On this week's episode of WWE’s The Bump, it was announced that Chelsea Green will be making her NXT television in-ring debut.
Chelsea was featured on one of the final Raw’s of 2019 against Charlotte Flair, appeared on an episode of Main Event against Natalya and, most recently, Chelsea competed in the 2020 women's Royal Rumble match.
Chelsea's manager, Robert Stone, appeared on The Bump to announce that his client would be facing in-ring competition on tonight's episode of NXT. Chelsea was supposed to appear in the women's Battle Royal to determine the number one contender for Rhea Ripley at NXT TakeOver: Portland, but it was determined by Robert Stone that that would not be a suitable debut for his client. During his appearance, Stone touted Chelsea Green as the future face of NXT and their women’s division.
