RJ City makes a noble sacrifice.
RJ City made an appearance at the Mystery Wrestling 10 event on September 8th. During a Death Match between London Lightning and Cecil Nyx, He came out dressed as London Lightning, and the broadcast team referred to him as an older version of London Lightning.
City spoke with Lightning, and after looking at his younger self, he said that he used to be so beautiful. City then mimed drinking poison. He said that the poison was stinging and burning, and he fell into Lightning's arms. City slowly collapsed, and with his final words, he told Lightning not to take so many stupid bumps. Nyx was declared the winner, as he had "killed" the older version of London Lightning.

City last wrestled at IWC's 5th Annual Pittsburgh Classic in December 2022, where he defeated Zach Nystrom. In recent years, he has been working for AEW, both behind the scenes and with his Hey! (EW) show, in addition to his role as an on-screen talent.
