Mami & Dom Dom are coming to NXT Heatwave.
Rhea Ripley stood by her man, Dominik Mysterio, as he successfully defeated Dragon Lee on the August 8 episode of WWE NXT to retain his NXT North American Title. Prior to that match, Ripley was challenged by Lyra Valkyria to stay in the back and let Dom handle his own business.
After the title match, Valkyria actually attacked Ripley. Now, Mami wants revenge. On the August 15 episode of WWE NXT, Ripley & Mysterio cut a promo challenging Lee & Valkyria to a tag team match at NXT Heatwave on August 22

Lee & Valkyria would answer the challenge in short order, with Lee making sure that the agreement was strictly platonic after Lyra suggested that they need to be as in sync as Ripley & Mysterio.
