With this win, Fenix halts Moxley's reign with the AEW International Championship at 17 days. Moxley won the belt at the All Out pay-per-view, as he defeated Orange Cassidy and brought his historic reign to an end.
Furthermore, this is Fenix's first time winning a singles championship within the confines of All Elite Wrestling. Fenix is also a former AEW World Tag Team Champion.
