- Joe Tessitore interviewed Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes ahead of his contract signing with Kevin Owens (moderated by Shawn Michaels) at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event. Rhodes said Michaels was the perfect person to moderate the contract signing and he would aim to main event WrestleMania 41 with the title. Regarding Kevin Owens, he put over Owens as a genius of a wrestler but thought it was frustrating Owens always took the easy way out but said their title match at the WWE Royal Rumble was the perfect way to settle things between the two. Rhodes said he had no problem punching Owens in the face before wishing him "good luck".
- Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson) spoke with WWE Tag Team Champions #DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tomasso Ciampa) regarding their strategy for tonight, but DIY told them to handle their business because Gargano had to handle Apollo Crews tonight. After that, Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Angel, Berto & Elektra Lopez) confronted Pretty Deadly before they headed to the ring for their match.
- Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) def. Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson) via Pinfall (Skull & Bones on Wilson).
- Matthew McConaughey was in the front row for the match.
- Nick Aldis was met with The Miz, where Aldis informed him he was moved to SmackDown. Miz was bamboozled by this as he had politicked to move The Wyatts to SmackDown and started to think Karrion Kross was involved, to which Aldis responded by saying Miz will need to make friends and fast.
- Kevin Owens appeared from the crowd to confront Joe Tessitore for not interviewing him but taking time out of his day to interview Cody Rhodes. He called him a "kiss ass" before confronting Matthew McConaughey and making fun of the Texas Longhorns. Jimmy Uso interrupted and stated that Owens talked too much before slapping him. Uso then challenged Owens to a match later tonight.
- Carmelo Hayes complained to Nick Aldis because he wanted to face Jimmy Uso, but Aldis told Hayes head a new signing made for him. Hayes did not want to get trapped like in his match against Braun Strowman and said he would stay around to see his opponent face-to-face.
- Michin & B-Fab def. Chelsea Green & Piper Niven via Pinfall (Eat Defeat from Michin on Green).
- Nick Aldis was with Carmelo Hayes, where Hayes's opponent was revealed to be none other than former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest. Hayes and Priest will face each other later tonight.
- There was a vignette for Charlotte Flair, who revealed she would make her return from injury on the 2025 Women's Royal Rumble.
- WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton cut a promo, where she said the Women's division would run on "Tiffy Time"; however, she was interrupted by WWE Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley. Ripley put over Stratton as champion but said her pinning Jax would not compare to what Ripley would do to her on WWE Saturday Night's Main Event. Nia Jax & Candice LeRae interrupted, with Jax saying she would enter the Women's Royal Rumble and win the Women's World Title at Saturday Night's Main Event. Naomi & Bianca Belair then announced they would enter the 2025 Women's Royal Rumble, but The Judgment Day (Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez) said they would enter the Women's Royal Rumble as well. This led to a brawl before the commercial break.
- Nia Jax, Candice LeRae & Liv Morgan (w/ Raquel Rodriguez) def. Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair & Naomi via Pinfall (Crucifix Pin from Morgan on Belair).
- Michin & B-Fab confronted Chelsea Green & Piper Niven, where Michin revealed she would have another shot at the WWE Women's United States title next week.
- Apollo Crews def. Johnny Gargano (w/ Tommaso Ciampa) via Pinfall (Schoolboy Roll-Up).
- The Bloodline (Jacob Fatu & Tama Tonga) cut a promo backstage, where Fatu said he was both Godzilla & King Kong before saying he would take out Braun Strowman. Before that, however, Fatu said Tama Tonga would be coming live and direct at LA Knight tonight.
- LA Knight def. Tama Tonga (w/ Jacob Fatu) via Pinfall (BFT).
- Jacob Fatu attacked LA Knight after the match, but he was interrupted by Braun Strowman. Strowman and Fatu had a staredown. Tonga tried to distract Strowman, but he took care of him before clotheslining Fatu out of the ring. Tonga held Fatu back from attacking Strowman.

- The Miz tried to recruit Andrade to join forces against The Wyatts. Andrade said he loved the idea but instead of accepting, he said he would relay the offer to someone else. Jimmy Uso then appeared and made fun of Miz for losing Andrade in the scouting process. Carmelo Hayes then confronted Uso and said it would take more than 4 moves to beat Kevin Owens, but Uso responded he would only need three moves to beat him next week in their match. Hayes & Uso then brawled on the ramp before the producers separated them. Uso then got to the ring for his match against Kevin Owens.
- Kevin Owens def. Jimmy Uso via Pinfall (Pop-Up Powerbomb).
- Kevin Owens tried to hit a Package Piledriver on Uso through the broadcast table, but Cody Rhodes made the save. Rhodes & Owens brawled to end the broadcast.
