Rikishi: We All Need To Acknowledge Roman Reigns

Rikishi praises Roman Reigns for the opportunities he's afforded to his family and for the new avenues for growth he's helped the wrestling industry attain.

Roman Reigns has been the top guy in WWE for a decade. However, it was nearly five years ago when he tapped into a new evolution of his character, "The Tribal Chief." Since then, a great deal of focus has been placed on Roman Reigns' extended family, and throughout the years of this long-term story being told, WWE has continued to break new records and reach greater heights.

Rikishi, on the latest episode of his Off The Top podcast, sang the praises of Roman Reigns for helping not only the extended Bloodline, but the wrestling industry as a whole, reach new heights as WWE has now partnered with Netflix.

"I think we, we all need to acknowledge Roman Reigns.'The Tribal Chief.' We all need to acknowledge 'The Tribal Chief.' Man, with what type of character is this guy here? Look at the doors, the opportunities that he's opened, not only for our family but for the business, man. We're tied in with Netflix. Come on. I guarantee you, if the numbers weren't right, for well over four-plus years, this company has been on his back. In comes the Bloodline, running these storylines left and right to keep this thing going. At the end of the day, you can hate us and love us, but the numbers don't lie, baby. The numbers don't lie. You can take that to the bank if you want to. Bloodline was the timeline. Bloodline is the timeline. Hey, Netflix, Bloodline is the timeline."

Elsewhere on the pod, Rikishi spoke about The Rock's involvement with WWE Raw's debut episode on Netflix. Learn more here.

Roman Reigns is also expected to be the cover star of WWE 2K25. Learn more about that here.
