The Rock, via satellite, made one more pitch to Cody Rhodes on the February 28th episode of WWE SmackDown.
Standing in the ring with Michael Cole, Cody Rhodes was gifted a custom truck courtesy of The Rock.
Appearing on the big screen, The Rock said he wanted to make all of Cody's dreams come true and told him to enjoy the truck. He also got him a custom weight belt with the words "CODY'S SOUL" and the date June 11, 2015 on it. That is the date Cody's dad Dusty Rhodes passed away.
The Rock said he's been talking to Dusty, just like he knows Cody has been talking to Dusty. He said the day Dusty passed broke his heart and he didn't want Cody to break his heart again.
Rock lose by reiterating that he wants Cody to be his champion and he wants Cody's soul, saying, "I love you, brother."

When Cody arrived to the arena, he was told that he had a new locker room courtesy of The Rock. The locker room was flush with wine, seafood, and R-Truth.
Later in the night, he was confronted by Drew McIntyre about his decision, with McIntyre saying that Cody sold his soul long ago. Cody also ran into The Miz, who told him that if he wants more, the only way to get it is to take the Rock's offer.
Before heading to the ring, Cody ran into Punk, who said he should ake the offer....shine it up real nice, turn it sideways, and stick it straight up Rock's ass.
