Kofi Kingston: We're Excited To Celebrate New Day's Anniversary, But We Have A Lot More Work To Do

- Drew McIntyre makes his way to the ring to start the show, highlights are shown of McIntyre’s appearance last week on WWE Smackdown. McIntyre talks about this weekend’s WWE Survivor Series ’20 event while professing his love for Thanksgiving, McIntyre tells everybody what he is thankful for. McIntyre also talks about his confrontation last week with Roman Reigns, McIntyre says he’ll win the WWE Championship tonight and beat Reigns at WWE Survivor Series ’20. Randy Orton interrupts and he appears on the big screen, Orton says he is thankful for being a 14 time WWE Champion. Orton says getting fined for his actions last week didn’t faze him due to his past suspensions and fines, Orton says he’s still in the WWE because he’s the greatest wrestler ever. Orton says he’ll prove it again by defeating McIntyre tonight, McIntyre again predicts he’ll win the WWE Championship tonight. The Miz and John Morrison interrupt and come out on stage, Miz says he and Morrison will be sitting front row for the title match tonight.

Miz and Morrison talk about tonight’s WWE Championship match and how the title could change hands tonight, while hinting that he can cash in the briefcase tonight. Miz and Morrison also say that Bray Wyatt is afraid of them, Miz and Morrison tell McIntyre that change is coming tonight. McIntyre intimidates Miz and Morrison before they leave the ring, Miz again hints at cashing in the briefcase before heading backstage with Morrison.

- Highlights are shown of what has gone down in the last few weeks between Lana and Nia Jax.

- Lana is approached backstage by Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler, Lana says she wants to prove to everybody that she deserves to be on the Raw Women's Survivor Series Team. Baszler says the match is about her and Jax proving they run the Raw Women's Division.

Shayna Baszler, Nia Jax & Lana vs. Asuka, Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke

The match begins with Baszler immediately tagging herself in the match, Brooke attacks Baszler from behind and Baszler quickly nails her with a back breaker. Baszler follows up by cracking Brooke with a knee strike, Baszler then tosses Brooke out of the ring before tagging Jax in. Rose tries interfering and Jax attacks her, Jax gets Rose’s arm on the ring steps and Baszler stomps on it as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Baszler working over the arm of Brooke, Brooke fights back and she sends Baszler into the corner. Asuka tags in and she immediately starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Asuka nails Baszler with a double knee strike followed by a basement drop kick for a near fall. Jax interferes and she lays out Brooke a few moments later, Asuka then hits Baszler with a head kick. Jax interferes again and Baszler gets Asuka in a rear naked choke, Lana tags herself in and she kicks Asuka in the head for a near fall. Asuka fights back and she gets Lana in the Asuka Lock to force a tap out.

Winners: Asuka, Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke

After the match, Shayna Baszler sends Lana out of the ring and Nia Jax faints being happy for Lana before putting her through the announce table.

- Highlights are shown of what went down last week between the Raw Men’s Survivor Series Team.

- The Raw Men’s Survivor Series team is arguing backstage when AJ Styles shows up, Styles says they have the advantage over Team Smackdown on paper. Styles says it has been a bumpy road for their team since it formed, Styles says they’ll lose on Sunday Night unless they come together tonight against Retribution. Styles gives them all shirts and none of them like them, Riddle says he has a nickname for Styles and Styles refuses to here it.

- Charly Caruso interviews Dana Brooke, Brooke says Mandy Rose is in rough shape after what happened earlier tonight and Reckoning attacks her.

- The Firefly Fun House is up next with Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss, Wyatt says The Miz isn’t nice and Hollywood types like him are always the same. Wyatt says he wants to help Miz and Bliss says Wyatt is challenging Miz to a match tonight, Wyatt says he has his friends to help him prepare for the match. Wyatt is shown training for the match by beating up his friends while blindfolded, Wyatt also participates in a spelling bee. Wyatt also throws darts at the rabbit, Wyatt says he is ready for the match with Miz as the funhouse comes to a close.

- The Hurt Business is in the ring before the next match, MVP says there is no one better than The Hurt Business. MVP says Bobby Lashley will defeat Sami Zayn at WWE Survivor Series ’20, Shelton Benjamin says he and Cedric Alexander will beat The New Day tonight before beating The Street Profits at WWE Survivor Series ’20. The New Day interrupts and Xavier Woods tells The Hurt Business to take the base out of their throats, Kofi Kingston says everything The Hurt Business said was a lie. Kingston makes a joke about The Hurt Business and he calls them The Jerk Business.

Raw Tag Team Championship
The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) (c) vs. The Hurt Business (Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin) w/ MVP & Bobby Lashley

The match begins with Alexander scoring a takedown on Kingston, Kingston gets up and Alexander drags him back to the ground. Alexander gets Kingston in a headlock and Kingston gets free before eating a shoulder tackle, Kingston fights back and he nails Alexander with a leaping back elbow strike. Woods tags in and he double teams Alexander alongside Kingston for a near fall, Woods stands Alexander up before landing some strikes. Alexander nails Woods in the throat before tagging Benjamin into the match, Woods nails Benjamin with a discus forearm strike. Woods mounts Benjamin in the corner before landing a few strikes, Woods then hits Benjamin with a drop kick for a near fall. Benjamin recovers and he drops Woods with a clothesline, Benjamin follows up by nailing Woods with a few slams. Benjamin then cracks Woods with a spine buster for a near fall, Alexander tags in and he cracks Woods with a few strikes. Alexander drops Woods before landing a basement drop kick for a near fall, Alexander keeps Woods down while landing shots to his back.

Alexander keeps Woods down longer while holding him in an inverted bear hug, Alexander releases the hold to hit Woods with a drop kick for a near fall. Benjamin tags in and he holds Woods in a chin lock, Woods gets free and he rolls up Benjamin for a near fall. Woods then drops Benjamin with an enziguri, Kingston tags in and he immediately starts cleaning house against the opposing team. Kingston nails Benjamin with a top rope high cross body for a near fall. Kingston then hits Benjamin with a leaping clothesline, Kingston goes for a Boom Drop next and Benjamin counters with a buckle bomb. Alexander tags in and Kingston is hit with a modified Doomsday Device for a near fall as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Benjamin holding Kingston in a chin lock. Kingston gets free and Benjamin reapplies the hold before eating a jaw breaker, Benjamin corners Kingston before landing some shoulder thrusts. Benjamin gets Kingston on the top rope and he follows him up there, Kingston gets Benjamin off the ropes before landing a tornado DDT on him. Woods and Alexander are tagged in by their respective partners, Woods quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team.

Woods gets Alexander out of the ring before landing a drop kick on him a short time later, Woods gets Alexander back in the ring before landing a missile drop kick for a near fall. Woods picks Alexander up before nailing him with a chop, Alexander fights back and Kingston tags into the match. Kingston nails Alexander with a missile drop kick for another near fall, Benjamin returns and he cracks Woods with a knee strike. Alexander gets Kingston out of the ring before taking him out with multiple suicide dives, Benjamin tags into the match and he nails Kingston with a clothesline on the arena floor. Benjamin sends Kingston into the ring post before getting him in the ring, Benjamin then hits Kingston with an Angle Slam for a near fall. Alexander tags back in and he double teams Kingston with Benjamin before landing a brain buster for another near fall, Kingston fights back and he nails Alexander with a super kick before hitting Benjamin with a Trouble In Paradise. Woods tags in and Alexander is hit with day Break for a three count.

Winners: The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods), still the Raw Tag Team Champions

- Sheamus approaches Drew McIntyre backstage and he talks about McIntyre’s Scottish ancestry, Sheamus gives McIntyre a chest and McIntyre opens it and his old gear is in it. Sheamus then presents McIntyre with a sword and McIntyre thanks him for everything.

- Retribution is backstage before the next match, Mustafa Ali says a pawn can defeat a king and Reckoning says Retribution is one step ahead of everybody. Ali says all the members of Team Raw are spineless cowards, Ali says all Retribution has to stand back and watch Team Raw implode.

Team Raw (Sheamus, Keith Lee, Riddle & Braun Strowman) w/ AJ Styles & Jordan Omogbehin vs. Retribution (Mustafa Ali, T-Bar, Mace & Slapjack)

The match begins with Riddle scoring a takedown on Slapjack, Slapjack and Riddle get into a chain wrestling session until they get tangled in the ropes. Riddle goes for a sleeper hold on Slapjack before landing some gut wrench suplexes, T-Bar tags in and Riddle nails him with an overhead kick followed by forearm strikes. T-Bar attacks Lee and Riddle nails him with an exploder suplex followed by a Broton for a near fall, Sheamus and Strowman argue on the arena floor and Styles gets in between them to make peace. Sheamus and Strowman shove Styles into Omogbehin as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see T-Bar working over Riddle for a near fall. Slapjack tags in and Riddle gets triple teamed in the ring, Ali tags in and he attacks Riddle while taunting Styles. Ali then hits Riddle with a neck breaker for a near fall, Ali corners Riddle while kicking away at him and tagging T-Bar in. T-Bar stomps away on and chokes a downed Riddle, Mace tags in and he double teams Riddle with T-Bar for a near fall. Slapjack tags back in and he kicks a downed Riddle in the back, Riddle fights back and he gets Slapjack in an ankle lock .

Slapjack gets free and he cracks Riddle with a head kick, Riddle fights back and he drops Slapjack before Lee and Ali are tagged in by their respective partners. Lee quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Lee throws Slapjack into T-Bar and Mace. Lee picks up Slapjack before hitting Retribution members with him, Mace and T-Bar drag Lee out of the ring so Ali can hit him with a suicide dive. Lee is tossed back in the ring and Ali gets a near fall on him, Strowman attacks Retribution members with shoulder tackles before Sheamus takes one out with a Brogue Kick. Sheamus tags in and Strowman tags himself in a short time later, Strowman and Sheamus argue before Strowman knocks him out of the ring. Riddle tags in and Strowman shoves him down, Ali shoves Riddle into Strowman before rolling him up for a three count.

Winners: Retribution (Mustafa Ali, T-Bar, Mace & Slapjack)

- Nikki Cross is backstage and she is looking for Alexa Bliss, Sarah Schreiber interviews Cross and she says that she won’t give up on Bliss. Cross says she has to get Alexa away from The Fiend, Schreiber then bumps into Jeff Hardy and he shows her a wanted flyer allegedly made by Elias.

- Elias is playing his guitar in the locker room when Jeff Hardy confronts him about the flyers, Hardy says he didn’t hit Elias with the car. Elias says Hardy is the only one who knows what happened because it was Hardy who did it, Hardy says he’ll be guilty of a lot worse things if Elias continues accusing him.

- The Miz & John Morrison get microphones before the next match, Miz recaps his history with Bray Wyatt and he says everything should be water under the bridge. Miz says there shouldn’t be a match tonight and they should find a peaceful solution, Miz says Wyatt should work together with him to get revenge on Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton. Alexa Bliss interrupts and she tells them that Wyatt doesn’t accept the offer, Nikki Cross finds Bliss and they have a talk before Bliss attacks her. They continue brawling until WWE officials break it up, Wyatt interrupts and he heads to the ring with Bliss.

The Miz w/ John Morrison vs. Bray Wyatt w/ Alexa Bliss

The match begins with Wyatt offering Miz forgiveness and Miz nails him with a series of strikes, Wyatt fights back and he drops Miz. Miz recovers and he kicks Wyatt in the face before choking him on the middle rope, Morrison interferes and he attacks Wyatt before being scared off by Bliss. Wyatt drops Miz before nailing him with a bunch of strikes, Wyatt gets Miz out of the ring and he throws him into the ring steps before getting him back into the ring. Miz fights back and he nails Wyatt with a top rope axe handle smash, Miz then hits Wyatt with a short drop DDT for a near fall. Miz keeps Wyatt down while attacking him with more strikes, Miz follows up by attacking Wyatt with It Kicks. Wyatt avoids an It Kick before missing a Sister Abigail attempt, Wyatt then hits Miz with a clothesline followed by an avalanche and cross body block. Wyatt follows up by nailing Miz with a uranage and a neck snap, Morrison interferes again and Bliss attacks him. Miz attacks Wyatt from behind before landing a corner clothesline, Wyatt then hits Miz with Sister Abigail for a three count.

Winner: Bray Wyatt w/ Alexa Bliss

After the match, an image of The Fiend appears on the big screen.

- A video package airs on the history of Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton.

- Charly Caruso interviews Adam Pearce, who says that Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke won’t be competing at WWE Survivor Series ’20 while announcing that Lacey Evans and Peyton Royce will replace them. Asuka is interviewed next and she is excited to be facing Sasha Banks at WWE Survivor Series ’20.

- Charly Caruso interviews Randy Orton, who says there are a lot of distractions in front of him.

- Angel Garza is backstage and he compares all the women in the world to the rose garden he had as a kid.

- Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler are backstage talking about their actions earlier in the night, Baszler says she and Jax don’t need anyone on their team. Lacey Evans and Peyton Royce arrive and their meeting with Jax and Baszler doesn’t go well.

WWE Championship
Randy Orton (c) vs. Drew McIntyre

The match begins with Orton getting McIntyre in a headlock, McIntyre gets free and he gets Orton into a headlock. Orton gets free and McIntyre drops him with a shoulder tackle, Orton attacks McIntyre with a few strikes and McIntyre lands some of his own. McIntyre then drops Orton with a Glasgow Kiss before landing more strikes, McIntyre picks up Orton before nailing him with another Glasgow Kiss followed by a spine buster for a near fall. Orton leaves the ring and he tries heading backstage with his championship, McIntyre attacks Orton before sending him into the barricade. McIntyre gets Orton back in the ring and he misses a Claymore Kick attempt, Orton heads backstage again and Adam Pearce comes out to announce the match will no be a no count out/no DQ match as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see McIntyre and Orton exchanging strikes in the middle of the ring, McIntyre eventually drops Orton with a clothesline. Orton recovers and he nails McIntyre with a modified back breaker, Orton leaves the ring and he returns with a steel chair.

Orton immediately attacks McIntyre with multiple steel chair shots, Orton holds McIntyre down while attacking his injured jaw with the steel chair. Orton goes right back to attacking McIntyre with steel chair shots before getting a near fall on a few pin attempts, Orton drags McIntyre out of the ring before dropping him on top of the barricade. Orton grabs the steel ring steps and he hits McIntyre in the head with them, Orton gets McIntyre in the ring to get a near fall on a pin attempt. Orton keeps McIntyre down while stomping away on him, Orton then hits McIntyre with a knee drop for a near fall. Orton gets McIntyre back out of the ring and he follows him out there, Orton follows up by dropping McIntyre onto the announce table. Orton mounts McIntyre on the announce table before landing multiple strikes on him, Orton gets off the announce table and he drops McIntyre back on it for a second time. McIntyre fights back and he cracks Orton with a few strikes, McIntyre also drops Orton onto the announce table a few times. McIntyre goes for a Claymore Kick and he crashes onto the announce table, Orton sets up a table on the arena floor as McIntyre recovers.

McIntyre gets up and he attacks Orton by sending him into the ring steps, McIntyre gets Orton in the ring and Orton quickly drops him before getting a near fall on a pin attempt. Orton holds McIntyre down while applying a chin lock to him, McIntyre gets free and he nails Orton with more strikes. McIntyre then hits Orton with multiple overhead belly to belly suplexes, McIntyre also nails Orton with a leaping neck breaker. McIntyre goes for a Future Shock DDT and Orton avoids it, McIntyre goes to the top rope and Orton attacks him before meeting him up there. Orton nails McIntyre with a superplex before getting a near fall on a pin attempt, Orton looks for the RKO and McIntyre rolls him up before landing a Future Shock DDT for a near fall. McIntyre gets Orton up and Orton gets to the ring apron, McIntyre cracks Orton with a few strikes before putting him through the table on the arena floor. McIntyre gets Orton back in the ring to get a near fall on a pin attempt, McIntyre goes for a Claymore Kick and Orton counters with a power slam. McIntyre and Orton leave the ring and Orton nails McIntyre with a draping DDT on the arena floor, Orton drags McIntyre back into the ring before landing a second draping DDT. Orton goes for the RKO and McIntyre counters with a Claymore Kick for a three count.
