Ricochet looks back on one of the highlights of WrestleMania 39.
At the Showcase Of The Immortals in 2023, both the men's and women's tag team divisions had showcase matchups on the show, featuring four of the top teams in their divisions battling it out. In particular, Night One's matchup featuring the men was considered to be one of the matches of WrestleMania weekend.
The teams featured in the match included Alpha Academy, The Street Profits, The Viking Raiders and Ricochet and Braun Strowman. The bout would end with a sequence that featured Ricochet hitting a springboard Shooting Star Press to the outside, before he would end up taking the pinfall at the hands of The Street Profits.
While speaking to The Babyfaces Podcast, Ricochet looked back at the matchup in Los Angeles, noting that the match was 'so much fun'.
"That match was so fun. I know that leading up to it, everyone was saying what they needed to say. I know, I saw it, I heard it. We all heard it, everyone in that match. We were like, ‘Alright, bet, watch. Watch and see.’ It was so much fun. That match was so much fun."
