Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for tonight's edition of WWE RAW!
- We open tonight's show with the new RAW Women's champion Nikki Cross celebrating her cashing in her briefcase and defeating Charlotte for the title before she's interrupted by the former champion Charlotte who gets into the ring and tells Nikki that she stole her title from her and that she's going to get her title back when she gets her rematch at Summerslam before she's interrupted by Rhea Ripley. The four then exchange words before brawling and Nikki clears the ring before celebrating with the WWE Universe as Rhea and Charlotte recover at ringside and Nikki versus Charlotte with a title shot on the line is announced for later tonight as we go to commercial.
WWE United States Championship Number One Contender Match
Damian Priest vs Sheamus
Sheamus takes Damian down with a side headlock take over before dropping him with a shoulder block and Damian drops him with a jumping knee before hitting a deep arm drag into a straight armbar before clotheslining Sheamus over the top rope and down onto the floor and booting him off of the apron before teasing a tope. Sheamus then catches Damian when he goes for a tornado kick and drops him across the edge of the apron as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Sheamus in control of Damian on the mat before Damian clotheslines him and hits chokeslam before Sheamus counters Hit the Lights into an Alabama slam for two before getting a near fall off of a Brogue Kick and Damian hits Hit the Lights for the pin and the win.
Winner: Damian Priest defeats Sheamus via pinfall to earn a shot at Sheamus' United States title at Summerslam.
WWE RAW Tag Team Championship Match
AJ Styles & Omos (c) vs Viking Raiders
VR immediately double up on AJ before Omos saves him and takes out VR at ringside as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Omos in control of Erik back in the ring with a Von Erich claw before tagging in AJ who locks in a rear chin lock and Erik drops him with a stiff right hand before tagging in Ivar who runs over AJ and hits a powerslam into a running cross body before dodging a Phenomenal Forearm. Ivar clotheslines AJ and gets superkicked before AJ hits a tornado DDT for two before VR isolate AJ until he gets the hot tag to Omos who hits a scoop slam and a running back elbow in the corner before booting Ivar and tossing him out of the ring. Omos then drops Erik with a back elbow in the corner before finishing him with a tree slam and tagging in AJ who pins him with a springboard 450 for the pin and the win.
Winner: AJ Styles and Omos retain their RAW Tag Team titles by defeating the Viking Raiders via pinfall.
Drew McIntyre vs Veer (w/ Jinder Mahal & Shanky)
The two lock up before Veer backs Drew into the corner and drops him before locking in a cravat and Drew gets to his feet before hitting an overhead belly to belly and a neckbreaker and Veer hits Drew in the throat before Jinder hands Veer a chair and he grabs it and Drew hits a Claymore that sends it right into his face. The referee then calls for the bell because Veer brought the chair into the ring.
Winner: Drew McIntyre defeats Veer via disqualification.
- After the match Drew lays out Shanky with the Claymore Kick as Veer and Jinder look on from the ramp.
WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Number One Contender Match
Natalya & Tamina vs Doudrop & Eva Marie
Natty and Eva start the match before Eva quickly tags out and tags in Doudrop who counters a waist lock take down and drops Natty repeatedly before they exchange pin attempts and Tamina comes in and gets dropped with a running cross body before Eva comes in for the cover for a near fall. We then get a video on the big screen where Alexa mocks Eva which distracts her before Tamina pins her with a superkick for the win.
Winner: Natalya and Tamina defeat Eva Marie and Doudrop via pinfall.
Keith Lee vs Karrion Kross
Keith immediately overpowers Karrion and hits an overhead belly to belly and a clothesline before clotheslining him over the top rope and down onto the floor before Karrion hits an overhead suplex at ringside as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Karrion in control before Keith comes back with digging strikes and Karrion hits a DDT for two before locking in the Kross Jacket that Keith fights out of and clotheslines Karrion before rocking him with strikes and headbutt before hitting a running splash in the corner and running Karrion over and across the ring. Keith then calls for the Spirit Bomb before Karrion hits a Doomsday Saito and his running elbow to the back of the neck before locking in the Kross Jacket and forcing Keith to tap for the win.
Winner: Karrion Kross defeats Keith Lee via submission.
Mace & T-Bar vs Mustafa Ali & Mansoor
T-Bar immediately turns Mustafa inside out with a boot for an early near fall before he and Mace isolate Mustafa until he gets the hot tag to Mansoor who lays into Mace with strikes and an enzuigiri before hitting a reverse DDT for a near fall that T-Bar breaks up and sends Mansoor out of the ring. Mustafa then takes out T-Bar at ringside before Mansoor pins Mace with a clutch for the win.
Winner: Mansoor and Mustafa Ali defeat T-Bar and Mace via pinfall.
- We go to the ring as WWE champion Bobby Lashley and MVP come out to the ring to address Goldberg's challenge for the title at Summerslam before Bobby says that it's his ring, and he won't be disrespected by anyone, and that he's not going to give Goldberg's challenge a response. Bobby and MVP are next interrupted by Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin before the two get into the ring and lobby for a match before MVP tells them that Bobby doesn't have time for them before Bobby says he'll take them both on at the same time.
Bobby Lashley (w/ MVP) vs Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin
Bobby immediately takes out Shelton and hits Cedric with a spine buster before tossing him out of the ring and dropping Shelton in the corner before driving Cedric into the post and tossing him back inside before Cedric grabs Bobby's ankle and Shelton rocks him with a jumping knee before Cedric drops Bobby. Cedric and Shelton then cover Bobby for a near fall before spearing Shelton and hitting a Jackhammer to Shelton and a Dominator to Cedric onto Shelton before covering them both for the pin and the win.
Winner: Bobby Lashley defeats Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander via pinfall.
Riddle vs John Morrison (w/ The Miz)
The two grapple on the mat until Riddle locks in an ankle lock and John gets free before Riddle hits an exploder for two before kicking John in the corner and suplexing him before Miz sprays him with water and John rolls him up for a near fall before Riddle hits a jumping knee and takes out Miz with a PK from the apron as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Riddle still in control as AJ and Omos make their way out to ringside before John counters an RKO and drops Riddle with a leg lariat before Riddle hits a Final Flash for a near fall before going up top and Omos breaks Riddle's scooter before John slams Riddle and hits Starship Pain for the pin and the win.
Winner: John Morrison defeats Riddle via pinfall.
- After the match AJ and Omos lay out Riddle.
WWE 24/7 Championship Match
Reginald (c) vs R-Truth
Reggie does several flips before R blinds him with his blazer before R misses a kick and gets caught up in the ropes before Reggie hits a running, front flip seated senton for the pin and the win.
Winner: Reginald retains his 24/7 title by defeating R-Truth via pinfall.
WWE RAW Women's Championship Number One Contender Match
Nikki Cross vs Charlotte Flair
Charlotte takes control early before repeatedly sending Nikki out of the ring and stomping her as soon as she gets back inside before being counted out before Charlotte hits her with forearms and stomps her down in the corner before Nikki gets several two counts and hits a head scissors that sends Charlotte out of the ring. Charlotte then attacks Nikki and beats on her at ringside before throwing her across the announce table and going back into the ring to pose as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Charlotte in control of Nikki on the ground as she woman handles her and locks in a rear chin lock before Nikki gets to her feet and comes back with a diving cross body off of the apron and gets two off of a neckbreaker and a bulldog before Charlotte comes back with a flurry of chops in the corner. Charlotte then sets Nikki up top before Nikki fights her off and hits a tornado DDT before going up top and hitting a diving cross body that Charlotte rolls through for the pin and the win.
Winner: Charlotte defeats Nikki Cross via pinfall and earns a RAW Women's title opportunity at Summerslam.
- After the match the two exchange words before Charlotte teases a handshake and attacks Nikki before laying her out with a boot as we go off the air.
