Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes officially signed the contract for their ladder match for the Undisputed WWE Championship during WWE Saturday Night's Main Event.
As is tradition with contract signings in wrestling, the signing did not go down without incident as Owens struck Rhodes after the contracts were signed. Owens was set to deliver a piledriver to Shawn Michaels, who was presiding over the ceremonies, but Rhodes made the save.
Michaels laid out Owens with a Sweet Chin Music.

After all three men entered the ring, Rhodes was quick to sign the contract.
Before signing the contract, Owens called Rhodes a liar for saying that Owens always takes the easy way out. Owens, who was wearing a "Cody Sucks Eggs" shirt as a nod to Terry Funk and his feud with Dusty Rhodes, said that Cody took the easy way out when he quit.
Rhodes cut off Kevin, saying he was done worrying about Kevin and instead was looking to focus on defending the Undisputed WWE Title at WrestleMania.
Owens said Rhodes isn't done with him because he will prove that he is the true and rightful WWE Champion, and he would get everything Rhodes has gotten including the posters, the busses, and the grand entrances, because that is what he deserves.
Michaels believed that Owens was jealous, but Owens fired back, saying that Michaels was just like Rhodes because he quit when things got tough as well. Owens said that he would be a champion that people could be proud of and not one who would lose his smile.
Owens did sign the contract and both titles were hung up and raised above the ring.
