Ronda Rousey: That's The Statement I Meant To Make; That Wasn't A Question At All, That Was A Statement

Ronda Rousey is back and she made a statement.

Rousey returned in the women's Royal Rumble, winning the match by last eliminating SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair. With her victory, Rousey will go on to face either the Raw Women's Champion, currently held by Becky Lynch, or the SmackDown Women's Champion at WrestleMania 38.

Following her victory, Rousey was interviewed by Sarah Schreiber backstage.

Schreiber began by noting that Rousey made "quite a statement" with her victory.

"Yeah, it is. That's the statement I meant to make. I don't know. That wasn't a question at all, that was a statement," she replied.

When asked for her reaction to the moment, Rousey said, "I'm gonna go back to my bus and love on my little baby and that's really the only thing I care about right now. My priorities have changed."

As for why she decided to return at the Royal Rumble, Rousey said, "It's the Royal Rumble and I've always wanted to come out and win the Royal Rumble. What do you mean why tonight? What other night would be better?"

Finally, Rousey was asked what fans should expect from her now that she's back.

"There was quite a reaction tonight and you can expect me not to fall for it this time," she said.

Rousey is set to appear on Monday's WWE Raw.
