Zayn noted that he had been thinking about the WWE Intercontinental Championship and the reign he had. He named some of the greats who held the title. Zayn detailed how many greats used the title as a stepping stone to the world title, and Gunther had followed suit. He said that he would be doing the same thing. Zayn told Gunther that he wanted the World Heavyweight Championship.

Gunther responded by saying that Zayn had stepped down, and his name was not on the list of the legends he brought up. Gunther said that people liked Zayn because he kept getting up and returning to the ring. He told Zayn that he saw his passion, and if he wanted a shot, his answer was no.

Gunther started to walk away, and Zayn questioned why. He said that Gunther knew that he was the only one who had beaten him in WWE. Zayn told Gunther that he was coming for him, and he would be a world champion.

Zayn previously beat Gunther and ended his record-breaking WWE Intercontinental Championship reign at WWE WrestleMania XL.
