Chad Gable will get another crack at the Intercontinental Championship.
On the June 3 episode of Raw, Sami Zayn came down to the ring to talk about his reign with the Intercontinental Championship and how he hasn't got to enjoy it because of Chad Gable's antics. Before Zayn could go any farther, Alpha Academy (Maxxine Dupri, Otis, and Akira Tozawa) all made their way to the ring.
Dupri began reading off a statement from Gable that ragged on his disappointment for the group and how they are all failures. Dupri finished reading Gable's statement by declaring that he wanted another shot at Zayn's title.
Zayn agreed to give a title match to Gable if it meant putting an end to Gable's bullying. After setting down his title, Zayn was blasted from behind by Gable. Gable then instructed Otis to hit Zayn, but he refused. Gable responded by slapping Otis once again.
The segment came to a head when Dupri and Tozawa stood on the apron, seemingly in protest of Gable. Zayn suddenly recovered and sent Gable flying into Dupri and Tozawa, which sent them crashing to the floor. Otis, blinded by rage, attacked Zayn before leaving the ring. Gable celebrated in the ring with the Intercontinental Championship.
