Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage of tonight's edition of WWE NXT on the USA Network headlined by a huge championship match for the North American Championship!
-We open the show with a video package narrated by Triple H before he comes out to the live audience before Io Shirai comes out to the ring for the fatal four number one contender match for a shot at Shayna Baszler.
NXT Women's Championship Number One Contender Fatal Four Way Match
Io Shirai vs Bianca Belair vs Candice LeRae vs Mia Yim
Everyone brawls before it's Bianca and Candice in the ring and Bianca hits a military press slam and a hand spring moonsault for a two count that Mia breaks up. Io hits a springboard missile dropkick for a two count on Bianca before Mia hits a tornado DDT using Io as a wall on Bianca before Candice smashes Io's face into the apron and Bianca hits a fall away slam. Mia then hits a suicide dive and Io hits a moonsault as we go to commercial.
We return to a tower of doom before Candice hits Io with a snap dragon suplex and Bianca sends her face first into the turnbuckle before Mia hits a Code Blue for a near fall that Io breaks up. Bianca spears both Io and Mia before she hits Candice with the KOD for a near fall and Mia sends Bianca out of the ring before Io sends Mia out of the ring and Io hits running knees in the corner and gets shoved off of the top and onto Bianca at ringside before she can hit the moonsault. Candice then hits Mia with a reverse huricanrrana into a springboard moonsault for the pin and the win.
Winner: Candice LeRae defeats Mia Yim, Io Shirai and Bianca Belair via pinfall to earn a shot at Shayna Baszler's NXT Women's Championship.
-After the match Candice is surrounded by the Horsewomen on the stage before we get a video package for Adam Cole and see Roderick Strong and Velveteen Dream getting ready for their title match in tonight's main event as we go to commercial.
Sean Maluta vs Cameron Grimes
Cameron immediately hits a jumping meteora for the pin and the win.
Winner: Cameron Grimes defeats Sean Maluta via pinfall with a jumping meteora.
-We get a video package for the NXT North American Championship match coming up in tonight's first hour main event as we go to commercial.

NXT North American Championship Match
Velveteen Dream (c) vs Roderick Strong
Dream backs Strong into the corner for a clean break before they grapple and Dream takes Strong down before Strong reverses and Dream clotheslines Strong over the top rope as we go to commercial.
Dream drops Strong with a shoulder tackle and hits a diving ax handle before hitting one from the top and rolling Strong back into the ring before Strong hits a back drop onto the barricade. Strong rolls Dream back into the ring and hits a wrecking ball dropkick before driving Dream into the apron for a quick one count. Strong locks in a sleeper before Dream gets a two count and Strong chops him around the ring before hitting a backbreaker for a two count and a uranage backbreaker for another two count before Dream counters a lion tamer into a sharpshooter. Strong then easily breaks the hold and sends Dream out of the ring before Dream sends Strong into the steps as we go to commercial.
Dream drops Strong several times and hits a superkick for a two count before hitting a DreamDT for a near fall and Strong nearly knocks him out, Dream stuck hanging on the second rope before he gets trapped in the ropes and Strong hits him with forearms. Strong hits a Tiger driver before locking in a Boston crab, Dream getting to the ropes right before tapping before the rest of the Undisputed Era come out to ringside. Dream hits a high back body drop before he accidentally takes out the referee and hits a DVD before he takes out Kyle and Bobby before Strong hits The End of Heartache for a very close near fall. Dream then hits another DVD before Adam distracts Dream and Strong hits another End of Heartache for the pin and the win.
Winner: Roderick Strong defeats Velveteen Dream via pinfall with The End of Heartache to become the new NXT North American champion.
Pete Dunne vs Arturo Ruas
Ruas takes Pete down before he gets to his feet and Pete backs him into the ropes for a clean break before they exchange submission attempts. Ruas locks in a standing arm triangle before Pete clotheslines him and bends Ruas' arm down to the mat before stomping on his shoulder and hand. Ruas comes back with leg kicks and focuses on the legs of Pete before Pete catches a kick and hits a dragon screw before hitting an enzuigiri into a release German suplex and a buzzsaw kick into an x-plex for a near fall. Ruas then hits a bridging German suplex for a near fall before Pete hits an enzuigiri into an x-plex into a triangle before he applies a mounted triangle and snaps the fingers of Ruas until he submits for the win.
Winner: Pete Dunne defeats Artuo Ruas via submission with a mounted triangle choke.
Xia Li vs Aliyah
Xia is in control the entire time, overwhelming Aliyah with her speed and superior striking before she hits a windmill kick for the pin and the win.
Winner: Xia Li defeats Aliyah via pinfall with a windmill kick.
KUSHIDA vs Local Talent
-Before the match can get started NXT UK's Imperium attack KUSHIDA's opponent before WALTER joins the rest of Imperium and goes over their modus operandi before they're interrupted by KUSHIDA. KUSHIDA single handedly takes out Imperium before challenging WALTER to a match and quickly leaving once they regroup as we go to commercial.
Winner:Match never started.
WWE Cruiserweight Championship Number One Contender Match
Oney Lorcan vs Lio Rush
Oney sprints at Lio and hits him with running back elbows in the corner into a running blockbuster before Lio sends him out of the ring and hits several suicide dives before hitting a running forearm and a huricanrrana into an enzuigiri for a two count. Oney whips Lio into the corner and hits him with an uppercut before hanging him on the top rope and hitting him with another uppercut that sends him down onto the floor. Oney hits a sit-out powerbomb for a near fall before locking in a single leg Boston crab and transitioning into a single leg lion tamer before Lio kicks his way free. Oney drops Lio and hits a snapping scoop slam for a two count before chopping Lio, Lio coming back with a springboard rebound stunner for a near fall. Lio misses a splash and tweaks his knee before Oney hits a powerbomb into another single leg Boston crab before transitioning into a modified STF. Lio gets to the bottom rope for the break before they exchange strikes and Lio hits a Spanish fly into a frog splash for the pin and the win.
Winner: Lio Rush defeats Oney Lorcan via pinfall with a frog splash to gain an opportunity to face Drew Gulak for the Cruiserweight Championship.
Street Fight Match
Matt Riddle vs Killian Dain
Dain rushes Matt and hits a shotgun dropkick before Matt hits a dead lift German suplex and an exploder suplex before he goes for a senton, but Dain gets his knees up. Matt hits Dain with a kick and a kendo stick before Dain sends Matt into the crowd and hits him with the stick before hitting a senton. The two fight backstage before they end up outside and Dain sends Matt into a semi before Matt is assaulted by Imperium and is rescued by the Street Profits and the entire NXT men's roster brawls outside and it spills ringside. Matt and Dain are separated by security which they fight off before everyone gets into the ring and brawls before they clear the ring. Dain then hits a suicide dive and takes out everyone as we go off the air.
Winner: No contest due to the entire locker room coming out and brawling until the referee gives up and throws the match out.
