On September 27, 2024, WWE hosted a new episode of Friday Night SmackDown on the USA Network from the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

- Match Six (Andrade Leads 3-2): Andrade El Ídolo vs. Carmelo Hayes.
- Solo Sikoa returns.
- "Michin" Mia Yim vs. Piper Niven.

- Michael Cole & Corey Graves welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning into the opening segment.
- Randy Orton kicked off things with a promo, saying that he found it odd that Cody Rhodes agreed to team with Roman Reigns before calling him to the ring. Rhodes appeared and said that while he was hesitant about teaming with Roman Reigns but said that the new version of The Bloodline needed to be killed and hoped Orton did not have a problem with that. Orton responded by saying it would not be a problem unless Rhodes made it a problem. Kevin Owens interrupted, but they were interrupted by The Bloodline (Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu). Sikoa said he was happy all three of them were in the ring before things broke up. Sikoa told Rhodes he better hope Roman Reigns could trust him because Orton & Owens would not be enough to stop The Bloodline and said the only reason he was teaming with Reigns was that Owens & Orton continued to let him down. Owens then challenged Fatu & Sikoa for tonight.
- WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax confronted Tiffany Stratton backstage, choking her regarding not being there to stop Jax from being pinned. Stratton said she was hurt and apologized, but Jax responded that if this ended badly for her, it would end badly for Stratton too.
- WWE Women's Championship - #1 Contender's Match: Bayley def. Naomi via Pinfall (Flying Elbow Drop).
- Andrade El Ídolo confronted LA Knight backstage and said he lost respect for Knight because he did not shake his hand after their match last week, but this led to Carmelo Hayes attacking Knight before calling out Andrade to the ring for their match.
- Carmelo Hayes def. Andrade El Ídolo via Pinfall (Schoolboy Roll-Up).
- LA Knight came to the ring to attack Carmelo Hayes, but this distracted Andrade. Hayes shoved Andrade onto Knight and got him in a Schoolboy for the pinfall win.
- Cody Rhodes met with Kevin Owens & Randy Orton to address any issues he had with Owens. Owens said there was a problem but they would handle it later because they had a match to focus on. After Owens left, Orton told Rhodes that if his help was needed, to please come to the ring but in the meantime, he would talk to Owens.
- There was a vignette for AJ Styles ahead of his WWE Return, set for next week.
- "Michin" Mia Yim def. Piper Niven (w/ Chelsea Green) via Pinfall (Eat Defeat).
- There was a video package previewing a Triple Threat Tag Ladder Match for next week.
- Bayley met with Naomi backstage, with Naomi congratulating Bayley on the win. Tiffany Stratton then confronted Naomi to make fun of her, but Naomi said she would go to Nick Aldis to get a match against her for next week.
- The Bloodline (Jacob Fatu & Solo Sikoa) (w/ Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa) def. Randy Orton & Kevin Owens (w/ Cody Rhodes) via Pinfall (Single-Leg Hook).
