Ric Flair claims there's a new wrestling-based reality show in the works.
Through the years, professional wrestling and reality television have come together on a number of occasions. Whether it's WWE Tough Enough, Total Divas, Total Bellas, or Miz and Mrs, many pro wrestlers have tried their hand at reality television.
Now, Ric Flair, on the latest episode of his "To Be The Man" podcast, claimed that there is a new reality series being shopped around to FOX and Netflix based around the wives of pro wrestlers. Ric Flair claims this show will be built around the wives of Randy Orton, Kurt Angle, Jake Hager, and his significant other, Wendy Barlow.
"You're not going to believe this. I hope this isn't breaking news. FOX and Netflix are looking at picking up the 'Housewives of Wrestling.' It's Randy's wife [Kim Orton], Kurt's wife [Giovanna Angle], Wendy [Barlow], and Jake Hager's wife [Catalina Hager]," said Ric Flair. "The reel came out so good. They're looking at it."
Furthermore, Ric Flair claims that Wendy Barlow has been paid to write a story about their life together.
"Here's another one, and why I've got to be able to myself. She just got a check to write her life story with me," said Flair. "Yeah, they gave her a hell of a bump up front. This damn documentary got everybody talking."
Kim Orton and Giovanna Angle previously hosted the Wives of Wrestling podcast. On the podcast. They'd give fans insight into such stories as how Randy Orton likes his steaks prepared and what about the movie Moana brings Randy Orton to tears.
Elsewhere in the world of wrestling reality shows, Montez Ford and Bianca Belair have begun filming for their upcoming reality series, which is slated to be released on Hulu.
