- The broadcast began with a video package promoting the card, narrated by the creator of ECW Paul Heyman. Vic Joseph and Wade Barrett welcomed the audience before transitioning to the opening contest.

NXT North American Championship.

Carmelo Hayes (c) (w/ Trick Williams) vs. Giovanni Vinci.

Vinci and Hayes locked up before Hayes hit a diving lariat on Vinci. Vinci evaded Hayes' offense before hitting a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Hayes hit a chop on Vinci, but Vinci sent Hayes to the corner, but Hayes got over Vinci and hit him with a spring rope lariat on Vinci for a near fall. Vinci hit a nasty chop on Hayes before connecting him with a springboard cross body on Hayes. Vinci hit four more chops on Hayes, which Williams felt on the inside before Vinci and Hayes hit each other with double clotheslines. Vinci hit another chop before hitting a step-up dropkick on Hayes for a near fall. Vinci got Hayes in a nerve hold before getting in a modified headlock on Hayes. Hayes broke the hold and sent Vinci into the ropes before hitting a pump kick on Vinci. Hayes laid in the punches and forearm strikes on Vinci before hitting him with a snap-mare/ pump kick combo for a near fall. Hayes locked Vinci in a Dragon Sleeper before quickly transitioning into a Guillotine choke, but Vinci broke the hold by tossing Hayes and hitting a Tilt-to-world back breaker on Hayes. Vinci hit a Green Bay Slam and a middle rope Moonsault Ever on Hayes for a near fall. Hayes got Vinci in a schoolboy for a near fall before placing Vinci in the ropes and hitting the Fadeaway Leg Drop on Vinci for a near fall. Hayes hit an O'Connor Roll on Vinci for a near fall before hitting a superkick on Vinci. Hayes went for a middle rope leg drop, but Vinci caught him and hit a Sheer Drop Brainsbuster on Hayes for a near fall. Hayes hit a mid-air cutter on Vinci for a near fall. Hayes went for the leg drop again, but Vinci tossed Hayes out of the ring, to which Vinci proceeded by hitting a climbing crossbody on Hayes and Williams. Back in the ring, Vinci hit a double spring rope moonsault on Hayes for a rope-break near fall, thanks to Williams. Vinci got to the outside to confront Williams, but Hayes attacked him from behind and sent him back in the ring. Carmelo went for the Top-Rope Leg Drop, but Vinci evaded and hit a lariat on Hayes. Vinci tossed Hayes with a powerbomb into Williams. Vinci then hit Williams with a Twisting Elevated Bomb on Williams and tried to hit the same move on Hayes, but Hayes reversed it with a Hurricanrana for the pinfall win and to retain the NXT North American Championship.

Winner & Still NXT North American Championship: Carmelo Hayes (c) (w/ Trick Williams)

- Gigi Dolin, Jacy Jayne, and NXT Women's Champion Mandy Rose confronted NXT Champion Bron Breakker backstage to tell him they will see who was going to walk out with their title.

- Mr. Stone and Von Wagner cut a promo backstage, where Stone said that Wagner could walk from the ring to a football field in an instant. Wagner said that no one would survive in his jungle.

- Roderick Strong, Damon Kemp, NXT Tag TeamChampions Brutus & Julius Creed came to the ring to cut a promo. The Creeds recalled debuting in NXT at the mentorship of Roderick Strong and that they worked their asses off to become the NXT Tag Team Champions. Julius said that someone was trying to destroy Diamond Min, blaming Roderick Strong. Strong said that he brought them in to give them guidance before saying that they are one of the best Tag Teams in all of WWE before telling them they are the future, but Julius said that they were the now. Brutus asked him if he was sure before telling him he had his back. Strong told him he should be careful with what came from his mouth. Julius played a clip where D'Angelo tapped the mat, seeming like he was giving Strong instructions. Strong denied the allegations before Strong told him that he was letting his imagination get the better of him. From out of nowhere, Gallus (Wolfgang, Joe Coffey & Mark Coffey) attacked everyone in Diamond Mine before standing tall in the ring.

- McKenzie Mitchell interviewed Roxanne Perez backstage, where Perez said that she was nervous for their match, but Jade had nowhere to hide from her.

Roxanne Perez vs. Cora Jade.

Perez immediately started the match by hitting a Thesz Press on Jade and two Topes Suicida on Jade to the outside for a near fall. Jade hit a forearm strike on Perez before hitting a running back elbow on Perez into the middle rope for a near fall. Jade hit a snap-mare on Perez for a near fall. Jade tried to hit a suplex on Perez, but Perez reversed it with two uppercuts, a back body drop, and a shotgun dropkick on Jade. Jade hit another forearm strike on Perez, but Perez tossed Jade out of the ring and tried to hit another tope Suicida but Jade caught her with a forearm strike before hitting a suplex on Perez on the outside of the ring. Jade slammed Perez's face into the apron before hitting her with a chop to the chest. Jade hit a low-springboard double stomp on Perez for a near fall. Jade slammed Perez's face into the mat before hitting an elbow drop on Perez's back and a forearm strike to the face. Jade hit a snap suplex on Perez for a near fall. Jade laid her knee on the back of Perez's neck into the middle rope before stomping down Perez. Jade hit a running knee on Perez into the bottom turnbuckle for a near fall. Jade went for another middle-rope elbow drop, but Perez evaded and hit a Meteora on Jade. Perez tried to hit Jade with a Russian Leg Sweep, but Jade reversed it with a Pepsi Twist for a near fall. Jade locked Perez in a double arm back stretch, but Perez flipped out of it and locked Jade in an inside cradle for a near fall. The two exchanged pins before Perez bridge off a jackknife cover and exchanged forearm strikes and pump kicks. Jade hit a high knee to Perez's abdomen, but Perez responded with two elbow strikes, two corner uppercuts, and a Russian Leg Sweep on Jade for a near fall. Perez hit a leg sweep variant on Jade for a near fall. Jade hit the elevated knee and a Full-Nelson face slam on Perez for a near fall. Jade got the kendo stick and swing it to Perez, but Perez evaded and hit a dropkick on Jade. Perez tossed the kendo stick, but Jade hit Perez with a double underhook DDT onto the kendo stick for the pinfall win.

Winner: Cora Jade.

- Fallon Henly & NXT UK Tag Team Champions Josh Briggs and Briggs Jensen were interviewed backstage before Gallus confronted them. Gallus said that they would turn NXT upside down and take the NXT UK Titles back to the United Kingdom before the two teams had to be separated by the WWE security team.

- There was a video package highlighting the feud between Tony D'Angelo and Santos Escobar ahead of their Street Fight Match, where if Escobar lost the match, he had to leave NXT.

Street Fight: If Santos Loses, He Leaves NXT. If D'Angelo Loses, Legado Del Fantasma is Free.

Santos Escobar (w/ Joaquin Wilde, Cruz Del Toro & Elektra Lopez) vs. Tony D'Angelo (w/ Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo).

- Escobar tossed a chair to D'Angelo's face before laying in the punches, elbows, knee strikes, and a lariat on D'Angelo. Escobar hit a Tijeras on D'Angelo into the chair for a near fall. Escobar laid in the kicks on D'Angelo before getting him with the front-chop block and a low dropkick on D'Angelo. Escobar hit a V-Trigger on D'Angelo for a near fall. Escobar got to the top rope and hit a top rope cross body on D/Angelo. Stacks hit a crossbody on Del Toro and Wilde outside of the wing while Escobar hit a dropkick on D'Angelo. Del Toro hit a lariat on Stacks while D'Angelo hit Escobar in the head mid-tope suicida with a trash can lid. Back in the ring, D'Angelo stomped down Escobar before hitting him with a Belly-To-Belly for a near fall. Escobar went for another Tijeras, but D'Angelo reversed with a Liger Bomb for a near fall. D'Angelo tossed Escobar into a chair placed in the middle turnbuckle. D'Angelo swong the chair on Escobar's left arm before placing the chair on Santos's shoulder and slamming him into the ring post. The two continued to brawl outside of the ring before D'Angelo tossed Escobar into the ring stairs. D'Angelo placed Escobar's arm into the stairs before he kicked the stairs. D'Angelo pulled a buck load of chairs before hitting a suplex into the chairs on the outside. Back in the ring, D'Angelo got Escobar in a lateral press for a near fall. D'Angelo hit a Suplex on Escobar for a near fall. Stacks tossed a trash can into the ring, which D'Angelo used to hit Escobar right in the head for a near fall. Escobar hit two lariats, Tijeras, an enziguri kick, a spinning palm strike, and a Tope Suicida on D'Angelo to the outside. D'Angelo slammed Escobar into the ring post. Del Toro hit Stacks with the crowbar before Escobar got a victory roll on D'Angelo for a near fall. Escobar tried to get the brass knucks, but D'Angelo got an O'Connor Roll on Escobar for a near fall. D'Angelo pushed Lopez when trying to get a crowbar before hitting a low blow on Escobar. Back in the ring, Escobar hit a leaping beck kick on D'Angelo before the two laid on the ring. The two went for their weapons of choice before D'Angelo clocked Escobar with the crowbar for one final pinfall win, sending Escobar out of NXT.

Winner: Tony D'Angelo (w/ Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo).

- Indi Hartwell was backstage with NXT Women's Tag Team Champions Kayden Carter and Katana Chance before receiving a letter from Dexter Lumis. The sweetness would last very little as NXT UK Wrestler and former AEW Wrester Blair Davenport took the letter off Hartwell's hands and rip it up before saying that she was going to be the new "NXT Women's Champion".

- There was a vignette where Wendy Choo and Tiffany Stratton said they were both tired of each other. They will face each other in a Lights Out Match on the 8/22/2022 edition of NXT 2.0.

NXT Women's Championship.

Mandy Rose (c) (w/ Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne) vs. Zoey Stark.

Stark hit a foreamr strike on Rose before attempting the Belly-To-Back Suplex, but Stark rolled through for a near fall. Stark hit a back elbow on Rose before hitting. sliding dropkick on Rose to the outside. Rose slammed Stark into the apron before tossing her over the broadcast table and slamming Stark's left knee into the broadcast table. A referee and a medical specialist came to attend her before Rose got Stark back in the ring. Rose targetted her offense on the injured leg before slamming it into the ring post. Rose got Stark in a modified single-leg crab before transitioning into an STF but Rose broke the hold by slamming Stark's face into the mat for a near fall. Stark hit a forearm strike, but Rose strikes her down for a near fall. Rose got Stark in a half-deathlock on Stark, but Stark booted Rose in the face to break the hold. Jayne tripped Stark. The referee saw them and kicked Dolin and Jayne out of the match. Lyons kicked the two in the head. Stark got Rose in La Casita for a near fall before Rose hit her with a chop block. Rose hit two elbow drops on Stark's leg before locking in a Single Leg Crab on Stark, but Stark kicked Rose in the head to send her out of the ring. Stark hit a back elbow, two lariats, and a sliding knee on Rose for a near fall. Stark hit an elbow strike on Rose and an Enziguri before hitting. a snap-mare/ superkick combo on Rose for a near fall. Rose hit a Belly-to-Back suplex on Stark for a near fall, where Stark landed straight on her neck. The two exchanged strikes before Stark hit the Belly-To-Back GTS, but Rose rolled out of the ring to prevent being pinned. Rose wrapped Stark's knee in the rope and targeted the knee. Rose went for the V-Trigger but reversed it with two pinfall attempts. Rose finally connected the V-Trigger on Stark for a near fall, with Stark becoming the first wrestler to kick out of Rose's knee strike in NXT. Rose put on Stark's knee brace before connecting the V-Trigger on Stark for the pinfall win.

Winner & Still NXT Women's Champion: Mandy Rose (w/ Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne).

- Quincy Elliot cut a promo backstage, confession he is bringing it all to NXT. Quincy Elliot said he was it and stated that he was the super-diva.

- McKenzie Elliot interviewed Grayson Waller, they instead argued instead before Waller invited Apollo Crews to his sit down show. He then said that her necklace must have been cheep.

NXT Championship Match.

Bron Breakker (c) vs. JD McDonagh.

Breakker and JD locked up, with JD targeting the shoulder but Breakker pushed JD to the other side of the ring. Breakker slapped JD in the face before the two locked up again. JD hit a monkey flip, but Breakker held a wrist lock on JD. JD hit a snap-mare on Breakker, but Breakker held onto JD with another wrist lock. Brekaer hit a Standing Suplex on JD before tossing him out of the ring. Breakker targeted JD's left shoulder before lifting him up and hitting an overhead belly-to-belly suplex and a standing moonsault on JD for a near fall. Breakker got JD in a hammerlock before tossing him into the ring corner. Breakker hit a lariat on JD before tossing him out of the ring. Breakker slammed JD's face into the apron and the ring stairs before rolling him back in the ring. JD tripped Breakker and hit a spring rope cork screw splash on Breakker. JD laid in the forearm strikes on Breakker, but Breakker hit two underhooks on JD before going on the top rope, but JD tripped him to make Breakker fall in the nards. JD hit a neck breaker into the steel part of the top turnbuckle. Back in the ring, JD laid in the Anvil Elbows on Breakker before locking in a modified arm lock on Breakker, but Breakker got a rope break. JD targetted Breakker's neck, slowly twisting his neck, but Breakker broke the hold with a chin lock. Breaker hit two shoulder tackles and a pop-up slam on JD. Breakker attempted the spear, but JD slammed Breakker into the ring post before locking in the cross face on Breakker but Breakker broke the hold with a rope break. JD got to the top rope, but Breakker met him up and hit him with a Frankensteiner on JD for a near fall. JD placed himself and Breakker in the top rope before hitting an Avalanche Spanish Fly and a Brainbuster on Breakker for a near fall. JD went for a top rope Moonsault, but Breakker caught him with a Spear, but JD rolled outside of the ring. Breakker got JD back in the ring and hit a second spear, but Breakker was not done. JD, bloody from the mouth, asked for a third spear, which Breakker obliged before hitting a Gorilla Press Slam for the pinfall win.

- After the match, current NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate made his NXT return as he came to the ring to confront Breakker, seemingly teasing a match between them. Bate and Breakker stood tall in the ring to end the show.
