Roderick Strong has a message for Swerve Strickland, swerve all you want while you drive, it's about what you do in the ring.
After defeating Lio Rush on the June 1, 2024 AEW Collision, Roderick Strong appealed to Tony Khan to get a match for the AEW World Title on the June 5 episode of AEW Dynamite. Now, Roddy has the option to win the most prestigious prize he has yet to challenge for in his AEW career.
Speaking in a video following the June 1 AEW Collision, Roddy had a short message for the champion but the message was clear, he's coming for the AEW World Championship.
"SWERVE! Listen, I don't care what you do when you drive. I care what you do in that ring. When I'm looking back through the history books, I'm 2-0 against you. So, you may be the AEW World Champion for now, but come Wednesday in Colorado, I will be your new AEW World Champion."
