Serena Deeb Provides An Update On Her Knee Injury

Serena Deeb is one step closer to being cleared.

In a new video posted on social media, Deeb begins by sitting in a wheelchair in the ring, but removes her brace, stands up, and says she no longer needs her knee brace.

"I'm one step closer to being cleared," she says.

Deeb then launches into another promo, calling out women who lack respect and dedication to the business, recalling the story of shaving her head on WWE TV to get her break in wrestling. "Show me a woman today who would do the same thing for this business," she stated.

Deeb said it doesn't matter who is thrown in front of her when she returns, whether it be a Bunny, a Beast, an Alien, or a Doctor, "they will all see that there is only one professor of professional wrestling."

Deeb last wrestled on the July 19 (taped on July 14) episode of AEW Dark: Elevation. She previously stated she had been working through a knee injury.

It is unknown when she will return to the ring.
