardy gets free again and he nails Sheamus with a back suplex, Hardy then nails a standing Sheamus with a few strikes. Sheamus recovers and he drops Hardy with a clothesline, Sheamus misses a leap off the top rope and Hardy lands a Whisper In The Wind afterwards for a near fall. Hardy follows up by dropping Sheamus and landing a leg drop, Hardy then hits Sheamus with a basement drop kick for a near fall. Hardy goes for a Twist Of Fate and Sheamus counters with a roll up, Hardy recovers and he nails Sheamus with a mule kick followed by a sling blade. Hardy goes to the top rope and Sheamus attacks him with strikes, Sheamus meets Hardy on the top rope and Hardy knocks him off. Sheamus recovers and he knocks Hardy off the top rope, Sheamus then hits Hardy with White Noise for a near fall.
Sheamus keeps Hardy down while stomping away on him, Sheamus then gets Hardy in the cloverleaf. Hardy eventually gets to the ropes to break the submission attempt, Sheamus keeps Hardy down while kicking away at him. Hardy goes to the ring apron and Hardy attacks him with a ton of upper body strikes, Sheamus gets Hardy back in the ring and Hardy grabs the ropes to prevent further damage, Hardy then sends a charging Sheamus into the ring post. Hardy follows up by nailing Sheamus with a Twist Of Fate and swanton bomb for a near fall, Hardy knocks Sheamus out of the ring. Hardy leaps off the barricade and Sheamus nails him with a Brogue Kick, Sheamus gets Hardy back in the ring before landing a second Brogue Kick for a three count.
Winner: Sheamus
- Kayla Braxton interviews The Miz & John Morrison, Braxton informs them that whoever scores the pin or submission in their title match will become the sole WWE Universal Champion. Miz says that Braun Strowman will not get over losing the title tonight, Otis arrives with Mandy Rose to confront them about some negative things they have said about him recently. Rose and Otis say that he may cash in his Money In The Bank Contract tonight.
WWE Raw Women's Championship
Asuka (c) vs. Nia Jax
The match begins with Asuka attacking Jax with some strikes, Jax fights back and Asuka looks for a few submission attempts. Jax then nails Asuka with a headbutt before eating a boot to the face, Jax goes for a clothesline and Asuka gets her in an octopus stretch. Jax gets free and she levels Asuka with a clothesline, Asuka fights back and she gets run over by Jax. Jax follows up by nailing Asuka with an avalanche before tossing her across the ring, Jax then hits Asuka with a slam for a near fall. Jax traps Asuka in the ropes before pulling back on both arms, Asuka lands a few strikes and Jax plants her with a spine buster for a near fall. Jax keeps Asuka down while applying the cobra clutch to her, Asuka gets free and she goes for a guillotine choke on Jax. Jax gets free and she nails Asuka with a jackhammer for a near fall, Asuka gets angry and she attacks Jax with a plethora of strikes. Jax looks for and misses a seated senton, Asuka then hits a downed Jax with a knee strike for a near fall. Asuka follows up by nailing Jax with a missile drop kick and hip attack for a near fall, Asuka keeps Jax down while attacking her with kicks.
Jax blocks a final kick from landing and she nails Asuka with a sit out power bomb for a near fall, Jax goes for an avalanche and she winds up crashing into the ring post. Asuka goes to the top rope and Jax attacks her with some strikes, Asuka recovers and she drags Jax out of the ring. Asuka then gets Jax into an arm bar while they are out of the ring, Jax gets up and she sends Asuka into the barricade. Asuka nails Jax with a head kick as the referee makes a ten count.
Match Result: Double Count Out, Asuka retains the title
After the match, Asuka attacks Nia Jax with a diving hip attack from the ring apron.
- Lana approaches MVP backstage and she tells MVP that she is the reason that Bobby Lashley is getting the title, MVP tells Lana to talk to Lashley while also saying she is scared to confront him.
- The Miz & John Morrison get on the microphone before the next match begins, they say they are airing their music video for “Hey! Hey Hey” and it gets interrupted by Braun Strowman.
WWE Universal Championship
Braun Strowman (c) vs. John Morrison & The Miz
The match begins with Miz immediately tagging Morrison into the match, Miz attacks Strowman from behind so Morrison can gain control. Miz tags in and he leaves the ring to avoid Strowman, Morrison distracts Strowman and Miz attacks him. Morrison tags in and he works with Miz to hit Strowman with a double drop kick, Morrison goes for a springboard move and Strowman blocks it before landing a right. Miz tags in and he drapes Strowman neck first on the top rope, Miz then attacks Strowman with some strikes. Strowman then kicks Miz across the ring before throwing him into Morrison, Strowman then tosses Miz out of the ring. Strowman chases Miz back into the ring and Morrison nails him with a springboard enziguri to knock him to the arena floor, Morrison then hits Strowman with a suicide dive. Miz waits for Strowman to get back into the ring before nailing him with a head kick, Miz then keeps Strowman down while applying a chin lock. Morrison tags in and he nails Strowman with a chop block followed by strikes, Morrison then nails a downed Strowman with a knee strike. Miz tags in and he works with Morrison to hit Strowman with a double DDT for a near fall, Miz keeps Strowman down while landing some It Kicks.
Strowman starts fighting back and he drops Miz a few times before attacking Morrison, Strowman then tosses Miz across the ring. Strowman goes for an avalanche and Miz gets out of the ring, Morrison tags in and he hits Strowman with multiple Disaster Kicks. Morrison drops Strowman before landing another knee strike, Miz tags in and he nails Strowman with a top rope axe handle smash. Morrison tags in and he works with Miz to hit Strowman with a Skull Crushing Finale double stomp for a near fall, Miz stops the pin before getting into a brief argument with Morrison. Strowman gets up and he nails Miz with a choke slam, Morrison goes for a springboard move and Strowman swats him in midair. Strowman then hits Morrison with a running power slam for a three count.
Winner: Braun Strowman, still the WWE Universal Champion
- Highlights are shown of AJ Styles winning the WWE Intercontinental Title on Smackdown.
- Kayla Braxton interviews AJ Styles, who says that he could’ve taken a night off tonight, but he came to invite everybody to a championship presentation on WWE Smackdown.
- Bobby Lashley attacks Drew McIntyre with the full nelson before the match even begins, a bunch of refs come to ringside and Lashley finally releases the hold.
WWE Championship
Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Bobby Lashley w/MVP
The match begins with Lashley cornering McIntyre and landing multiple shoulder thrusts, Lashley then hits McIntyre with a suplex slam for a few near falls. Lashley corners McIntyre again before kicking away at him, McIntyre fights back and he nails a charging Lashley with a knee strike. Lashley recovers and he nails McIntyre with a clothesline for a few near falls, Lashley holds McIntyre down while wrenching away on his arm. Lashley keeps McIntyre down while holding him in a chin lock, McIntyre recovers and he nails Lashley with a northern lights suplex. Lashley recovers and he nails McIntyre with a neck breaker for another near fall, Lashley follows up by choking McIntyre on the middle rope. McIntyre recovers and he sends Lashley to the arena floor, McIntyre leaves the ring and he rams Lashley into the barricade a few times. MVP distracts McIntyre and Lashley nails him with a slam on the arena floor, Lashley then sends McIntyre head first into the ring post. Lashley gets McIntyre back in the ring and McIntyre leaves a few moments later, McIntyre then propels a charging Lashley into the barricade.
McIntyre gets Lashley back in the ring before following him in there, McIntyre and Lashley have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. McIntyre ends the exchange by nailing Lashley with a clothesline and boot to the face, McIntyre then hits Lashley with a top rope clothesline. McIntyre gets Lashley on his shoulders and Lashley gets free before eating a spine buster for a near fall, Lashley recovers and he nails a charging McIntyre with a spine buster for a near fall. Lashley follows up on that by sending McIntyre shoulder first into the ring post, Lashley then hits McIntyre with a flat liner for a near fall. Lashley looks for the full nelson and McIntyre prevents it from happening, Lashley traps McIntyre in the corner while landing some strikes. McIntyre gets free and he nails Lashley with an inverted Alabama slam for a near fall, Lashley fights back and he eats a strike from McIntyre. McIntyre goes to the top rope and Lashley catches him as he leaps off to apply the cross face, McIntyre gets free and Lashley gets him in an ankle lock. McIntyre gets free and he gets a charging Lashley in a kimura, Lashley gets to the ropes to break the submission hold.
Lashley goes to the ring apron and McIntyre sends him into the ring post, McIntyre climbs to the top rope and he drags Lashley up there as well. McIntyre gets Lashley down with a superplex, McIntyre goes for the Claymore Kick and Lashley counters with a spear for a near fall. Lana makes her way to the ringside area and she argues with MVP, Lana goes to the ring apron and McIntyre sends Lashley into her after landing a headbutt before landing a Claymore Kick for a three count.
Winner: Drew McIntyre, still the WWE Champion
- The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders are shown brawling in the parking lot, Montez Ford slams Erik onto the windshield of Braun Strowman’s car. Everybody runs into the building and the brawl continues backstage, Dawkins and Ford grab golf clubs while Erik and Ivar grab their shields and a bowling ball. The Viking Raiders chase The Street Profits to another backstage area, they all then agree to put their weapons down so they can fight like men. The Street Profits attack The Viking Raiders and the brawl resumes, Erik clobbers Ford with a knee strike. Dawkins attacks Erik and they continue battling as Ivar grabs the bowling ball, Ivar then rolls the ball into the testicular area or Ford. Ivar finds Erik dropped outside of the arena before Dawkins spears him through a glass door, Ivar continues having flashbacks to all the challenges with The Street Profits. Ford and Erik return to help their respective partners to their feet, Ivar suggests they continue the battle on the outside of the arena. A bunch of people show up riding motorcycles and they are all ninjas led by Akira Tozawa, The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders work together to beat up the ninjas.
Tozawa calls for a giant ninja to battle both teams and that ninja has a sword, Ivar uses the force to grab a chicken leg and the super sized ninja scares everybody onto the top of some production trucks. The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders start arguing again a short time later and their brawl resumes, Dawkins bulldogs Erik off a truck and into a dumpster. Ivar then shoves Ford into the dumpster before diving in himself, Ivar has more flashbacks to when everybody kept telling him he is cute. A referee appears and tells them their match is up next while also telling Ivar is cute, an alligator winds up in the dumpster and scares everybody as the camera fades to black.
Edge vs. Randy Orton
The match begins with Orton and Edge locking up until Orton sends Edge face first to the mat below, Orton then gets Edge in a headlock. Edge gets free and Orton drops him with a shoulder tackle, Edge recovers to hit Orton with a few arm drags, Orton avoids a third arm drag and Edge crashes to the mat below. Edge gets Orton in a headlock and he drags Orton to the mat, Orton gets free and he gets Edge in a head scissors. Edge gets free and he misses his next headlock attempt on Orton, Edge finally gets Orton in another headlock and Orton gets free before sending Edge out of the ring. Edge gets back in the ring and Orton backs him into the corner before landing some strikes, Edge finds a way to kick Orton in the face after bating him into leaving the ring. Edge gets Orton back in the ring to get a near fall on a pin attempt, Orton fights back and he nails Edge with more strikes. Edge recovers and he drops Orton with an arm drag before applying a hammerlock, Orton gets up and Edge continues working over his arm. Orton gets free and Edge drops him with another arm drag, Edge keeps Orton down while applying a headlock to him. Orton backs Edge into the corner before stomping on his foot, Edge responds by sending Orton out of the ring with a head scissors takedown.
Edge climbs to the top rope and Orton cracks him with a few strikes, Orton climbs the ropes and he looks for a superplex to the arena floor. Edge fights back and he attacks Orton with multiple headbutts, Orton falls off the ropes and Edge lands a clothesline that sends both crashing to the arena floor. Edge follows up by sending Orton shoulder first into the ringside edge, Orton gets in the ring and Edge follows him in there. Edge follows Orton around the ring while attacking him with strikes, Edge also nails Orton with several knee strikes to the midsection. Edge follows up by nailing Orton with a side Russian leg sweep before applying the cross face, Orton gets to the ropes to break the submission attempt. Orton looks for an RKO and Edge avoids it, Edge looks for a standing arm triangle choke and Orton gets to the ropes. Orton recovers and he drops Edge with a modified neck breaker, Edge leaves the ring and Orton follows him out there. Orton grabs Edge and he sends him into the barricade and announce table multiple times, Orton also sends Edge head first into the ring steps a few times.
Orton gets Edge up and he sends him face first into the announce table before dropping him on top of the announce table, Orton gets Edge back in the ring to get a near fall on a pin attempt. Orton gets up and he stomps away on a downed Edge, Orton also grinds his boot into the eyes of Edge. Orton keeps Edge down while holding him in a chin lock, Edge gets free and Orton sends him into the corner. Orton follows up by attacking Edge with multiple suplexes, Edge fights back and he lands suplexes of his own on Orton. Orton and Edge get into a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Orton ends the exchange by nailing Edge with a drop kick. Edge leaves the ring and Orton follows him out there, Orton then sends Edge face first into the ring post. Orton gets Edge to the top rope and he follows him up there, Orton gets Edge down after landing a superplex for a near fall. Orton gets Edge up to his feet while attacking him with strikes, Orton and Edge take each other out with high cross body block attempts. Edge gets up and he nails an attacking Orton with a few strikes, Edge goes to the top rope and Orton attacks him with strikes.
Orton looks for an elevated DDT and Edge gets free to land an Edgeacution for a near fall, Edge follows up by drilling Orton with a series of running knee strikes. Edge then hits Orton with a sliding elbow strike for a near fall, Edge goes back to the top rope and he nails Orton with a high cross body for a near fall. Orton recovers to catch a charging Edge in a roll up, Edge quickly recovers and he gets Orton back in the cross face. Orton gets free after catching Edge in another roll up for a near fall, Orton then hits Edge with an Olympic Slam for a near fall. Orton goes for a drop kick next and Edge counters with a sit out power bomb for a near fall, Orton recovers and dumps a charging Edge out of the ring. Orton gets Edge back in the ring before landing an elevated DDT, Orton sets up for the RKO and Edge avoids it before landing an Edge O Matic for a near fall. Edge sets up for a spear and Orton avoids it, Edge then hits Orton with an Unprettier for another near fall. Orton recovers before dropping Edge rib first on the top rope, Orton then nails Edge with Pedigree for a near fall.
Edge fights back and he nails Orton with a Rock Bottom for a near fall, Edge looks for a sharp shooter and Orton kicks his way free. Edge goes for a backslide and he eventually gets it for a near fall, Orton gets up and he drops Edge with a European uppercut. Edge gets to the ring apron and Orton sets up for an elevated DDT, Edge gets free and he sends Orton throat first into the top rope before rolling him up for a few near falls. Orton then hits Edge with an RKO from out of nowhere for a near fall, Orton sets up for a punt and Edge counters with a spear. Edge gets up and he nails Orton with a second spear for a near fall, Edge leaps off the middle rope and Orton nails him with an RKO for a near fall. Orton gets Edge up and Edge gets him in an arm triangle choke, Orton gets free with a low blow and he lands the punt afterwards for a three count.
Winner: Randy Orton
