-We open the show with a recap of Adam Cole and Johnny Gargano last week before its announced that Johnny and Adam will pick their stipulations for the 2 out of 3 falls match at NXT Takeover: Toronto.
NXT Breakout Tournament Semifinals Match
Jordan Myles vs Angel Garza
Angel mocks Jordan and they exchange wrist locks before Jordan takes Angel down and keeps Angel grounded until he dropkicks him. Jordan hits a wrecking ball dropkick before Angel sends him out of the ring and into the steps and the railing before rolling back into the ring and playing to the crowd. Jordan gets back into the ring at the count of seven and Angel is all over him before hitting a butterfly backbreaker for a near fall. Angel locks in a camel clutch before Jordan counters into a sunset flip for a near fall of his own. Angel superkicks Jordan for another near fall and chokes him with his boot before sending him face first into the bottom turnbuckle before he taunts Jordan. Jordan comes back with a back elbow and kicks in the corner before sweeping him and hitting a dropkick into a spinning clothesline in the corner.
Angel rolls across the ring when Jordan goes up top before Angel dropkicks Jordan in midair when he goes for a springboard move for a near fall. Jordan then hits a dead lift German suplex for the pin and the win.
Winner: Jordan Myles defeats Angel Garza via pinfall to advance to the final of the tournament.
-Shane Thorne shows up at the commentary table after the match and cuts a promo.
-We go to a taped promo by Johnny Gargano where he announces a street fight as his stipulation for the 2 out of 3 falls match.
Bianca Belair vs Xia Li
Bianca drives Xia into the corner and thrusts her shoulder into her before stomping her and tossing her around. Bianca hits a butterfly slam into a standing moonsault before hitting a fall away slam and a delayed suplex before Xia comes back with kicks and Bianca hits the KOD for the pin and the win.
Winner: Bianca Belair defeats Xia Li via pinfall with the KOD.
-We get a video package for Killian Dain.
-We get camera footage of Mia Yim attacking Jessamyn Duke at the NXT Performance Center before the NXT North American champion the Velveteen Dream makes his way out to the ring to set up a match with Roderick Strong at NXT Takeover: Toronto before he's interrupted by Pete Dunne who snaps the fingers of Strong and stares down Dream as he leaves as we go to commercial.
-We go backstage to Roderick Strong talking to William Regal about a shot at Velveteen Dream before Regal announces the match will be a triple threat match for the NXT North American Championship between the champion Dream, Roderick and Pete.
Io Shirai vs Kacy Catanzaro
Io hits a shotgun dropkick into running knees in the corner and a butterfly shoulder breaker before Candice LeRae attacks her for the disqualification.
Winner: Io Shirai defeats Kacy Catanzaro via disqualification when Candice LeRae interferes.
-Adam Cole announces that his stipulation will be a plain old fashioned wrestling match.
Keith Lee vs Damian Priest
They lock up and Damian wrenches the arm of Keith before locking in a headlock and they try to knock each other over with shoulder tackles before Damian kicks Keith. They dodge each other and mock each other before Keith drops Damian with a shoulder tackle before he wins a test of strength. Damian beats and stomps Keith down in the corner before hitting a curb stomp into the bottom turnbuckle and drops Keith with a discus lariat for a two count. Damian locks in a rear chin lock that Keith breaks before Damian hits an old school into a springboard cross body for a near fall. Keith comes back with clotheslines and a running forearm in the corner into a lariat for a near fall before Damian hits a falcon arrow for a near fall and they exchange strikes until Keith launches Damian across the ring with a shoulder block. Damian rolls out of the ring before Keith rolls him back in and catches him getting back into the ring before he goes for a flipping senton and Keith catches him before booting him into the steps. Keith then chases Damian back into the ring before he uses the referee as a shield and hits Keith with a whirlwind kick and a twisting reverse neckbreaker for the pin and the win.
Winner: Damian Priest defeats Keith Lee via pinfall with a twisting reverse neckbreaker.
