Live Coverage

The show begins and our commentary team of Jimmy Smith, Byron Saxton and Corey Graves welcome us to tonight’s show. Becky Lynch makes her way down to the ring. Lynch says says fans wanted her downfall and they almost got it but luckily for her, she feeds off of people’s spite. Lynch says the odds are always against her and it’ll be business as usual this Sunday at Hell In A Cell. Lynch says she graciously gave Asuka the RAW Women’s Championship in 2020. Lynch says she gave Asuka the title because she knew it was an easy win for her when she returned. Asuka’s music hits and she comes down to the ring. Asuka says Big Time Becks is a Big Time Baby. RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair then makes her way down to the ring. Belair says her title isn’t going anywhere and Lynch cracks her with a punch and the brawl ensues between the three. Everyone separates and we head to a commercial break ahead of our opening contest of the evening.

Bianca Belair vs. Asuka

Becky Lynch joins commentary for this one. Belair drills Asuka with a shoulder to start. Belair launches Asuka across the ring and into the corner before walloping Asuka with a boot to the face. Asuka trips Belair to the mat and applies an ankle lock. Belair rolls out and gets Asuka into a cross-face. Belair gets up and plants Asuka with a suplex then a standing moonsault before going for the cover but Asuka kicks out. Belair sends Asuka to the outside and we head to a commercial break.

Back from the break and Belair drills Asuka with a cross-body. Asuka trips Belair and goes up top, Belair follows her up, Asuka knocks Belair back to the mat and hits her with a missile drop-kick then goes for the cover but Belair kicks out. Asuka sends Belair to the corner, Belair slides out and lifts Asuka for the KOD but Asuka evades and Bianca sends her to the outside. Lynch gets in Asuka’s face and yells at her, Belair goes to the outside and sends Asuka back in. Asuka hits a super kick out of nowhere and goes for the cover but Belair lifts the shoulders after a two-count. Asuka looks for the Asuka Lock, Belair powers out and plants Asuka with a front suplex and looks for a standing moonsault but Asuka rolls out. Asuka trips Belair by Belair comes back with a roll up for the 1-2-3!

Winner - Bianca Belair

After the match, Becky Lynch rushes the ring and takes out both Belair and Asuka and stands tall with the RAW Women’s Championship.

We then see a video package highlighting the feud between Kevin Owens, Ezekiel and Chad Gable.

Back at the ringside area, Rey and Dominik Mysterio make their way down to the ring and they’ll be in six-man tag action, after the break.

Ezekiel, Rey Mysterio & Dominik Mysterio vs. Kevin Owens & Alpha Academy (Chad Gable & Otis)

Rey and Gable start this one off. Gable applies a headlock to start. Rey slides out and plants Gable with a flying head scissors and makes the tag to Dominik. Gable wallops Dominik with a belly-to-belly suplex and goes for the cover but Dominik kicks out. Dominik plants Gable with an arm drag and Gable spills to the outside. Owens attacks Dominik on the outside of the ring but Dominik, Rey and Ezekiel all go after the heels but Dominik gets tossed off the top rope by Gable and we head to a commercial break.

Back from the break and Owens and Dominik are the legal competitors back in the ring. Owens locks in a sharpshooter but Rey comes in and breaks the hold. Otis makes the self tag and drills Dominik with a slam then goes for a second rope splash but Dominik evades and makes the tag to Ezekiel, who takes everyone out and drills Owens with a running knee. Everyone starts to brawl, Gable’s now the legal man for his team and he gets drilled with a double-619 from Rey and Dominik and Ezekiel plants him with a brain-buster for the three-count!

Winners - Ezekiel, Rey Mysterio & Dominik Mysterio

After the match, Owens starts throwing things around at the commentary desk and eventually makes his exit.

We then see a video package highlighting Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins’ feud over the past number of weeks. Back at the ringside area, Cody Rhodes makes his way down to the ring and we’ll heard from ‘The American Nightmare’, after the break.

Back from the break and Cody Rhodes is in the ring. Cody says he’s always been a Seth Rollins fan and he always knew Rollins had the potential to be the face of the company and admits he was nervous facing Rollins in his return match at WrestleMania 38. Cody says he had to be at the top of his game to beat Rollins at Mania and he’s proven himself to be the better man which has clearly bothered Rollins. Cody says Rollins is a desperate man who’s now resorting to desperate measures and says his match against Rollins inside Hell In A Cell will be the biggest challenge of his career. Rollins’ music hits and he comes through the crowd. Rollins says he doesn’t like Cody and doesn’t want him around anymore. Rollins says he tried his hardest to like this version it Cody but he just couldn’t get around to doing so. Rollins says Cody left WWE because he wasn’t good enough then he and his friends tried to tear down everything Rollins has helped build by creating a new company but when that ‘didn’t work out’, Cody came ‘crawling back’. Rollins says Cody doesn’t get to take a sledgehammer and destroy the throne then come back and try to take the throne away from him. Rollins says he’ll end Cody once and for all at Hell In A Cell and then everyone can wake up from this ‘American Nightmare’. Rollins comes down to the ring then stops at the barricade and laughs before telling Cody that he’ll see him on Sunday night.

It's then announced that Alexa Bliss will be in action, after the break.

Alexa Bliss vs. Doudrop (with Nikki A.S.H.)

Bliss nails Doudrop with some forearms to start. Doudrop powers back and drills Bliss with a shoulder strike then tosses Bliss to the corner and wallops her with a splash. Doudrop slams Bliss to the mat and applies a cobra clutch, Bliss slides out but Doudrop plants her with a back-body drop then goes for the cover but Bliss kicks out. Doudrop with a headbutt then reapplies the clutch. Bliss gets tossed into the corner but evades a splash from Doudrop and cracks her with a running knee then a pair of drop-kicks to the legs and Doudrop crashes down to the mat.

Doudrop catches Bliss, who attempted a cross-body and slams her down to the mat but Bliss slides out of a follow-up senton. Doudrop trips Bliss to the mat and goes for the Vader Bomb but Bliss slides out, Nikki distracts from the apron but Bliss knocks her to the outside, goes up top and hits Doudrop with the Twisted Bliss and gets the 1-2-3!

We then see a video package highlighting the feud between Bobby Lashley, Omos and MVP.

Back at the ringside area, The Miz makes his way down to the ring and he’s set to host Miz TV, after the break.

Back from the break and we see some highlights of Lacey Evans being a guest at NASCAR’s Coca-Cola 600 from Lowes Motor Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina, over the weekend.

Back to the arena and The Miz is in the ring, hosting the latest episode of Miz TV. The Miz welcomes out his guests of the evening, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins of the Street Profits. Both Ford and Dawkins come down to the ring and Ford says he’s excited to see his wife, RAW Women’s Champion, Bianca Belair defend her title against Asuka and Becky Lynch this Sunday at Hell In A Cell. Ford and Dawkins ask Miz what he’s most excited about this Sunday and they cut him off with The Rock’s, ‘IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK!’. 24/7 Champion Dana Brooke rushed down and Akira Tozawa is chasing after here. T-Bar comes out of nowhere and plants Tozawa with a slam. Ford drills T-Bar with a super kick. R-Truth and Apollo Crews come down and join the action. Everyone’s brawling and Tamina comes down and drills Brooke with a Samoan Drop and gets the three-count to win the 24/7 Championship!

We then see a video package highlighting the feud between United States Champion, Theory, Mustafa Ali and Ciampa.

United States Champion, Theory makes his way down to the ring and he’ll be in action, after the break.

Mustafa Ali vs. Ciampa (with Austin Theory)

A striking exchange to start. Ciampa cracks AlI with a shoulder strike then a back elbow and a running knee before going for the cover but Ali kicks out. Ciampa applies a headlock, Ali slides out but gets hit with a clothesline. Ciampa goes to the middle rope and rocks AlI with a diving elbow then follows up with some stomps. Ciampa sends Ali to the corner then goes for a clothesline but Ali slides out, Ciampa rolls to the outside and Ali dives on him through the ropes. Ali tosses Ciampa back into the ring and goes up top but Theory knocks him off the top rope to cause the disqualification.

Winner - Mustafa Ali (via DQ)

After the match, Theory continues his attack on Ali and grabs a microphone and tells Ali that he can have his United States Championship right here, right now.

We then go to a commercial break ahead of the title match.

Theory (C) vs. Mustafa Ali — United States Championship

Theory plants Ali with a back-body drop right as the bell sounds and goes for the cover but Ali kicks out. Theory launches Ali to the corner and then to the opposite corner. Ali comes back with a tornado DDT then goes up top but Theory trips him and plants him with the ATL for the three-count!

Winner - Theory (STILL United States Champion)

After the match, WWE official Adam Pearce comes down to the ring and says Vince McMahon was impressed with Theory’s psychological prowess but wants to see what Theory can do in a fair matchup. Pearce says Ali will get a rematch for the United States Championship against Theory, this Sunday at Hell In A Cell.

We then go to a commercial break before Shinsuke Nakamura and Riddle face the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, The Usos.

The Usos (Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura & Riddle

Riddle and Jimmy start this one off. Riddle cracks Jimmy with a few kicks then plants him with a gut wrench suplex. Nakamura makes the self tag and he and Riddle plant Jimmy with a double-slam before Nakamura goes for the cover but Jimmy kicks out. Jimmy makes the tag to Jey, who gets cracked with a running knee by Shinsuke and Shinsuke makes the tag to Riddle, who plants Jey with a fisherman suplex into a pin attempt but Jey rolls out. Riddle applies a kimura but Jey slides out and makes the tag to Jimmy. Jey hits Riddle with a Samoan Drop on his way out and Jimmy makes the cover but Riddle kicks out. Jey chokes Riddle with the bottom rope as Jimmy distracts the referee and Jimmy clocks Riddle with a forearm to the corner and makes the tag to Jey.

The Usos double-team Riddle in their corner but Riddle fends them off long enough to make the tag to Nakamura. Both Usos get taken out by Nakamura and Nakamura drills Jimmy with a German suplex then goes to the middle rope and cracks Jimmy with a diving knee before going for the cover but Jimmy lifts the shoulders after a count of two. Nakamura goes for the Kinshasa but Jey cheap shots him, Jimmy uses the distraction to mail Nakamura with a super kick then goes up top and lands a splash before going for the cover but Riddle makes the save and we head to a commercial break.

Back from the break and Nakamura is working over Jey in the center of the ring. Nakamura makes the tag to Riddle and Riddle takes out both Usos. Jimmy makes the tag to Jey, Riddle plants him with a suplex then a senton and goes for the middle role DDT but Jey trips him and sends him to the outside. Nakamura makes the self tag and drills Jey with the Kinshasa and goes for the cover but Jimmy makes the save. Riddle makes a self tag and hits the middle rope DDT on Jey and looks for the RKO but Jey makes the save and hits Riddle with a super kick. Jimmy cheap shots Riddle with Riddle’s own scooter and the referee caught it and The Usos are disqualified!

Winners - Shinsuke Nakamura & Riddle

After the match, The Usos attack Nakamura and riddle but the faces get the better of the champions and The Usos retreat.

We then see a video package highlighting the feud between Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan from the past number of weeks.

Back at the ringside area, Liv Morgan comes down to the ring and she’ll face Rhea Ripley, after the break.

Back from the break and we see highlights of Titus O’Neil making a trip to the Indy 500 from this past weekend.

We then see Mustafa Ali, backstage being interviewed by Kevin Patrick. Ali starts to talk but gets attacked from behind by United States Champion, Theory. The champion takes selfies with Ali.

We then head back to the ringside area and we see a nice tribute video for Memorial Day ahead of our next matchup of the evening.

Liv Morgan (with AJ Styles) vs. Rhea Ripley (with Damian Priest)

Morgan goes on the attack early with a drop-kick. Morgan looks for a rear-naked choke but Ripley backs her up into the corner to forge the break. Ripley drills Morgan with a slam but Morgan comes back with another drop-kick. Morgan goes for a hurricanrana but Ripley catches her and tosses her to the outside and into the barricade and we head to a commercial break.

Back from the break and Morgan rolls Ripley up but Ripley kicks out. A back and forth ensued and Morgan misses a step-up enziguri, Ripley goes for a spear but Morgan avoids and goes shoulder-first into the ring post and spills to the outside. Morgan goes up top and hits a diving cross-body on Ripley on the outside. Morgan lines Ripley up for ObLIVion but Ripley slides out and goes for the Riptide but Morgan evades and nails Ripley with a backstabber then a roll up for the 1-2-3!

Winner - Liv Morgan

After the match, Priest and Styles brawl on the outside. Balor comes down to fight off Priest and the faces stand tall to end the segment.

Commentary then announces that AJ Styles, Finn Balor and Liv Morgan will face The Judgement Day this Sunday at Hell In A Cell.

Commentary then runs down this Sunday’s Hell In A Cell card.

Back at the ringside area, Bobby Lashley makes his way down to the ring and he’ll sign the contract, alongside Omos and MVP for their match at Hell In A Cell, after the break.

Back from the break and Omos and MVP make their way down to the ring. MVP says he did everything he could possibly do for Lashley and this Sunday at Hell In A Cell, there’s no rules to protect Lashley. MVP says The Almighty exists because of him and it’s about to end because of him. Lashley calls MVP a leech and says he considered MVP a friend. MVP yells at Lashley and says they were brothers but Lashley turned his back on him. Everyone signs the contract. Lashley throws the table out of the ring, security rushes the ring but Lashley and Omos quickly take them all out. Cedric Alexander rushes the ring and Lashley immediately slams Alexander but Omos wallops Lashley with a running shoulder. Omos retrieves a table from burner the ring and sets it up in the corner of the ring. Omos tries to slam Lashley through it but Lashley rolls out and spears Omos through the table. Lashley celebrates as Omos is down and MVP looks on from afar as the show goes off the air!
