Netflix's docuseries "Mr McMahon" will premiere on September 25, and Rob Van Dam says he was contacted, but turned down being interviewed for the project.
Rob Van Dam spent nearly a decade in WWE, including a run as WWE Champion in 2006. As a main stay on television, RVD worked alongside Vince behind the scenes, and in storylines when ECW was revived.
Speaking on his 1 Of A Kind podcast, RVD was asked about the upcoming docuseries on Vince.
"They did contact me a couple of times, actually, about participating in interviews. Wasn't something that I opted to do. It wasn't a choice that would be conducive to my position in the business and industry. So, I passed. I told them, 'I look forward to seeing it,' and I do. I hope that they cover a lot of different realms instead of jumping to the main pillars of whatever story they choose to tell," he said.
RVD said he is looking forward to the docuseries and he will check it out once it's released.
