Roman Reigns is back, and he made no secret who his target was upon returning to WWE SummerSlam 2024.
In a hectic Bloodline Rules match at WWE SummerSlam 2024, Roman Reigns returned for the first time since WrestleMania XL to prove the difference in the match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa. Roman appeared alone during a moment in the match, for both men were down. Adorned in a shirt that read "OTC," Roman immediately targeted Solo, hitting him with a Superman Punch and a Spear before leaving the ring and watching Cody defeat Solo with Cross Rhodes.
Roman didn't say anything directly to Cody, but Cody also never took his eyes off Roman while taking care of business with Sikoa. Roman's former Tribal Heir became absolutely incensed when he realized that Roman had not only returned but had also cost him the WWE Championship.
Roman pointed to the letters on his new shirt as the show transitioned into the post-show happenings.

Roman hadn't been seen since losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes at WWE WrestleMania XL. Solo had since taken over The Bloodline and reshaped the group in his image, adding three new members, including Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. All three men also tried to get involved in the match, but it did not pan out in their favor.
Solo also stated multiple times that Roman would never return and that he could take up his issues with him personally if he wanted to. Unfortunately for Solo, Roman returned and followed through on Solo's request.
