Rhea Ripley Dominates Akira Tozawa, Bayley Pins Becky Lynch | Raw Fight Size

Here is your post-Monday Night Raw fight size update for December 19, 2022:

- Akira Tozawa accompanied the Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) to the ring for their match against the Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Damian Priest). During the match, The Bloodline attacked Andre Chase backstage and smashed Elias with his own guitar. In the end, Ford pinned Balor, who was distracted after Tozawa threw his drink in Dominik's eyes. After the bell, Rhea Ripley dropped Tozawa with a punch. She then challenged him to a match. The Street Profits hyped Tozawa up, and he entered the ring, so the match was on. Ripley dominated Tozawa, but the former WWE 24/7 Champion took the fight to the Judgment Day member. Balor tripped him up at ringside, and the Street Profits dove onto Balor and Priest to take them out. Ripley ultimately pinned Tozawa with the Riptide.

- Becky Lynch battled Bayley in a singles match. The ringside presence of Bayley's Damage CTRL stablemates, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY, was a factor during the bout. In the end, even as the referee tried to eject Kai and SKY from ringside, the distraction gave Bayley enough room to blast Lynch in the head and pin her with The Rose Plant.

- Paul Heyman kicked off the show and introduced Roman Reigns. The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion said Owens keeps trying to crash the Island of Relevancy. Reigns said Owens will need the entire locker room. Reigns vowed to make Owens' life a living hell. The camera panned to The Usos and Sami Zayn beating people up backstage, and they continued to attack people throughout the night.

- Seth Rollins came to the ring in front of his fellow Iowans, and he was confronted by WWE United States Champion Austin Theory. They discussed their upcoming title match, and Rollins told Theory that he's not on his level. Theory fired back by telling Rollins he's the third-most successful member of The Shield, and while he's been to the mountaintop, but he fumbled the ball. Rollins responded by saying he is the mountaintop. The Usos arrived, and Theory left Rollins to fend for himself. Luckily for Rollins, Kevin Owens made the save. The duo then challenged The Usos to a match.

- Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins teamed up to face The Usos. The match kicked off with a heated brawl between the teams. In the culmination of the chaotic match, The O.C. (Karl Anderson & Luke Gakllows) came to the ring and brawled with Solo Sikoa when he tried to interfere. Austin Theory snuck up on Rollins and blasted him with a title shot to the head. Despite being down a man, Owens still scored the win for his team. Sami Zayn tried to blindside Owens after the match, but the former Universal Champion saw it coming.

- The Miz faced Dexter Lumis in a Winner Takes All Ladder Match. The enemies went to war in a hard-fought match, and both men took plenty of ladder-based punishment. The Miz took the fight to Johnny Gargano at ringside. Lumis laid Miz out on a table and went for a leg drop through the broadcast table, but Miz moved. Lumis persevered, but Bronson Reed made his shocking return to WWE by attacking Lumis. He then helped The Miz unhook the bags of money to win the match.

- Adam Pearce said Bobby Lashley's return is a matter of if, not when. MVP showed up and wanted to talk to him about Lashley. Pearce was pulled away by other officials, as something happened in the loading docks.

- Backstage, Dolph Ziggler and Cedric Alexander were found backstage. Ziggler said they got attacked backstage.

- The O.C. (Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows) faced Alpha Academy (Chad Gable & Otis). The two teams battled it out, and The O.C. picked up the win with the Magic Killer.

- The Bloodline attacked The O.C. after the match. The Usos and Zayn remained in the ring and made it clear that The Bloodline runs this business. AJ Styles then attacked Zayn and told Pearce he wanted a match. The WWE Official gave Styles what he wanted by booking a match between the two.

- The December 26 episode of WWE Raw will be a Best of show.

- AJ Styles and Sami Zayn clashed and threw everything they had at each other in a competitive match. In the closing minutes, Solo Sikoa came to ringside, and Styles brought the fight to him. The enforcer still drilled Styles with a Samoan Spike, and Zayn scored the win with a Blue Thunder Bomb.

-Backstage, Byron Saxton interviewed Alexa Bliss and Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair. Bliss said she can't explain what's going on now. She looked back on the way Bray Wyatt corrupted her. She noted that she now knows she deserves more, which is why she has her sights set on Belair's title. Belair pressed Bliss, who responded by saying that she's a threat to Belair, as she was winning titles long before she aligned with Wyatt. The champion got up to leave, and Bliss smashed her from behind, leaving "The EST" laid out.
