Rob Bartlett Says He Would Have Loved To Have Been Part Of WWE Raw Anniversary Shows

When WWE Raw premiered in January 1993, Rob Bartlett was one of the original hosts alongside Vince McMahon and Randy Savage.

His run lasted until April and many consider him to be one of the worst announcers in WWE history. Bartlett came from the world of radio and comedy, and his humor didn't get over with McMahon, on top of him not knowing the product.

Speaking on Rewind, Recap, Relive, Bartlett looked back fondly on his time on WWE Raw, and said, "I met such great people there, really great people. I would have loved to have been part of anniversary shows. Maybe now that Vince is not there, there is a chance I can sneak back in. 'All is forgiven, I'm ready to come back and take the lumps.'"

He noted in the interview that he wished he was better, but he has no regrets about his experience.

Bartlett's last appearance on WWE TV was in April 1993.

WWE Raw will move to Netflix in January 2025. Fans can learn more about the move by clicking here.
