WWE NXT TakeOver:WarGames II Results

Hey Fight Fans, it's time for NXT TakeOver: WarGames to kick off Survivor Series weekend, so sit back and enjoy the best of NXT!

-Matt Riddle comes out to the ring to start the show and talks about his match against Kassius Ohno before challenging him to a match right now. Ohno says Matt is too stupid to know he's not supposed to be out there, and too stupid for TakeOver before agreeing to the match.

Kassius Ohno vs Matt Riddle

Matt immediately drops Ohno with a bicycle knee for the pin and the win as soon as the bell rings to start the match.

Winner: Matt Riddle defeats Kassius Ohno via pinfall with a bicycle knee.

NXT Women's Championship 2 out of 3 Falls Match

Shayna Baszler (c) vs Kairi Sane

Kairi hits a running dropkick in the corner as soon as the match starts before hitting two neckbreakers and beats Shayna down with chops before hitting a sliding lariat. The refers is then distracted before Shafir and Duke attack Kairi and Shayna locks in a choke before Kairi taps for the first fall.

Shayna gets a near fall off of a jumping knee before Shayna locks it in again and Kairi rolls to the ropes for the break. Shayna puts Kairi in a single leg Boston crab before stomping her in the face, Kairi getting a near fall off of a roll up up and another before countering the choke again. They exchange strikes until Shayna clotheslines Kairi and Kairi counters a suplex into a spike DDT onto the apron. Kairi hits a diving elbow drop off of the top and onto all of the women at ringside before hitting the Insane Elbow for the pin; tying it up at 1-1.

Kairi spears Shayna three times before dropping her with spinning back fists, Shayna catching Kairi up top before Kairi hits a sunset flip powerbomb off of the top for a near fall. Kairi then hits an Alabama slam before Shafir and Duke interfere again and Dakota Kai and Io Shirai even the odds, Kairi hitting the Insane Elbow again before Shayna wins with a crucifix pin for the win.

Winner: Shayna Baszler retains her NXT Women's Championship by defeating Kairi Sane via pinfall

Aleister Black vs Johnny Gargano

Johnny mocks Black and slaps him before Black drops him with a boot and drops him with a kick to the chest once they're out of the ring. Back in the ring Johnny sticks and moves, dodging Aleister's strikes until Aleister hits a bicycle knee and a sliding knee strike. Johnny hits a PK to Aleister when he goes for his signature pose in the center of the ring, Johnny stomping Aleister in the corner before playing to the crowd. Johnny punches and chops Black in the corner before Aleister comes back with a kitchen sink and drops him from the apron with a boot before hitting a flipping senton over the top rope and onto Johnny at ringside. Black kicks Johnny in the corner once they're back in the ring before sweeping his legs out from under him and hitting a springboard moonsault for a quick two count.

Black sends Johnny out or the ring with a superkick before Johnny hits a diving DDT through the ropes before rolling him back in for a slingshot DDT for a near fall. Johnny yells at Black before they exchange kicks until Johnny hits a reverse huricanrrana and Black drops him with a shining wizard. Black catches Johnny when he goes for a slingshot spear before hitting a springboard meteora for a near fall. Johnny clotheslines Black before hitting a flying Gargano Escape, Black countering for a near fall before Johnny launches him into the turnbuckle face first. Black sits down and tells Johnny to give him his best shot before hitting a running knee for a near fall, the two exchanging forearms until Johnny pushes Black out of the ring.

Black catches Johnny in midair with a jumping knee when Johnny goes for a suicide dive before rolling him back into the ring and goes for the Black Mass, but Johnny counters into a roll up for a near fall. Johnny then locks in the Gargano Escape before Black comes back with a spinning knee and a bicycle knee into two Black Mass kicks for the pin and the win.

Winner: Aleister Black defeats Johnny Gargano via pinfall with the Black Mass.

NXT Championship Match

Tommaso Ciampa (c) vs Velveteen Dream

They lock up to get started with Dream backing Ciampa into the ropes for a clean break before Dream mocks him and plays to the crowd. Ciampa takes Dream down and they grapple until Dream smacks Ciampa in the back of the head, Ciampa pulling the head band off of Dream who gets out of the ring and grabs the belt. Dream tosses the belt on the floor before getting back in the ring and Dream slams Ciampa to the mat before dropkicking him and sending him throat first into the ropes. Dream gets his headband back and drops Ciampa with a boot before Ciampa rolls out of the ring, Dream hitting a diving cross body to the outside. Ciampa pushes Dream from the top rope and clotheslines him down onto the floor, Ciampa rolls Dream back into the ring and stomps him in the corner before hitting a running knee.

Ciampa snaps Dream in the ropes and down onto the floor before rolling him into the ring and choking him until Dream counters a neckbreaker into a back slide for a near fall. They drop each other with strikes before Dream drops Ciampa with a running forearm and a boot into a series of leg drops. Ciampa counters a DVD before Dream hits a spine buster and a diving cross body when Ciampa rolls out of the ring to catch his breath. Ciampa sends Dream out of the ring when he rushes him before Dream starts focusing on the knee of Ciampa. Ciampa counters a figure four into a roll up for a near fall before Dream locks it in a second time, Ciampa getting to the bottom rope to break the hold.

Ciampa kicks Dream out of the ring before Dream counters a draping DDT and a suplex, suplexing Ciampa over the top rope and down onto the floor. They exchange strikes once they're back in the ring before Ciampa gets a near fall off of a roll up with the tights before Dream hits a rolling DVD for a near fall of how own. Ciampa catches Dream in midair with a knee when he goes for a diving cross body before Ciampa hits a bloody cross for a very close near fall. Ciampa brings the belt into the ring before Dream rolls him up for a near fall before Ciampa hits a draping DDT for a very close near fall. Dream counters a draping DDT from the apron onto the concrete by launching him and Ciampa over the announce table before Dream hits a rolling DVD onto the floor.

Dream then hits the Purple Rain Maker off of the top for a very close near fall before missing one to the outside, Ciampa hitting a draping DDT into the steel between the two rings for the pin and the win.

Winner: Tommaso Ciampa retains his NXT Championship by defeating Velveteen Dream via pinfall with a draping DDT.

War Games Match

Undisputed Era vs War Raiders, Ricochet & Pete Dunne

Adam Cole starts the match off with Ricochet for the first five minutes, the two in separate rings and beckoning each other into their respective ring until Adam attacks Ricochet when he gets in the ring he's in. Ricochet comes back with a European uppercut into a huricanrrana and a dropkick before Adam catches Ricochet in midair with a back stabber. Adam hits a neckbreaker into an ushigaroshi before tossing Ricochet out of one ring and into the other, Adam driving his knee into the spine of Ricochet before pressing his face into the steel. Ricochet comes back with a dropkick and hits a springboard European uppercut out of one ring and into the other before Kyle O'Reilly comes and gets in the ring. Kyle beats on Ricochet, keeping the high flyer from Kentucky down as he and Adam double team him for several minutes.

Hanson gets in the ring next and takes out both Kyle and Adam before hitting endless clotheslines to Adam and Kyle in opposite corners before finishing with a bronco buster to the two of them piled up in the corner. Ricochet hits an assisted shooting star press before Strong comes in and dropkicks Ricochet before hitting running knees in the corner to Hanson and Ricochet. Strong hits several uranage backbreakers to Ricochet and an Olympic slam to Hanson before UE triple team Ricochet and Hanson until Rowe comes in and hits a suplex and a flying knee before knocking Strong away with a rolling forearm. Rowe hits a powerbomb powerslam to UE before War Raiders launch Adam face first into the side of the cage, WR doubling up on Adam in the corner until Bobby Fish comes in. Fish attacks Pete while he's in the cage and takes the lock from his cage and locks Pete in before throwing the key into the crowd.

Fish grabs chairs and tosses them in the ring as UE beat War Raiders and Ricochet down with the chairs, Strong hitting a uranage onto a chair with Rowe before bouncing him off of the side of the cage. UE hit dueling superplexes to War Raiders before someone gets bolt cutters and Pete gets free. Pete smacks the knuckles of Fish and O'Reilly when they keep the cage door closed before Ricochet takes out UE with a diving cross body. Pete brings a kendo stick and two trash cans as well as two tables into the ring before the match officially begins. Pete beats UE down with the kendo stick before War Raiders, Ricochet and Pete beat UE down with kendo sticks and a chair.

Pete hits an x-plex with Strong onto Kyle before Adam chop blocks the knee of Pete and Rowe uses Hanson as a weapon on Adam and Kyle before they hit a springboard lariat German suplex for a near fall. UE come back with several double team moves to every member of the international team before Pete fights the entirety of UE off. Pete locks in a knee bar on Fish until Kyle breaks it up and wraps a chain around the ankle of Dunne, Kyle locking in an ankle lock with the chain as the rest of UE fight off War Raiders and Ricochet. Ricochet breaks the hold with a flipping senton as Ricochet and Pete hit a superplex and a frankensteiner before WR hit a pop-up powerslam for a near fall. Fish puts Rowe through a table before Hanson hits a springboard splash out of one ring and onto Kyle through the second table for a very close near fall.

Adam and Ricochet get on top of the cage and exchange strikes until Adam and Kyle try to send Ricochet off onto the floor. They hit a super tower of doom before Ricochet hits a double moonsault and takes everyone out before all eight men square off and brawl between the two rings. Everyone then hits a move before Adam counters the Bitter End into the Last Shot for a very close near fall before Pete hits the Bitter End and Ricochet hits a 450 splash for the pin and the win.

Winner: Pete Dunne, Ricochet and War Raiders defeat Undisputed Era via pinfall when Pete pins Adam after he hits the Bitter End and Ricochet hits a 450 splash.
