- After a video package highlighting NXT: In Your House 2022 (results for the show here), the broadcast began with Vic Joseph and Wade Barrett welcoming the audience to the broadcast.

- The new NXT North American Champion, Carmelo Hayes, made his way to the ring alongside Trick Williams to address the audience. After Williams correctly stated that the Golden State Warriors were going to beat the ass of the Boston Celtics (despite Hayes being from Boston), Hayes said that the goal was to regain the North American Championship, but he was now the goal. Hayes trashed the NXT crowd, saying that he was standing on his accomplishments while others were reaching for their goals. Solo Sikoa interrupted Hayes to congratulate him. Hayes said that Sikoa bet on the wrong one, but Sikao said that he had zero fear for Hayes and Williams. Grayson Waller, of all people, made in the ring to tell Sikoa that he was not famous enough to have Hayes' number, saying that Waller did not care about his family. Sikoa told Waller to shut the hell up, saying that he was with the fans. Waller, Williams, and Hayes attacked Sikoa before referees came to the ring to stop the trio.

- There was a video package highlighting the feud between Josh Briggs and Von Wagner, promoting their match as a battle of Giants.

- Tony D'Angelo made his way to the arena, with Santos Escobar opening the door. Tony D'Angelo informed Santos Escobar to take off the $1,000 suit he had on as he had a match later in the night.

Von Wagner (w/ Mr. Stone & Sofia Cromwell) vs Josh Briggs (w/ Fallon Henley & Brooks Jensen).

The two exchanged punches before Wagner hit a knee strike on Briggs' abdomen. Briggs hit a diving shoulder tackle on Wagner, followed by a sliding punch. Wagner hit a big boot on Briggs. Wagner continued to kick Briggs in the head. The chant chanted "Greenberg" to Wagner. Briggs hit a big boot on Wagner. Wagner kicked Briggs in the abdomen before throwing him out of the ring. Wagner slammed Jensen's injured arm to the apron. jensen revealed the injury was a fake, sending the cast to Briggs. Briggs hit Wagner with the cast before hitting a running Lariato for the pinfall win.

Winner: Josh Briggs (w/ Fallon Henley & Brooks Jensen).

- Solo Sikoa was interviewed backstage by McKenzie Mitchell, challenging Hayes and Waller to a match later in the night. Sikoa said that if someone wanted to be his tag team partner, they were his guest.

- Andre Chase awarded a scholarship to Thea Hail. Before taking a picture, Pretty Deadly interrupted them, warning them to watch their back.

Nathan Frazier vs Santos Escobar (w/ Tony D'Angelo, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Troy "Two Dimes" Donovan, Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro)

Escobar and Frazier locked up, with Escobar getting Frazier with an arm drag. Escobar hit a Code Breaker monkey flip on Frazier. Escobar hit a waist lock takedown on Frazier. Frazier hit a lightning-quick Tijeras on Escobar. Frazier hit a spring rope dropkick on Escobar. Frazier went for an O'Connor Roll for a near fall. Escobar hit an Inseguri on Frazier, before hitting a Tope Suicida on Frazier. Escobar got Frazier back in the ring for a near fall. Escobar got Frazier in a Boston Crab on the stairs out of the ring. Escobar hit a lariat on Frazier. Escobar hit an Irish Whip on Frazier before hitting a Tilt To World Backbreaker for a near fall. Escobar got Frazier on the Romero Special on Frazier before slamming Frazier's face for a near fall. Escobar did a takedown on Frazier before locking Frazier in another Boston Crab. Escobar told D'Angelo "Yo soy el jefe de jefes, carbon (I am the boss of bosses, you bastard)". Frazier hit a running forearm strike on Escobar. Frazier hit a Standing Shooting Star press on Escobar for a near fall. Escoabr hit a knee strike on Frazier, followed by a Superkick on Frazier. Frazier hit an inseguri kick on Escobar, followed by a Phoenix Splash for the pinfall win.

Winner: Nathan Frazier.

- Xyon Quinn was interviewed backstage, saying that Frazier and Wes Lee were all the same. Quinn says that his loss against Wes Lee was luck, saying that history will not be the same when he gets a rematch on the 6/14/2022 edition of NXT 2.0.

- NXT Champion, Bron Breakker, made his way to the ring to address the crowd. Breakker said that NXT was special to him, challenging whoever wanted to step up to the challenge. Of all people, Apollo Crews made his way to the ring to a thunderous reaction from the CWC crowd. Crews said that he missed the energy from the NXT crowd. Crews said that he was here for as long as he wants to be, congratulating him for his win against Joe Gacy in NXT: In Your House before telling Breakker that he was one of the best in all of WWE. Crews said that he left NXT too soon, saying that he was back in NXT to make history. Crews and Breakker shook hands, with Crews telling Breakker that he will see him down the road.

- Joe Gacy was with his two druids, saying that his message was more important than any other possessions or symbols. Gacy said that he will focus on the progression of the druids, revealing that the druids will make their debut on the 6/14/2022 edition of NXT. The Gacy-druids are now called the Diad.

Women’s Breakout Tournament Final

Roxanne Perez vs Tiffany Stratton.

The match began with the two locking up before Stratton pushed Perez to the ground. Perez got Stratton in a side headlock, which Stratton reversed with a takedown for a near fall. Perez went for the half Tijeras, but Stratton cartwheeled off the move. Perez hit a dropkick on Stratton, followed by putting Stratton in a wrist lock. Stratton reversed the move and got Perez in a wrist lock of her own, turning it into a half arm bar. Perez did a wrist lock takedown on Stratton. Stratton went for a powerslam, ut Perez reversed it into an arm drag. Perez got Stratton in a double wrist lock followed by an Irish Whip. Perez went to the top rope, but Stratton slammed Perez's arm don't the top rope before the commercial break.

Stratton had Perez in La Mistica arm lock, but Perez reversed it into a pinfall attempt for a near fall. Stratton missed a Standing Moonsault on Perez's arm, but still got a near fall. Stratton locked Perez in La Mistica again, but Perez reversed it into a roll up for a near fall. Stratton hit a wrist lock takedown on Perez, followed by a cartwheel elbow strike and a running stomp on Perez for a near fall. Stratton went for a Rack Attack, but Perez reversed it into an arm drag. Perez hit a middle rope Thesz Press on Stratton, followed by a Low Tope Suicida. Perez hit a Russian Leg Sweep on Stratton for a near fall. Stratton got Perez in a Crucifix for a near fall before hitting Perez with a Sit Out powerbomb for a near fall. Stratton went for a moonsault but missed. Perez took advantage of the miss and hit Stratton with Pop Rox for the pinfall win. Cora Jade came to the ring to celebrate with Perez. Toxic Attraction (Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne) came to the ring to interrupt the celebrations, telling Perez that it was all downhill from here. Perez and Jade brawled with Toxic Attraction, with Indi Hartwell joining the fight. Hartwell hit a big boot on Rose.

Winner: Roxanne Perez.

- Bohdi Hayward was seen being attended by referees, with Hayward revealing that Pretty Deadly attacked them from behind.

- Wendy Choo was interviewed backstage by Mckenzie Mitchell, but was interrupted by Tiffany Stratton. Choo threw Shoot-coke to Stratton's face before running away from the set.

Andre Chase vs Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson).

Chase hit a Thesz press on Prince. Chase hit an Ax Handle on Wilson, followed by a back-drop on Prince. Pretty Deadly attacked Chase in the ring corner. Bohdi made his way to the ring but was replaced by Hail. Chase hit the Atomic Drop on Prince, did the Chase U stomps. Prince and Wilson hit Spilled Milk on Chase for the decisive pinfall win.

Winners: Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson).

- Tony D'Angelo warned Carmelo Hayes to stay in line or his title reign will end in the blink of an eye. Hayes told D'Angelo that he was Gaba-good on any offer coming from D'Angelo's way. D'Angelo wished Hayes luck in his match.

Alba Fyre vs Tatum Paxley.

The two locked up, with Paxley hitting a take down turned Magistral for a near fall. Fyre hit Paxley with a waist lock takedown on Paxley. Paxley did a takedown on Fyre for a near fall. Fyre hit a knee strike on Paxley for a near fall. Fyre hit a chop on Paxley, followed by a facebuster for a near fall. Fyre hit the Gory Bomb on Paxley, followed by a Swanton Bomb for the pinfall win.

After the match, Lash Legend hit a gnarly big boot on Fyre, setting a match between them in the future.

Winner: Alba Winner.

- New NXT Tag Team Champions Julius Creed & Brutus Creed celebrated their win Roderick Strong, Damon Kemp, and Ivy Nile. Edris Enofe and Malik Blade congratulated them on their win before challenging them to a match for the titles. The Creeds accepted the challenge before shaking hands with Enofe & Blade. Strong was irate because of their actions, saying the Creeds were lucky they were champions.

- As reported by Fightful Select, the former Fabian Aichner was repackaged as Giovanni Vinci, who would make his re-debut on the 6/14/2022 edition of NXT 2.0.

Solo Sikoa & Apollo Crews vs Grayson Waller & Carmelo Hayes (Trick Williams).

Crews and Sikao clotheslined Williams, Waller, and Hayes out of the ring before the match began. Waller punched Sikoa and tried to headbutt Sikoa, but got dizzy. Crews hit a spring rope Lionsault on Waller, followed by a standing suplex on Waller. Crews hit an Ax Handle on Waller's arm. Hayes hit a Tijeras facebuster on Crews. Waller hit a suplex on Crews. Hayes did a Snapmare kick on Crews for a near fall. Hayes kicked Crews in the head before getting Crews in a Guillotine choke. Crews broke choke and hit Hayes with an Inseguri kick. Sikoa hit a lariat, elbow strike, and superkick on Waller. Sikoa hit a hip attack on Waller. Crews hit a crossbody on both Hayes and Waller outside. Crews and Waller brawled outside. Crews got Waller in a side headlock. Apollo hit a shoulder tackle on Waller. Sikoa got Waller in an inside headlock on Waller. Sikoa slammed Waller into Hayes, inadvertently tagging in Hayes. Sikoa tossed Hayes around before punching Trick Williams. Hayes hit a spring rope lariat on Sikoa. Waller and Hayes stomped Sikoa down. Waller hit a Leg-Sweep rock bottom, followed by a leaping elbow drop for a near fall. Hayes hit a pup kick on Sikoa. Waller punched Sikoa's abdomen before locking Sikoa in a cravat. Waller transitioned the cravat into a crossface, but Sikoa got a rope break. Crews hit a lariat ton Waller, followed by a backdrop. Apollo hit two German suplexes on Waller and a German suplex on Waller. Crews hit a ring splash on Waller, followed by a standing moonsault before Hayes broke the pinfall attempt. Hayes and Sikoa exchanged punches before Sikoa hita superkick and clotheslined himself and Sikoa out of the ring. Waller went for the rolling stunner, but Crews reversed it into the Spin-Out Powerbomb for the pinfall win. Crews and Sikoa stood tall to end the show.

Winners: Apollo Crews and Solo Sikoa.
