- As Braun Strowman & Bronson Reed brawled near a merch stand backstage, Joe Tessitore & Wade Barrett welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning into the opening segment.
- Judgment Day's Dominik Mysterio & WWE Women's World Champion Liv Morgan kicked off the show with a victory lap after beating down The Terror Twins (Rhea Ripley & Damian Priest) last week. Morgan said she promised to take everything from Ripley and that is what she did. Ripley interrupted and said she had something to say: that Dominik had finally found his "cojones". Ripley revealed that at WWE Bad Blood, Dominik would be locked inside a Shark Cage for the match between Liv Morgan & Ripley for the Women's World Title. Ripley then hit a vicious Swinging Headbutt on Morgan after the announcement.
- Sami Zayn def. Ludwig Kaiser via Pinfall (Helluva Kick).
- WWE World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER confronted Zayn to tease a title match for tonight; however, this was bait from GUNTHER and said the title match would not happen tonight.
- Kofi Kingson met with Xavier Woods, where Kingston brought the Booty-Os and Francesca The Trombone to try and regain their peak; however, Woods said that he wanted The New Day to "lock in" to finally regain the tag titles after three years. American Made (Chad Gable, Julius Creed, Brutus Creed & Ivy Nile) made fun of New Day's issues, which led to Woods challenging The Creed Brothers to a match tonight. A guy with New Day attire appeared with a haint plate of Pancakes, but Kingston told him to leave.
- There was a vignette recapping the road of Jey Uso & WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker ahead of their title match tonight.
- Liv Morgan & Dominik Mysterio complained to Raw General Manager Adam Pearce regarding Dominik being in a Shark Cage, but Pearce responded by saying the decision was final. After that, they joined Carlito Colón & JD McDonagh backstage before McDonagh confronted Ilja Dragunov backstage to talk trash; however, Dragunov said McDonagh would not do anything. McDonagh then said he would see him down the road.
- Dragon Lee (w/ Rey Mysterio, Zelina Vega, Cruz del Toro & Joaquin Wilde) def. Carlito Colón (w/ Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh) via Pinfall (Destino).
- Karrion Kross met with The Miz, where Kross said many did not believe in Miz. Kross told Mz to do whatever it took to pick up the win because monsters come in all shapes & sizes.
- Cathy Kelly interviewed Sheamus backstage, where he said he was happy people were calling Pete Dunne "Butch" and said wanted an English and Irish thing between himself and The Bruiserweight.
- Bronson Reed was making his entrance for his match against The Miz, but Braun Strowman attacked Reed from out of nowhere. Miz tried to stop Strowmanm but Reed caught both of them with a Tope Suicida. Reed stacked two security guards onto each other before they continued to brawl. Strowman then hit a Shotgun Dropkick to send Reed to the outside and body-slammed multiple guards before Reed retreated.
- Drew McIntyre came to the ring to address CM Punk's promo from the 9/16 edition of Monday Night Raw. McIntyre said he had reflected on Punk's words and he had been told by friends and family to not get in the Hell In A Cell Match at WWE Bad Blood, but McIntyre said the match would proceed. McIntyre then said it was apropos that Punk called himself "The Devil" because it had always been Good versus Evil; however, McIntyre said Punk was just a man he would easily break at WWE Hell In A Cell.
- Jackie Redmond interviewed Adam Pearce, where he revealed Bronson Reed & Braun Strowman would have a "Last Man Standing" Match next week. After that announcement, Pearce tried to stop Pete Dunne from attacking Sheamus, but Dunne still attacked Sheamus with a cricket bat.
- Damage CTRL's Sky Pirates (Iyo Sky & Kairi Sane) were confronted by WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair. Belair gave props to Sky for winning last week, but Sky said the next time they face each other, they would take the titles from them.
- Damage CTRL's Sky Pirates (Iyo Sky & Kairi Sane) def. Unholy Union (Isla Dawn & Alba Fyre) via Pinfall (Moonsault Press from Sky on Dawn).
- Cathy Kelley interviewed WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker ahead of his title match tonight against Jey Uso. Breakker said someone deserved to hold the title and be the workhorse, but Breakker said that it would not be anyone that would whoop his ass and vowed to retain the title.
- There was a vignette of a ring of fire with the acronym "PRF".
- WWE ran back the video vignette of Cody Rhodes confronting Roman Reigns in a football stadium in Atlanta, Georgia that aired on the 9/20 edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
- Sami Zayn met with Jey Uso backstage to motivate him for his match tonight.
- The Creed Brothers (Julius Creed & Brutus Creed) (w/ Chad Gable & Ivy Nile) def. The New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) via Pinfall (Brutus Bomb).
- Damian Priest had a vignette ahead of his match against Finn Balor. Priest asked himself if he was his brother's keeper; however, Priest concluded that Balor was not his brother and stated the following in Spanish: "Yo soy tu parca y en Bad Blood, te voy a arrancar el corazon (I am your reaper and at Bad Blood, I'm gonna rip your heart out)."
- There was a new vignette of The Wyatt Sicks with the following message: "I am but dust, a worm, a rebel. You can cast your light of countenance upon me and say I shall love you, the words of The Red. You speak, we follow. My life for you".
- There was a vignette for Pure Fusion Collective (Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark & Shayna Baszler).
- Latino World Order (Dragon Lee, Rey Mysterio, Zelina Vega, Cruz del Toro & Joaquin Wilde) met with Xavier Woods to apologize to The New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingson); however, Woods took offense as they cost them the tag titles last week. Mysterio then challenged Woods to a match next week, which Woods accepted.
- There was a video package promoting the "Last Monster Standing" match between Bronson Reed & Braun Strowman for next week.
- WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Jey Uso def. Bron Breakker (c) via Pinfall (Uso Splash) to win the title.
