Rhea Ripley makes her return to Monday Night Raw.
Ripley shocked fans and made her surprising return to the company on the October 2, 2023 edition of WWE Raw, attacking Nia Jax in the opening segment of the show. This was Ripley's first appearance in WWE since the September 11 episode of Raw, where she defended the Raw Women's Championship against Raquel Rodriguez. Jax made her return to WWE during this match.

After chasing off Jax, Ripley called out the Judgment Day to come to the ring, which prompted only Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio to show up. Priest bragged about still having his titles and Money In The Bank briefcase before questioning where Dominik Mysterio's title went. Ripley went on to reveal that Mysterio has a chance to win back the NXT North American Championship on the October 3 edition of NXT. Ripley also told Mysterio to not bother coming home if he is unable to regain the championship.
