Sasha Banks Returns To WWE SmackDown, Helps Bayley Brawl With Lacey Evans & Naomi

Sasha Banks is back on SmackDown.

It's been nearly two months since Banks last appeared on SmackDown, but made her return to the ring after being introduced by SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley. Banks was ringside for Bayley's match with Naomi but Banks caused the match to end in a disqualification after breaking up a pinfall.

Both Bayley and Banks started attacking Naomi but Lacey Evans arrived to help make the save. A tag team match pitting the team of Bayley & Banks against the team of Naomi & Evans was made. Unfortunately for Banks, her return match was spoiled as Naomi & Evans won the match.

Banks hasn't wrestled since January 3 when she teamed with Bayley in a triple threat tag team match. She was not cleared to compete in the Women's Royal Rumble. In an in-character interview on WWE After The Bell, Banks stated that she hasn't wrestled due to the ankle injury suffered on television courtesy of Lacey Evans. She claimed to be 100 percent but needs to be 125 percent to return. You can find her full comments by clicking here.
