Samoa Joe vs. Roman Reigns Intercontinental Title Rematch Set For Raw

A rematch for the Intercontinental title is set to go down this Monday on Raw.

This afternoon, General Manager Kurt Angle made the announcement on his Twitter, with added rules being that if Roman Reigns were to get disqualified, he would lose both the match and the title:

This stems from last week on Raw, where the two met with the title on the line. It was an even back and forth match until Reigns started to pummel Joe in the corner. The referee tried to separate the two, but Joe shoved referee John Cone to the floor, causing him to stop the match via DQ and give the win to Samoa Joe.

Reigns proceeded to destroy Joe after match, perhaps in retaliation for what he did to Dean Ambrose the previous week, who was written out of the show due to a triceps injury that will keep him out of action for months.
