Sasha Banks and Naomi have been punished for their walkout this past Monday.
Significant changes were made to the May 16 episode of WWE Raw as it was initially announced that the show was going to be headlined by a six-pack challenge featuring Sasha Banks, Naomi, Asuka, Becky Lynch, Nikki ASH, and Doudrop to determine the number one contender for the Raw Women's Championship.
After Naomi & Banks walked out of the arena, the match was changed to Asuka vs. Becky Lynch. WWE put out a statement on the situation saying, "During the broadcast, they walked into WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis’ office with their suitcases in hand, placed their tag team championship belts on his desk, and walked out."
During the May 20 episode of WWE SmackDown, Michael Cole announced that the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions had been suspended indefinitely and a future tournament to crown new champions would be held. Sasha and Naomi have yet to issue a statement on the matter.
