Rhea Ripley Dominates Dominik, Kat Dennings Watches, Theory's Absence Continues | RAW Fight Size

Here is your post-Monday Night Raw fight size update for August 8, 2022:

- Once again, Rhea Ripley dominated Dominik Mysterio on Monday night. After the young Mysterio got upset when his father seemingly took Edge's side during a confrontation, Dominik was nowhere to be found. During Rey's match with Finn Balor, Ripley brought a bloodied and bruised Dom to the stage, and the distraction was enough to help Balor score the win.

- New WWE fan Kat Dennings confirmed that she was watching Raw.

- Theory's absence continued on Monday, and he hasn't been part of the new era for the red brand. Mr. Money in the Bank has missed two episodes of Raw in a row, and he has not appeared on WWE TV since SummerSlam.

- Ciampa challenged for the WWE United States Championship on Monday, and he dedicated the match to his trainer, Harley Race, who was the first United States Champion in the NWA. Despite Ciampa's valiant effort, Lashley defeated him to retain the title. In a WWE Digital Exclusive, Lashley discussed his win and said that Ciampa showed up for the match. He made it clear that he'll continue to be a fighting champion because that's what the title is all about.

- Kevin Owens returned and practically sent Ezekiel to an early grave with a brutal beatdown, punctuated by a powerbomb onto the apron, on Monday. Officials tended to Ezekiel, who was then to a local medical facility. Later in the show, Owens stated that he knew more eyeballs were on Raw, and he wanted to remind everyone that it was his show.

- The WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Tournament kicked off with a first-round bout, where Dakota Kai and IYO SKY defeated Tamina and Dana Brooke. Bayley and her allies also agreed to face Bianca Belair, Asuka, and Alexa Bliss at WWE Clash at the Castle.

- Damian Priest challenged Edge to face him when Raw travels to Toronto, and the WWE Hall of Famer accepted.

- AJ Styles defeated The Miz in a hard-fought main event, which was a No Disqualification match. After the bell, Styles saw security personnel restraining a man at ringside, and his identity was revealed to be Dexter Lumis.

- Omos did all of the work in a handicap match where he and MVP faced some local talent, and the giant scored a dominant win.

-Dolph Ziggler battled Chad Gable and picked up the victory in a competitive match. In a WWE Digital Exclusive, Ziggler gave Gable credit and noted that, if he had to, he'd be willing to face Otis to recreate their WrestleMania match. He stated that he's as good as ever.

- Angelo Dawkins held his own with Seth Rollins, but the former world champion scored the win in a singles match between the two. Later in the show, Rollins was asked about Riddle's interview, and he referenced Dana White when he said that "The Original Bro" flushes his own potential down the toilet.

- Alexa Bliss and Asuka previewed their Women's Tag Team Championship Tournament match against Doudrop and Nikki A.S.H., and the latter duo also shared their thoughts on the bout.

- After a showdown between Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY and the trio of Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, and Asuka, the two teams brawled around ringside.
