Following the WWE cutbacks on Wednesday, Seth Rollins took to Instagram Live and called for the industry to come together and support everyone during the tough time. Rollins received criticism for pointing out that he was upset that fans were angry at WWE, feeling it wasn't the right time. You can find Rollins' full comments by clicking here.
David Starr, who has consistently pushed for wrestling to unionize and called out WWE for some of their moral conflicts, questioned Rollins, wondering if he wanted wrestlers to rally around the entire industry or just one certain company.
Do you mean rally behind an industry or rally behind a company? https://t.co/oatYyYNG9f

Rollins clarified that he wants everyone to rally around the whole industry, not just WWE.
I very much mean an industry, David. I came from nothing. I have friends and students at every level and they’ve all been decimated by this pandemic. As the shutdown took hold of my WWE family yesterday, I felt a deep sadness. I want us all to lift each other up. https://t.co/POiRMeW12t

I agree that we workers all need to rally together.

I think recognition of responsibility for the unnecessary & egregious decisions made should be made as well.
I believe the sentiment of compassion, empathy and sadness is sincere.

I also believe the recognition of responsibility for these unnecessary & egregious actions should be made as well.
We, as workers, need to channel this sadness (and in some cases justified anger) to unify. https://t.co/jMcX4GrGHL
Rollins has not replied to Starr, but has promoted Independent promotions on his social media, asking for fans to help if they are able to.
