Ricky Starks thanks CM Punk.
CM Punk was the face of AEW Collision when the show launched in June, and Ricky Starks was one of the show's top stars. They feuded with each other and clashed on multiple occasions.
Punk defeated Starks on the August 5 episode, and it seemed like they were set to have a major match at AEW All Out. Fightful Select reported that they were slated to main event the pay-per-view. However, Punk was terminated from AEW on September 2, so Starks faced Danielson at the show instead.
Starks took to Twitter and responded to a fan who praised Punk and Danielson by saying, "Respect to both of them."
