-The New Day come out to the ring to start the show where they talk about the past five years together and about what happened to Kofi last week. They talk considering to walk away from the company and ask Mr.McMahon out to the ring to address them face to face. Mr.McMahon comes out to the ring before WWE champion Daniel Bryan and Rowan come out and tell Mr.McMahon not to waste his time. Daniel says that New Day is a stale novelty act and he should let them leave. Daniel says that Mr.McMahon's instincts about Kofi have been right and he's right and the people are wrong.
Daniel says that the people and Kofi refuse to accept the reality before Xavier says that he's a hypocrite before Mr.McMahon tells them to shut up. Mr.McMahon mocks them for talking about quitting and says that everyone loves the company and says that Kofi has no more opportunities and that if Xavier and Big-E can win a tag team gauntlet match tonight then Kofi is in the WWE Championship match at Wrestlemania as we go to commercial.
Smackdown! Women's Championship Match
Asuka (c) vs Charlotte
Charlotte backs Asuka into the ropes before taking her down by her hair and putting Asuka in a headlock before Asuka reverses it into one of her own. Asuka then kicks Charlotte and sends her out of the ring as we go to commercial.
Charlotte is in control as we return to the match before Asuka comes back with a DDT and a variety of punches and kicks before hitting a running hip attack into a German suplex and a shining wizard. Asuka kicks Charlotte in the back until she misses a running hip attack and Charlotte drops her with a boot for a near fall. Charlotte then misses a moonsault before countering the Asuka Lock, Asuka dropping her with a roundhouse kick for a near fall as we go to commercial.
Asuka gets a near fall off of a roll up before countering the Figure Eight and dropping her with a roundhouse kick another near fall. Charlotte catches Asuka up on the top turnbuckle and hits a Spanish fly for a near fall before Asuka goes for an armbar before transitioning into a triangle choke that Charlotte powers out of. Charlotte then hits a sit-out powerbomb for a near fall before locking in the Figure Eight for the tap and the win.
Winner: Charlotte defeats Asuka via submission with the Figure Eight to become the new Smackdown! Women's champion.
AJ Styles vs Kurt Angle
AJ almost immediately locks in a Calf Killer and Kurt nearly taps before locking an ankle lock, AJ reversing it and sending Kurt into the turnbuckle. Randy Orton then shows up out of nowhere and hits AJ with an RKO before Kurt hits Randy with an Olympic slam.
Winner: AJ Styles defeats Kurt Angle via disqualification when Randy Orton interferes.
-The Miz comes out to the ring and says that Shane made things personal with his attack on him and his father. Miz challenges Shane to a Falls Count Anywhere Match before Shane interrupts him, accompanied by security and several members of the Smackdown! Live roster. Shane demands that he be reintroduced before saying that the security is there for The Miz's benefit before mocking Miz's father. Shane says that he watches what he did to Miz all the time and he felt great when he beat Miz and his father in his home town. Shane accepts the match before insulting the Miz's parents and Miz rushes the stage, but he can't overcome SANITY on the ramp protecting Shane before he takes them out in the WWE Universe.
Shane then watches from the entryway before leaving as soon as Miz makes his way back to ringside as we go to commercial.
Gauntlet Match
New Day come out to the ring before their first opponents are revealed to be Gallows & Anderson. Xavier immediately kicks Karl as soon as the bell rings before pinning him with the UpUpDownDown for the elimination. Rusev and Shinsuke come down next and take control of Xavier until Rusev tosses him out of the ring as we go to commercial.
Rusev drives Xavier into the corner and tags in Shinsuke who hits Bad Vibrations and locks in a front choke before Xavier comes back with a jawbreaker and Shinsuke takes him down and knees him several times. Shinsuke chokes Xavier who knocks Rusev from the apron and counters a reverse exploder suplex before tagging Big-E in. Big-E splashes Shinsuke and sends Rusev into the steps before Rusev hits a roundhouse kick and Rusev suplexes him. Shinsuke then hits a running knee for a near fall that Xavier breaks up before Xavier hits a wrecking ball dropkick to Rusev at ringside and Big-E counters the Kinshasa before New Day hits UpUpDownDown for the pin and the elimination. The Bar then make their way out to the ring as we go to commercial.
We return to The Bar double teaming Big-E before Sheamus starts focusing on the leg of Big-E and Cesaro swings him before locking in a sharpshooter. Big-E kicks Cesaro out of the ring, but immediately runs back in and tags in Sheamus who stomps him down and keeps him from tagging in Xavier. Big-E sends Sheamus out of the ring and sends Cesaro off of the apron and tags in Xavier who drops Cesaro and hits a dropkick into the ropes before hitting Sheamus with a tornado DDT and a flipping senton to the outside. Xavier rolls Cesaro back into the ring and hits a diving leg drop for a near fall that Sheamus breaks up as we go to commercial.
We return to the action in the ring to Cesaro having Big-E in a single leg Boston crab before Sheamus gets the tag and Big-E powerbombs him. Xavier gets the tag and Cesaro rolls him up for a near fall before Sheamus kicks him from the apron and Cesaro gets another near fall. Xavier then rolls Sheamus up for the pin and the elimination. After the match The Bar beat on New Day before getting a table out from under the ring and setting it up in the ring before putting Big-E through the table as the Smackdown! Live Tag Team champions; The Usos make their way out to the ring. Xavier helps Big-E off of the table as the referee gets the pieces out of the ring before The Usos get on the mic and tell them good luck before forfeiting.
Winner: New Day defeat Gallows and Anderson, The Bar, The Usos and Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev.
Daniel Bryan and Rowan are then sends irate backstage where they trash a locker room as we go to commercial.
New Day vs Daniel Bryan & Rowan
Daniel and Rowan brutalize Big-E and Xavier at ringside before Daniel stomps on Big-E in the ring and locks in a single leg Boston crab. Xavier breaks up the hold and sends Rowan out of the ring before hitting a flipping senton before Big-E hits Daniel with a uranage and the Big Ending for a near fall that Rowan breaks up. Rowan hits a uranage of his own for a near fall and clears off the announce table before Xavier hits a tornado DDT to Daniel off of the apron. Xavier counters the Iron Claw and sends Rowan into the ring post before New Day push the table on top of Rowan and he cannot get back into the ring for the count out and the win.
Winner: New Day defeat Daniel Bryan and Rowan via count out when Rowan cannot get back into the ring before the count of ten to allow Kofi the title match against Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania.
