Samoa Joe has donated his hair to a good cause.
Posting on Instagram, the former-United States Champion shared that he has cut and donated his hair to charity. Joe wrote, "It was a good run, hopefully it will find a better purpose at @cwhl_org . #cutpasslove."
Children With Hair Loss is a non-profit organization that provides human hair replacements at no cost to children and young adults facing medically-related hair loss.
Joe returned to the ring in January 2020 after missing the last three months of 2019 with a broken thumb, but his return didn't last long as he reportedly suffered a concussion and violated the WWE wellness policy in February. Joe has spent his time away from in-ring competition by serving as a commentator on Raw.
It is unknown when Joe will be able to return to the ring.
It has been almost one year since Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp had his hair cut by AEW's Nightmare Collective. He also donated his hair, this time benefiting Wigs For Kids.
There were a lot of moving parts and people that made this happen, and thank you to all of them. I hope if you have long hair or grow it out, you consider donating it. It can make the difference in the confidence of someone when they need it most. https://t.co/dU4DCiDD0p
