Ricochet does not want to see Will Ospreay at WWE Money in the Bank.
Over the past few weeks, there has been an ongoing back-and-forth between Will Ospreay and Seth Rollins. The two wrestlers have openly praised each other, with Ospreay even calling Seth a dream opponent. On Twitter, Ospreay commented that the O2 Arena in London, the site of this year's Money in the Bank, is only 20 minutes from his house. Seth would reply by saying, "Bruv."
Appearing on My Love Letter to Wrestling with Mark Andrews, Ricochet spoke about the potential of a Rollins/Ospreay match, saying that Seth has bigger things to worry about than a Forbidden Door match.
"I don’t necessarily think Will is just going to show up at the O2, and honestly, Seth has a lot to worry about on this side. He doesn’t need to really think about outside interference. As cute and cheeky as it is, Seth has a lot more to worry about on his plate right now than a Forbidden Door match. Obviously, to have the two worlds, there is a lot going into it that would make that a big match. I don’t want to take away from that, but at the same time, Will, I’ll smack you in the face too. Shut up," he said.
On June 25, Ospreay will compete at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door where he will take on Kenny Omega. The updated card for the event can be seen here.
As for Ricochet, he has qualified for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, where he will face Shinsuke Nakamura, LA Knight, Santos Escobar, Butch, and Damian Priest. Rollins will also be in action that night, defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor. The updated card for Money in the Bank can be seen here.
