The Rock announced that WWE would be bringing WrestleMania 42 to New Orleans at the Superdome.
He made the announcement on the February 21st episode of WWE SmackDown.
Speaking at the post-show press conference, Rock revealed the announcement was originally going to be made at the Super Bowl, which was also held in New Orleans.
"We were going to be part of the Super Bowl and make the announcement at the Super Bowl. We had a couple of hiccups that we couldn't make that happen," he said.
