Hello, old friend.
During the June 15 episode of Dynamite, Chris Jericho faced off against his former Inner Circle teammate Ortiz in a Hair vs. Hair Match. This stipulation was set two weeks ago after Ortiz snuck up on Jericho and cut off a lock of his hair. Now, just a couple of weeks before The Jericho Appreciation Society faces off against Santana, Ortiz, Eddie Kingston, and Blackpool Combat Club in Blood & Guts, Jericho was seeking to exact a measure of revenge.
During the match, Eddie Kingston and the Jericho Appreciation Society fought outside the ring, causing Aubrey Edwards to be distracted. This allowed various individuals to jump in the ring and get involved. It wasn't until Fuego Del Sol came in the ring and hit Oritz with a bat that Jericho was able to pick up the win.
It was then revealed to be Sammy Guevara re-teaming with his old friend, Jericho. Ortiz held up his end of the deal, however, grabbing the clippers and shaving his head while shouting out Blood & Guts.

This was Jericho’s first Hair vs Hair match since an episode of WWE Raw in 2003 where he defeated Kevin Nash.
